1221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Solana failure resistant? on: March 10, 2023, 02:06:29 PM
We can't say it was a failure because we saw it dump today as we never know what will happen in the next couple of days.
Because many experts could tell us that Solana is one of the promising crypto projects. But of course, it can't escape from the dump and all projects have suffered that situation whether we like it or not. So, we could not assume it was a failure until such time that it collapse or became another shitcoins that has no market value and were rejected by major exchanges.
1222  Economy / Speculation / Re: If history repeats itself: 2023 vs 2019 on: March 10, 2023, 01:21:15 PM
Bitcoin is indeed unique and often the same and recurring trends, which is popular, of course, is a 4 -year trend price skyrocketing and then the following year drops, and if in 2017 the price skyrocketed and 2018 is in the lowest and at the end of 2019 starting recovery, hopefully in 2023 it can Like 2019 and towards recovery, it is natural that many people believe that the price will reach $ 50K at the end of the year.
And then we assume that everything goes the same as before and then think that the next ATH will be even higher than the last time.
Whether it was right or wrong, nobody knows exactly but at least we take action and anticipate the upcoming bull season, and filling our bags is a great idea. But as we have seen the trend these days, the market is quiet, with no FUDs, no market drama like exchanges scams - perhaps it was very calm which I think was not good. I'd rather like to see the market full of drama to make it more appealing and active, and most of all, it attracts curiosity to the community and possibly bring more demand which could uplift the price.
1223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 10, 2023, 11:56:50 AM

EDIT: Warriors from being down 4, have went back to being down to a 18 point deficit at halftime, but then is it what risking the ML on Warriors @ 4.57

The struggle continues for the Warriors. It should have been their best chance to win since Morant was out, but it turns out the game was completely one-sided, with Memphis dominating them. Well, I guess the best strategy now is to never stop supporting the Warriors until they break their losing streak. Their best chance to win is at home, regardless of the betting spread.

In their next game, they'll be back at home with enough rest, but take a look at the team they'll be playing against: the Bucks, which is currently the hottest team. So, I guess it's going to be a huge challenge for them. However, I like the situation they are in since they are playing at home and against a good team. It's definitely a moneyline situation.
1224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: March 09, 2023, 03:25:25 PM
Regarding the shortcut, no, I don't think so too. There's not enough competition in his former weight class anymore and he had all the belts so I guess that's living proof of it. What will he do there? Get old and be beaten someday? Whoever said he did cut corners, that's just foolish.
I like how wise his camp is, keep on moving forward, that should be the goal. Break records.

That's the best way to maximize his talent, by pushing his limits. I'm sure he still has a lot to prove in a higher division. With his power, he might likely achieve what Manny Pacquiao had achieved in the past, so he has to be aggressive in moving forward, and of course, he should beat Fulton first.
1225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: March 09, 2023, 02:39:27 PM
There is a rumor that Franklin will be gone from the PBA. Is it true? I'm sure everyone saw his bad performance in their game against Ginebra. The rumor suggests that Coach Ayo is not happy and they are going to replace him with a new import. I think Franklin is really good, but he may have some attitude problems. Would you agree?
1226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is launching a new project during bear market a good idea?? 🤔 on: March 09, 2023, 01:42:46 PM
Might not be a good idea if you are just thinking about hyping it and earning a profit easily. But even if you are launching your project during the bull season it doesn't guarantee success as well because it only lies on the potentiality of the project, not because of the bull season. Because even if it was launched during the bear season but investors see the good concept of the project and could really be trusted, they never hesitate to put money into your project. But if not, never expect such a "success" thing as this is likely impossible to happen.
1227  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too late to start? on: March 09, 2023, 01:11:27 PM
If you look back OP when you just heard about Bitcoin last 2017, it is certain you'll be thinking that you are late and that was true. Because even if we say that the market is so volatile but missing those 5 years, it was a great loss of opportunity and we can no longer bring it back again. But if you will start now and make yourself bag ready for the next Bull season, you are actually filling those days. Earning is not impossible even coming late because as long as you are investing in crypto, you are already making a way to earn a profit.
1228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you planning to accumulate for 2025 on: March 08, 2023, 09:50:47 PM
I have been gone for a while and now I am back, I am fully prepared to build some long term hold bags with the new trending utilities in the crypto space, I still somehow believe that Metaverse and A.I will generate big gains by 2025, what coins are you currently looking forward to accumulating? Out of Metaverse and Artificial intelligence is fine.
Metaverse season is over but Artificial Intelligence projects are now hitting up the market, kinda see it will hype someday. So if I were you, make your plan now and start looking for those projects, it should be wise to make a start earlier to make ready for the bull season which is likely to happen after halving next year.  But of course, don't just focus on them, it is better also to invest known coins together with these AI projects for assurance that you will still have the chance to recover your money in the case that worse happens ( scam).
1229  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it legal for our kids to learn trade? on: March 08, 2023, 09:32:59 PM
It is not wrong about teaching them, not I think we can say it was illegal because we did is a sort of preparation for them for real trading when they are fully ready and when they are of legal age (18 yrs old).

Because trading is not all about learning how to trade, we are also about learning the entire concept of crypto, emotional control, time management, and financial management. This could be hard to absorb in a short time and I see in 4 years of preparations that kid will be able to learn everything he/she needs before actual trading.
1230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: March 08, 2023, 11:12:27 AM
Ryan has that power punch that if being thrown and convert to Davis, he can make him kiss the floor.

Of course, it's not impossible for a knockout to happen as both fighters have a high KO rate. Ryan Garcia happens to be the underdog here, but he is actually a good match up for Davis. Not only will Garcia be tested, but Davis will also be tested as well. Although Garcia is the underdog, it's wrong to underestimate him.
1231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 08, 2023, 10:37:23 AM
Now the Lakers are in the play-in tournament and we never expected this one to happen in their last games with Westbrook as soon as they released him, they managed to play well even without Lebron. AD is doing well these past few games and they are coming to get that number 6 slot if they continue to win in their next games as well. They can really do well even when they are only a few stars on the court and seems like AD is finding his right rhythm while playing today even though he injured his nose but he continues to dominate the game.

Anthony Davis definitely got it done tonight. The Lakers hot streak continues as they look to make the playoffs. I’m pretty impressed with how well they’ve been doing without LeBron James. No idea when he’ll be back but I imagine when he does the Lakers will be a team to contend with. Playoff bound it seems.

On the other hand, that's also the price Memphis has to pay for not having Morant. It's good for the Lakers as they seem to be playing with great chemistry now. Memphis played two games in LA and lost both of them. It was a great game for Davis, and he had another impressive performance. I really hope that he remains healthy as the Lakers continue to climb and secure a playoff spot.

Davis' presence really matters for the Lakers. Even without LeBron, the chemistry among all the players inside the court is quite impressive. They are sharing the ball and they are making good plays together.

I see your point with Memphis. It's far different when Ja is playing. He added pressure to their opponents and
the focus of the defense most of the time will be on him, giving his teammates good space to produce scores,
moving forward, Lakers now is moving up currently inside the top 10, still have games to play for everyone.

The Lakers have added defensive players who can also score, which has been a significant benefit since trading Westbrook. That's why even without Lebron, they are still winning games. They are currently ranked 9th, and their record of 7-3 in their last 10 games is impressive.
1232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have bitcoin, what do you guys recommend I buy as well on: March 07, 2023, 10:15:14 PM
I have a good amount of btc that I'm very pleased with. I love btc. Are there any other coins you guys could recommend I buy next? (none of your comments count as financial advice)
If you are willing for long-term holding, Bitcoin is the best choice for you. I don't think that you need to convert your some of Bitcoin to altcoins.
If you have other free money to add to Altcoin investment, I just think of getting into BNB or ETH. Because these two coins are in my mind. But, if you are willing to take a higher risk, you may need to seek new altcoins with a high market cap when in the low price right now.
OP had already got enough Bitcoin in his wallet. He is now looking for something that could give him an interest like investing in altcoins withing the intention of converting this Bitcoin but rather adding more assets. I believe ETH is one of the best choices but we can't deny the fact that new projects like AI are now on the trend which could possibly give us huge returns. OP might take a look at it but not to mention which one for at least he could make himself study and do the research of his own.
1233  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: who would you trust? on: March 07, 2023, 09:42:26 PM
I just follow and listen to the advice of people who say that. The rest I will decide for myself whether I suit it, or whether what he said is true. So you have to pay attention to that and don't just follow what they say.
In the case of trading, you should never trade by listening to others, you should trade according to your plan and desire. But there are exceptions to this in some cases, such as those who are more experienced than you in trading and have been associated with trading for a long time and have the ability to give positive advice, you can make a decision by checking the advice rationale. But you should never take or give advice to those who are inexperienced in trading. Always remember that a small wrong decision in trading can lead to big losses. So you should trade based on what you know about trading.
I'd never think that it works. Because as I experience, it was good to have at least someone who will guide you to trade as a newbie. In fact, watching tutorials is also one way of listening to others, have you never done that? I believe everyone has done with this and we are reliant on others as a beginner so we have an idea of what we gonna do. Yes, of course, we can't have them for long but at least we already have to earn ideas from them which is enough for us to start our own and make our own strategies and plan.
1234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 07, 2023, 01:00:53 PM
Their last loss on home is against the Thunder last January. Jokic almost got a triple double again with 17-13-9.

Congratulations again for you, and to all winners today. Smiley
You probably put your bet when the Nuggets were down. That was a come-from-behind win for them. They are a smart team, which is why they won, and the Raptors were just frustrated in the dying minutes, which caused them to get distracted easily. In the last few sequences, Jokic was smart to foul Poeltl because he missed his only 2 FT, which gave the Nuggets the ball possession again.
1235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 07, 2023, 12:02:33 PM
If they reach up to playoffs then Suns and Mavs will face up then this is exciting game to watch since for sure we can see more heated arguments between those guys.
They might meet, and if they do in the first round, only one of them will continue to the second round. I believe the Warriors are still the team to beat, as they are still underrated despite winning the championship. With the betting odds, it looks like other teams are favored, especially the Celtics and the Bucks, to win the championship.
1236  Economy / Gambling / Re: shame on the stake on: March 04, 2023, 01:13:53 PM

support did not help me, they just unsubscribed
this obviously tells you that this site is cannot be trusted. The lack of a support system is a failure for their site as it is very important and it plays a vital role, especially in answering questions and help.
Quote
" I am sorry but there is nothing that we can do in these situations, when our odds provider rejects cashout attempt all bets are being settled per the final result as stated in the sportsbook rules."

I just want people to know that there may be bugs like this on this site and support won't support you.
Don't let this bug(7 seconds delay) become an excuse for them not to pay your rewards. Because if they are legit and you are also doing according to their rules, there is no problem with as they will listen to your explanations but nothing happens as there is no support team to help you solve the problem. Better to stay a way from them.
1237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the easiest way to explain bitcoin to a regular person? on: March 04, 2023, 11:50:21 AM
There is no easiest way to explain Bitcoin to any person other than telling the truth and the importance of Bitcoin. They'll never appreciate the value and role of Bitcoin to them if they won't clearly understand it that is why we shouldn't hurry to teach them but rather do it step by step until we reach the goal. Because Bitcoin is not just a few words or a simple discussion but indeed, it was a long discussion which means that it takes time for the listeners to catch up. especially when we are mentioning some technical terms.
1238  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Emotion and Trade? on: March 04, 2023, 11:18:52 AM
If your emotions are under control, you can now focus solely on knowledge and improving your strategy to increase your trading winning percentage and find those trades that go your way, much like you can now filter out more of those tempting trades to find a sure one. I know controlling emotions is difficult, and other traders are also learning this because their trading plan isn't working well. But if you are under control, then you can only focus on backtesting your strategy and learning more.
Controlling emotions are difficult to a certain degree, but if after many months of trying, you can't still control your emotions, maybe the problem is not your emotions but who you are as a person. I believe that trading is "easy" in the sense that you could of course make a loss, even the best traders make a loss here and there, but what you need to do is obvious.

If you do what you should be doing, then it's fine to lose sometimes. Learning what you should be doing and how you should be trading is not really that much of a difficult thing, and that is why I believe that we shouldn't be worried about the current situation at all, just focus on everything else.
Losing from trading has no exemptions because even those pro traders had also experienced this. Controlling our emotions is not hard actually, because as long as we wanted to change and are able to see positive results we dare to do it no matter what. But if we don't mind correcting our mistakes and letting our emotions control us, there is no way we can make it right. In this case, I suggest that we must let go of trading and forget about it because it makes no sense actually if we keep on trading while carrying emotions as the results remain - losses.
1239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: March 04, 2023, 08:00:57 AM
This is why its unlikely that there would be some unjustifiable counts of punches landed and missed out on this one.Lets just see on whose better inside the ring
between these two.

Let's forget that speculation of cheating and anything else. I doubt that will happen in this fight.

Naoya Inoue surely is pissed if something like that happened where the clear winner of the fight won't be the announced winner.

It will also ruin the market of the boxing industry in Japan if such big fights will be associated with cheating.

There will be no cheating speculation in this fight because it will not be decided by the judges. I'm pretty sure one of them will win via KO, but I have doubts it will be Fulton since Inoue has been eliminating boxers that he fought, and I think he will be more aggressive against a champion.

Yes, Inoue has been steam rolling everyone at 118 lbs, and since he has move up to super bantamweight, champion like Fulton is waiting for him. So give credit for Fulton here, he might be really confident and thinks that he need to beat Inoue, and gain the respect.

For Inoue's climbing up, yes, it might not be so difficult for him after all. And it just happen that he will go against one of the best champion in this division, nevertheless, he will be still be the favorite against the American.

When an Asian fighter is favored against an American, it typically means the fighter is really good. Given that Foltun is the champion, he should be the favorite, but due to Inoue's dominance in the bantamweight division, many people think it's just another day in the office for Inoue. They believe he will do his usual thing, which is to dominate the fight and knock out his opponent.

We are about to witness another historic fight since this will be Inoue's first fight in the super bantamweight division. If he beats the champion with an impressive win, the hype surrounding him will only grow stronger.
1240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: March 04, 2023, 06:39:53 AM
Moving on to today's games, we have Northport vs. ROS in the first game. I find this matchup more interesting compared to the last game. Once again, I believe ROS will be playing without an import, and Northport is heavily favored to win. My prediction is that this game won't be close, as Northport will likely control the game, resulting in a high-scoring game.
