Stop comparing about figures in gambling as we don't have the same financial capability.

Comparing a bet of $10 to $20 but someone who bet $20 are making $10,000 a month is not a high risk taker than someone who bet $10 but making only $100 per month. It's called irresponsible gambling if someone bet a big percentage of his income as it seem like he prioritizes gambling over the other needs, and usually this type of people are ones who suffers big defeat and stupid enough to blame gambling for the outcome.
442  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I still hold the investment or sell it? on: December 06, 2023, 09:52:21 PM
From what you said, it shows that you don't have too much knowledge about bitcoin. So, first I recommend that you learn about the history and all the knowledge related to bitcoin, from there you will know whether you should continue to hold bitcoins or sell them.

My advice to you, bitcoin is a very good long-term investment. The longer you hold, the greater the reward you receive, but holding is not simple because of its volatility. That's why I ask you to improve your knowledge about bitcoin immediately instead of investing without knowledge like today.

Well, I agree, but maybe for some people it will be difficult, just investing without having any results from it other than an increase in value might be difficult, so I think some people buy Bitcoin and then sell it and open a business or something that can earn money every month.
from there you will buy back bitcoin or other crypto.
At least they have a reason for selling their Bitcoin.
Well, of course, holding will be hard for impatient people and at the moment they will see they have earned some profit already, selling is always in their mind. Besides, we can't expect that everyone will hold long-term or see people sell after seeing a profit already. Perhaps, we have individual investment strategies and we can do whatever we want whether we hold long-term or short-term the most important is we earn money, not losses.
443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: December 06, 2023, 01:23:50 PM
Right, but there are boxers who might slack in training as well because they are over confident and that's why we have seen upsets do really happen in boxing. So if you really have the talent and then add that the mentality of a champion by training harder, then you can accomplished a lot of things.

Not just in boxing though, like in basketball for instance, Kobe's mamba mentality, and then you can't out train him. We have heard stories about how Kobe trains so hard that non one can matches him. It doesn't mean that he needs to overtrain train though, just enough to peak his body and mind during the fight day.

I guess boxers don't follow the same routine all the time; it always depends on their opponent as they have a specific strategy to use against a certain opponent. And as we all know, Inoue is currently the best in this division, and even in the lower division where he left after unifying the belts. So, you can tell that it's a big challenge for Tapales, and he also sees this as an opportunity to make a name in boxing. To make that happen, he needs to use his A-game strategy here.

Kobe is different, though, as he is already one of the hall of famers in boxing, at least in the top 5, while Inoue isn't even in the top 10 list yet of the best of all time in boxing. And in terms of training or work ethic, it could be different as they're in different sports.

It looks like the fight between those two is a match, but I bet on Inoue there, because I see more strong potentials that he will win over his opponent. Although I'm not saying that he will compete against a weak opponent.
Both are strong but we are looking unto who is stronger between the two and Inoue won that without a question.
however, real fight could be different as you know, upset could happen regardless on where this fight is held. Tapales could win by KO as he also got power, he just have to time Inoue well and throw that clean counter punch, for sure Inoue will be hurt and might not recover.

We are talking of one side here, if Tapales will lose, however, mostly what people would see is what happened a lot in the past,  and Inoue hasn't experience a loss yet.

Inoue's opponent might just make a wrong move and I'm sure the consequences will be KO, but just a little mistake by Inoue can suddenly reverse the situation and he will be the one to lose. Because his opponent will not have a belt if he is not strong.

That's why both are very careful as both are aware they have the power to KO an opponent.
444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 06, 2023, 12:42:24 PM
I didn’t expect the Paces and Pelicans to be this far in the tournament but here we are. Another good win for LeBron over KD as the Lakers advanced passed the Suns. LeBron seems to have KD’s number these days with the sudden win streak after not facing each other for years. KD upped his efficiency this matchup, but it still wasn’t enough to secure a win.

As for me, I didn't expect the Lakers to win but when it comes to crucial games and they are all present playing without any injuries, this is the game we are expecting from them and we see that they easily handle it well against the Suns and managed to advance and will face the New Orleans tomorrow night. This won't be hard for them because they are more than capable of beating them this time since they are hyped from that win against the Suns and the Pelicans should not be that hard for them unless they will be choked and cannot win the game.

I don't see it as easy, as the Suns are just around the corner. If the Lakers make a mistake, the Suns could capitalize on it. Booker has struggled with his shooting, and the defense is really focused on him. If Booker keeps going, the Suns could beat the home team. The Suns are a high-scoring team, but the Lakers were able to minimize their production with their great defense. Kudos to them, and LeBron still looks at his prime; when he attacks, he's almost unstoppable.

It's the outside shooting of the Suns versus the inside penetration of the Lakers, and the Lakers are winning the battle.
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin looking like sleeping gigant in this bull run season on: December 05, 2023, 09:51:50 PM
As far as I know, Litecoin is a coin that is well established and has a very large community in the crypto world. I am very optimistic that Litecoin will provide big profits for its users, and I suggest that if you believe in Litecoin, now is the right time to start buying and investin with Lite Coin because the price has not gone up.
Indeed, this is a very old coin with a large community of fans, it’s a pity that the last halving did not live up to the expectations of many investors. Now the price is really very attractive, but you will have to wait a long time and you need to be prepared for this. Litecoin does not give sharp Xs; here you need to be able to wait.
It doesn't matter if it was an old project or new but what matters most is the use case and application of the project in the crypto space and it is to find out that Litecoin is not the choice of the people. Maybe it was not the right time for LTC to gain such attraction but for me, it never really looked attractive. People have thought about earning a profit and LTC never shows such potential that will attract and encourage investors. They have the reason why they reject and this will have a huge impact on its price where even during the bull season it never goes high like others.
446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: December 05, 2023, 11:58:35 AM
They aren't worried because behind this league are big companies, they're earning a lot of money but as to sustainability, that could be a problem in the long run, so it's still better if they'll make an improvement by eliminating farm terms, company is limited to owning one team only, and adding more teams to participate.

yeah, it looks like they are privatizing it that all they want to happen will happen, those who are holding a high position like a commissioner may only serve as a puppet of the real personalities that are running the business. PBA has been here for awhile, even before we got created in this world but they aren't going into a direction that a strong league is going.

MPBL will probably replace PBA in popularity in the future.
447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Money laundering in crypto casino on: December 05, 2023, 11:30:21 AM
In the platform they watch how much money is being cashed in and cashed out. There are some limit to the amount you can deposit unless you have passed some ID and security called KYC. They do this so as to avoid all this problems and if a user go against their terms and privacy you will be ban from playing until your appeal will be checked.

They don't watch all the time, unless you're a high roller and you are consistently winning, that would make casinos to look into your activities. However, in terms of money laundering, they have a procedure to follow and that is not coming from them, but from the regulators and from time to time they are also getting some new mandates to ensure that money laundering are caught or prevented.
448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 05, 2023, 07:22:12 AM
Celtics @ Pacers was a nice game today!! SO many lead changes and ties, that's what we want to see. Haliburton went crazy again. I wonder how you can make so many 3s with this kind of shooting form sometimes.

Especially the last 4 point play 3 was insane, Jason Tatum's reaction to it was also priceless.

Still I am not a fan of this "tournament". Yesterday 0 games, today and tomorrow only 2 games. 3 days with only 4 games, that's boring! When it's finals time ok but we are not even at the mid point of the season and already have to wait to see games.

The kid deserve a huge contract, he was literally leading the team with his triple double, it's fun to watch that this young team has been killin the best in the East which is the Celtics. They still end up being a high scoring team, scoring 37 points in 3rd and 4th quarter against a supposed to be good defensive team, it was their game and they desrve that big win.

I heard from the announcers that it was a single elimination, so this means they'll advance in the semi's, right?

Yes that's right, it's a single elimination only. Refer to the rules.

Everyone loves a bracket...

The NBA In-Season Tournament moves on to the Knockout Rounds!

Quarterfinals: Dec. 4 & 5
Semifinals: Dec. 7
Championship: Dec. 9

We will see the championship this December 9, this is probably just a one game also.

Having this kind of set up is quite new but it's fun to watch as I can also feel the playoff atmoshphere.
449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should altcoins be blamed? on: December 02, 2023, 02:51:38 PM
My question is should altcoins really be blamed for hate some persons have for Bitcoin due to their loss in alt coins?
Perhaps, they could blame it for what they think it should, it was their opinion as well. But also, they have to blame themselves together for being too innocent from investing in shitcoins. We can't hold them from doing that because usually scammers use the name Bitcoin, and used known altcoins to trap greedy and no-how people.

We are already aware of such sentiment, someone could be blamed for their losses and it always happens because it was hard for them to accept and take the blame for their mistakes so they point others.
450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why sports betting? on: December 02, 2023, 01:46:54 PM
You are actually right that winning every game depends on luck. I would say the same thing at the end of the day sports betting or any other game is all about luck. However, I think that when it comes to sports betting, those gamblers who have a good understanding of sports and are experienced have a much higher probability of winning. I think this can be a reason for loving sports betting Also, my personal view is that there is a different excitement that can be found in sports that cannot be found in casino games.  Although I like PVP games in casino games too.
Though it requires luck but sports betting gives us a bigger chance to win compared to card games and lotteries. Because if we are too familiar with the sports and the players, we have the advantage to choose the team that is very likely to win and put bets on them. Unlike in card games or lotteries that require more luck rather than skills which means that our chances to win are very slim. That is why I prefer to gamble in sports betting than other forms of gambling. It is not just wise but a good choice too...
451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not gamble with Loan Money~otherwise you will be in danger like me on: December 02, 2023, 12:58:45 PM

I have also seen family members borrow money to gamble, and when they default, the family's common assets will be assigned to the debt. So I feel lucky to be able to see the negative side of this field, and I also hope that people will understand their responsibility for those decisions.
I was sure that they were aware of this but they let this thing happen to them because of their gambling addiction. Because they thought that gambling was a good place to multiply their money but they have been fooled with such thinking and in the end, they all suffer the consequences of their loan/debts. There are a lot of people who have been in that situation, they take loans everywhere and all of them are defaulted. And now, they become empty and poor.

Well, they only realize their wrongdoing when the situation happens to them already.
452  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Only Sell what you don't need. on: December 02, 2023, 12:03:42 PM
Selling your property is like losing your own advantage to your own property, which means you are not capable anymore to enjoy its future profits since you are already selling it for a cause. And for me, that is not an ideal strategy. It's still best to work on it to achieve or acquire a new investment, not selling your previous property and trade for a new one.

However, that is only from my own point of view. We all have different concepts about selling properties, and for me thats not my nature of doing.
If selling some properties that are not likely to give us profit is the last option, I will do it. Sometimes we need to decide to let go of some things for a better future. I could make sacrifices if I knew that this new investment could give me more than the properties that I'm going to sell. Indeed, we all have different points of view and it was really for us to think about what is best and what we can get from having this new one. At least, we selling something for a reason and that is to multiply our money, not just to spend only for nonsense stuff.

NLEX +11.5 @1.80 vs Magnolia

Good luck to our bets.

I did not watch the game but I trusted my instinct and bet on Magnolia with spread.

Was a bit worried after the first half because they ended up like a very close game, but I am still confident that Magnolia is going to blow the NLEX in the 2nd half and they didn't fail me, I won my bet because I trusted the team. Such a great team, I think I'll always back them as even with high spread, it's just like nothing to them.

That was a close game until the end of the second quarter but Magnolia managed widen the gap in the third canto and NLEX couldn't catch up anymore. Magnolia is a hot team right now and with Fajardo due to injury, i'm not surprised to see them playing in the Finals this conference.
Is Fajardo already out for the season? I saw ha had some kind of bandage in his and shoulder in their last game.

Well, if the injury of JMF, I think Magnolia's chances of winning a championship is very high. There's Ginebra and TNT, but these team's aren't the same team in the past, while Magnolia continue to keep their core and they have a good import now.

Meanwhile, ROS vs Blackwater are playing now, I have ROS with -3.5 in this game, i'm hoping they'll end their drought tonight.

Good bet kabayan, ATM ROS is having a slim lead.

End of first half, 61-54, ROS ahead, not bad, they should cover.

455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you make gambling a profession - a full time job on: December 02, 2023, 04:28:53 AM

But, in a broader sense, can you make gambling a career path, abandoning all other sources of income to focus entirely on it?
If so, why?
If not, please advise!
I could gamble but thinking about considering this as a source of income, I couldn't imagine if I could do it knowing the fact that I was not too lucky enough in gambling. Making a full-time journey in gambling is not actually a wrong decision but it was not recommended knowing that gambling is too risky and aside from that, we don't have to rely on our future for luck. We have no assurance in gambling and if you know that only a few become a successful gambler and it means something. It could be a good option if we run a business like this, not as a gambler.
456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin investment is the key to success" on: December 01, 2023, 09:55:35 PM
I will tell you OP that there is no wrong with what you did, sometimes we need to sacrifice other things for a very important thing. You have to know that selling Bitcoin is not a regrettable moment in our life unless if we just spend the money for nothing. We don't have to regret because we still have the chance to start again. We have not focused on the price and stopped thinking " if I never sold my Bitcoin before I become rich now" because this will lead to some frustrations but instead, make a plan on how to start again.
Remember that before we achieve success, we also experience failures and mistakes.
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing altcoins now or during halving? on: December 01, 2023, 09:40:35 PM
Currently Altcoins are start growing and crypto market condition is pretty good as every where is green. And many of us expected that, bull will come soon and so people already start analysis for which altcoins should buy and could be best investment for bull run. But as we know, market goes a little down when it comes to BTC Halving, which will be happened probably on 24th april, 2024.
So are you going to pick your altcoins Now??  Or During/After BTC Halving while you can buy altcoins with low price?
If I were you, don't wait for them to finally get bullish before buying but have them now. Well, I'm sure that you also know how to wait but if you are an impatient person, this will never work. We are expecting the bull season will come after halving but yes, the market seems looking good and pumping which I don't think we could ignore the chance while these potential coins are cheap. We should have taken action/decision before it was too late or else, we wait for another market cycle.
458  Economy / Economics / Re: Inventing a job is better than finding a job on: December 01, 2023, 01:53:00 PM
Running a business is one way of helping others as it creates jobs for the job seekers. That is why we should be thankful to those who have a mindset of running a business as this will give us the chance for everyone to get a job and feed themselves and their family. Well, business owners seem getting more money but we should not be jealous about that because without them, many people are jobless and are on the street rooming around.

And the world has this - job creators and job seekers. Rich and Poor...
459  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A lesson from other people's mistake can go a long way on: December 01, 2023, 01:16:53 PM

it would be nice for the community to drops tips and also past errors that he or she did that others can learn from to advance themselves or do you feel making the mistake ourselves is alot more experience than this?
After all, we commit fewer mistakes with the help of those individuals who share their mistakes. This is to imply that mistakes are a usual thing to happen to all of us whether we are new or old timers as no one is perfect. But the good thing is that these mistakes that we have experienced help us to become strong and even more careful of our actions and market response. And this is the reality - more experience, more losses but earning more ideas as well. Therefore, we don't need to be afraid of making mistakes because this is the reason why we are still here and keep learning.
460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What lies ahead for Bitcoin in the coming days? on: November 30, 2023, 10:04:33 PM
Hi everyone.
We can all agree that the starting of this year 2023 has been extremely good for Bitcoin and a few other Cryptocurrencies unlike last year 2022 that Bitcoin had an epileptic run and was literally struggling, making lots of people think twice about still choosing Bitcoin as their choice of investment.

I wasn't fully reliant on crypto investment as I also invest outside crypto but if we talk about investment here, no doubt that Bitcoin is still the most trusted coin. We don't need to think it twice and never think about the current situation because it has been proven already that Bitcoin has been growing since the day of its creation and it will continue to grow as its adoption keeps increasing. But of course, we never put all our money in Bitcoin, it was still the best option to invest on other platforms to gain assurance that our money was safe.
