1421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 03, 2023, 11:00:27 AM
I did 2/3 tonight, good bet for me. I hope it will always be like this.

@jakelyson congrats bro.
@YuginKado congrats bro 3/4.  Our Denver bets have lost.

Congrats to you too!

I am not sure about the Lakers and Philly bet but thankfully it hits!

The Lakers are a little bit shaky lately and the 76ers lost to the Pelicans last time, but I know both of these teams can win any given day. Took the risk and got rewarded.

I won on the Philly bet but lose on the Lakers. it's a 1-1 for me but still lose due to the juice. I lose my trust on the Lakers but they are suddenly playing very well, they lose to Hornets on their home, they just bounce back.

Only 3 games tomorrow.

3 games but all great games.

I'm leaning on the Thunder +8.5 and Jazz -2.5, they should break their losing streak.
1422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 03, 2023, 10:24:39 AM

Yeah, another one for the books this season, when they thought that they have won the game, Mitchell find his zone and they closely chirp that lead and he was short of just 2 rebounds to make it a triple double and bested what Luka did.

This season is a whole bunch of surprises causes these young lads are doing great even when they've not yet reached the championship games. After all, it's all about the team and I think this is the new trend nowadays hopefully we see someone breaking those records in this same season as well. They are focusing on one single player and looks like it works very well nowadays Luka is proving it right where he scored 40+ points in his past few games this season. rather than making some incredible stats for every single player in the starting lineups, everyone focuses to give their star player the assists he deserves.

Mitchell had 71 points, that's extraordinary, he was like the Kobe Bryant of the LA Lakers during Kobe's prime years. We will surely remember that, he has become more comfortable playing with the Cavaliers and just like the Warriors, they are good in defending their home.
1423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the motives that drive you to gamble? on: December 31, 2022, 01:40:38 PM
Mostly for fun purpose only. I have tried to be serious player on the gambling sites where mystarted very new in the beginning I thought I am going to hit bigger goals, make myself fortune
and keep growing it to set myself free from the financial issues. However, soon I understood that
it's not easy job at all. The more harder you try to win the more it takes from your side. From Then onwards I gamble very Casual If there are any promotions then I will take the opportunity to invest on that promo but still play casually. Somehow it gives me more winning and fun. I have reduced my time on gambling a lot but that is also for fun

I'm not going to wonder why gambling brings a lot of people to gamble because like you, they also think about hitting the jackpot and making themselves rich overnight if they got lucky. Like in the lottery, many people got crazy about it but unfortunately, only a few lucky people got to win the jackpot, yet most of them just easily lose their money in their hands.

But I think we need to change that idea and yes, consider this as a pleasure, not a source of income. Maybe in this way, this could help to stop addiction.
1424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 31, 2022, 12:26:50 PM
How about LeBron James tonight. Even Kevin Durant had to tweet about the performance for the old guy. He put up 47 points on 66% shooting from the field and 75% from 3-point range to go along with 10 rebounds and 9 assists. A shame he didn’t get that last assist for the triple double just for the extra effect. Great to see the second oldest guy to touch the court this year still getting it done.

To be honest, I bet against the Lakers as I think that the Hawks are going to win at their homecourt. They even take a good 10 point lead if I'm not mistaken in the first half. But suddenly Lebron has that one of the nights wherein he is on the zone, almost a triple double.

Still though the record of Kareem is for Lebron to break this season, the way he is scoring and playing at high level even at his 20th season, could be the one of the greatest achievement in NBA this season.

I don't see that coming too. I was in the impression that Hawks will protect their home court crowd, but LeBron comes out and bring
the challenge in his shoulder.

What a nice gift to himself in his 38th birthday, I see in him that he's really aiming to break Kareem's record and that's not by far with
how he is playing the game.

Stat's wise he's really capable in breaking that record.

Age is just a number for Lebron, I also lose my bet in this game as I was thinking it will be an easy win for the home team. Just like how the Heat beat the Lakers, I was thinking of the same outcome, unfortunately, it was the other way around. Congrats to Lebron, he still look like he is on his prime, his production this season just prove that he still has a lot left in his tank.
1425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: December 31, 2022, 11:44:38 AM
So he might go with Thurman here, I think it will be good to include Thurman in his resume as well. He has a lot already, Danny Garcia, Ugas, Porter, and if he can add Thurman in his resume, it looks like he has clean the division not name Crawford.

The only way to declare him as the best in this division is if he can beat Crawford. It's his biggest rival and probably his biggest fear too because it seems like he is not willing to give a chance for this big fight to happen. Instead of getting into an undisputed fight, he chooses a challenger which is Thurman.
1426  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading With Borrowed Funds!!! on: December 31, 2022, 07:59:11 AM
It is true that some people have become rich through crypto trading in the recent times. But considering the high risk involved in trading, do you think it's proper/wise to trade with borrowed funds as your capital irrespective of your trading experience?
They say to succeed in life you need to be prepared to take the risk, and the riskier the task is, the higher the reward! So basically borrowed or not borrowed trading is risky business which requires a trader to have the skill and experience. If skill/experience isn't there, then simply just don't trade.. Let's keep practicing to perfect the art.
I can't tell if a trader had started trading with full of knowledge and skills because for sure they are started only knowing the basics. Yes, trading is a risky business but we never grow and know trading if we keep being afraid of losing our money. We can never call ourselves experienced traders or experts in the said field if we never suffer losses and frustrations as it is all part of the learning process and success. But it was preferred to start trading using your own money just to avoid any problem if ever we lose our capital.
1427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The reason Dogecoin could fail in the future on: December 31, 2022, 05:33:09 AM
I think Dogecoin is a very strong project and the main point is that a Alon musk support of this project so they show that it will be a successful project in future.
According to my experience is that one the market situation is good so the project definitely achieve their goals.
so what's the reason you say doge project is very strong? even though we all know that doge is just a meme coin without any utility.
is it just because of elon support? I think that could be a weakness for doge if one day elon goes bankrupt or loses interest in crypto. I think a strong project is a project that grows and grows bigger because all communities are not just one person. but apart from that problem I am very amazed at doge and appreciate it because currently only doge coin memes are consistently ranking up and currently doge is ranked 8th CMC (very extraordinary)
Perhaps you are wrong in your assumption that Doge is just a meme coin and no utilities. It survives and remains one of the top coins in the market because of support from the community. FYI, some traders are using this platform because of its low fees compared to Bitcoin and ETH, which give them value.

https://cointelegraph.com/blockchain-for-beginners/dogecoin-doge-vs-ethereum-eth-the-ultimate-comparison
https://www.investopedia.com/terms/d/dogecoin.asp

Without Elon Musk, Dogecoin will remain on the market. I'm not going to say it was a strong coin and highly recommendable for investment but I still know that some investors will not giving up Dogecoin even in the future.
1428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin isn't dying, it's alive. on: December 30, 2022, 02:55:24 PM
Until now the price of bitcoin and altcoins is at its lowest point and we do not know when this will end, all investors are under great pressure and some of them have given up on the current situation, but believe me everything will return to normal and the market recovery will return to happen then never panic because the situation as we have often faced in the past year, never let go of our investment when we are experiencing losses we still have to survive because there are big surprises that we will feel in the coming year, now we have to find a way so that all the losses we feel can get bigger profits again.
I understand how they feel, especially newcomers but I know they will overcome that situation and still have faith in Bitcoin. This is not the first we have a hard time with crypto which is why we don't have to give up and think negatively for this will soon get over and turn bullish once again. As long as we still hold our Bitcoin, nothing will lose on us but if we sell them because we are warry with the future condition of the market, that was really a big mistake ever made.
1429  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As a newbie I stay off shitcoin and it paid off, Bitcoin is the king. on: December 30, 2022, 02:05:06 PM
Perhaps, it was very important to know the consequences of choosing shitcoins for investments when instead there are several potential coins in the market like Bitcoin. That is why I encourage newbies to keep on learning and never be afraid to ask questions if this is the only way to help them know what is the best coin to invest with. Because the more we keep on silent, the more we got prone to get scammed and screwed up by scammers.
If we are new in the market, better to focus on investing in Bitcoin alone - that was the safest way, I think than risking to altcoins.
1430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino bonus is it worth it? on: December 30, 2022, 08:03:05 AM
I agree. The casinos should be very careful with those welcome bonuses as the cheaters and abusers create different accounts just to take profit from those bonuses.Casinos though are one step ahead than the cheaters and they put wagering requirements which rarely you can pass them before withdrawing so that is being used as a tool to stop abusers because if the bonuses had no wagering requirements the casinos would have no way to forbid cheaters from abusing these bonuses.
Casinos are very aware of the dangers that giving a high welcome bonus can entail for them, after all they give those bonuses to try to bring gamblers to their website and gain them as long term clients.

And while there are some users out there that would like to abuse their offers, the wager requirements they attach to those bonuses basically guarantee that it is almost impossible for the average gambler to successfully cheat them, and when you add KYC policies and the tracking of suspicious accounts this takes care of the rest.

That bonuses has terms that still favors the gambling site, it's not an easy money because there are rollover requirements that we have to comply before we can finally withdraw the bonus, before it will happen, we will already run out of bankroll. I'm not saying it's impossible to win but most likely we will  lose as gambling site or casinos do always have the edge over us.

just enjoy it, don't think too much like making a living in gambling because it will never happen.
1431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: December 30, 2022, 07:42:04 AM
Yup, If Ryan will take Tank down, he will climb to the next level of his career, but I doubt Tank will give him that easy access, Tank will do
everything not to give the young fella that chance.

But we know that inside this sport, upset is always possible. We will expect an entertaining exchange of punches from these two gentlemen,

I'm assuming to see a good KO finished whoever wins. Both deserve to earn the praise for each fan who will support this fight.

This fight if pushed through, will not go the full twelve rounds as either boxer will fall facing the canvass hehe.

Both have knockout power, Davis has the advantage experience-wise but Garcia also got the size advantage which will offset that experience of Davis if used properly.

Ryan Garcia is waiting in the wings for this fight and as a fight fan, i do hope that Davis will overcomes all the hurdle he has right now both inside and outside the ring for this fight to come to realization.

The size advantage of Ryan Garcia is a huge advantage, in terms of quickness,  he is also quick so that will offset with the quickness of Davis. It would only boils down to who would hit a clean punch first and let's see if that will result to a KO , because if not, that means they will be able to absorb their opponents power and this fight will go an exciting 12 rounds.
1432  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tutored or you learned how to trade? on: December 29, 2022, 09:46:37 PM
Just like you OP, I also learn online at first but I also consult some trusted friends in regard to trading and their best practices as well. But I see the difference when someone accompanies you in trading, you can learn faster and could understand thoroughly, unlike if you just rely on what you have read and seen on the internet. You can find it hard when doing an actual trade and it was totally different from online tutorials. In fact, some people using demo accounts are also got in troubled during actual trade because of different scenarios, and yes, that also includes decision-making in different situations.
1433  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding could be better on: December 29, 2022, 09:07:58 PM

My advice to traders that are losing is to still continue to trade, but using just 20% while 80% should go into holding. What do you people think about this? Out of 100% fund, what percentage can you advice a trader to use?
Since I was in here and taking the risk, I'd use 100% of the funds to trade as a trader. Why we should hold if the purpose of being here is to trade? We can never call ourselves if we are doing that (holding). Of course, it doesn't mean that we use the entire amount in a single trade, you'll somehow hold some for the next trade.

The only thing that I could say is that - make use of all of your money if you wanted to enjoy as a trader otherwise, you are not a trader but rather call yourselves a holder. And if ever you fail, then have no option but to stop trading and just go to holding as a normal investor does.
1434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 29, 2022, 01:14:12 PM
Unfortunately, the Pelicans failed to cover the 7-point handicap. They won just by 1 point, 119-118.
They are lucky they won the game, it was the Wolves who are controlling the game, they just had a good run in the 4th quarter that's why they got that win. I'm lucky I'm on the road team, so it's okay for me to lose because I got the + points.

Congratulations to GSW backers, they are really a monster when defending home. They are now 15-2 at home after their win against Utah Jazz, 112-107.
Didn't expect this one, they seemed very devoted in defending their home, no KT, still not problem because they are contributing well.
1435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 29, 2022, 12:29:40 PM
The Utah Jazz lost again in what could've been a winnable game. They were leading most of the time against the defending champion GSW. I am now expecting the Jazz management to exploit some of its players that performed well despite this rebuilding period. Lauri Markannen and probably Jordan Clarkson too are players that can be traded in exchange for future first-round draft picks where the Jazz has been collecting a lot already.
I think they will not be traded, I read rumors about the Jazz keeping Clarkson, they will be their leader and he has a very outstanding season so  far. Yes, they loss this game, but a team that is expected to tank this season has a decent 19-18 record this season.

Have you guys already cast your votes for the coming NBA All-Star? Is Lauri Markannen finally getting his first All-Star appearance?

I have not voted yet, but I will vote for Clarkson to be in the all star.
1436  Other / Off-topic / Re: Mistakes Successful People Never Make Twice on: December 28, 2022, 12:57:41 PM
We succeed not only because we correct our mistakes in the past, it just happens that we did things that would open our minds and lead us to the right path.
Honestly, there is no way to become perfect, even though we think about it several times and it is because we are born with that structure. We don't need to be afraid of committing mistakes but rather consider this as a way to become mature when it comes to decision-making. If we commit mistakes today, definitely we commit the same mistakes again. We can avoid them somehow unless we memorize them all.

1437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 28, 2022, 10:34:08 AM
Bay Area has silenced the crowd, they are controlling the game now with 14 points lead in the 2nd quarter.

43-29 is the score now.

Cheer up guys, Ginebra never say die team, they will come back for sure.
1438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 28, 2022, 10:08:46 AM
~snip~
Tired as hell and needs a recovery beer, that's what he said in the post game interview. Just wow! The game, the performance, and those hail mary threes they made down the stretch when they're down by 3 possessions. Whoever was watching this game, you guys just witnessed history.
Luka is indeed got some magic in his hands. How could he possibly sink that last second deliberate missed free throw and the follow up? Lol, it was like the play was designed for him to put the game in OT.
60/21/10 a tough act to follow especially for a PG. A center or a PF may beat this, but then again, it will never be easy.
Yeah, I consider myself lucky for watching the full game on television live. That was one heck of a game and I doubt I could easily forget this day.
Also, I don't think it will be broken in years, if there is one maybe Jokic could, but it will be a difficult and tiresome feat.

And have you seen how shocked he is when the reporter said he made 60 points? Luka asked, 60?  Cheesy He didn't even know. He just kept working his ass and never looked at the stats line.
I am sure damn lucky I am alive to witness this kind of event, who knows if it will ever happen again.

Luka will one day win an MVP award, the kind of passion he is showing is remarkable and his team is just keeps improving. Now, they have a good PF in the person of Christian Wood, it should be easy for them to be in the playoffs and will give their opponents a hell of a competition.
1439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advantage of accepting bitcoin in business on: December 28, 2022, 06:06:59 AM
Cryptocurrencies have always been talked about in social media and I think they are already gaining more knowledge and doing research. For now, we can say that the adoption was slow but seeing a growing number of establishments who open their door to accept Bitcoin as another option for payment, is something overwhelming and can also affect others business organizations.

I couldn't find if there is a huge advantage to accepting Bitcoin but this will somehow give some comfort to our customers who are also crypto user/s.
Well, it is a least we are moving forwards to digitalization despite the risks.
1440  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am Bullish On Bitcoin Despite Bear market on: December 27, 2022, 10:53:24 PM
I once listened to a lecture where the speaker said “the best time to invest is when everyone else is too scared to do it and the best time to sell is when everyone is hyped to buy”. In my opinion the bear market is always a good time to buy bitcoins if you are hodling long term. The perfect time to enter the market is futile because the perfect market conditions may never come. Ultimately you get a good feeling knowing you bought low when the bull seasons kicks off
" Buy Low and Sell High" is what we should put into our minds. Investing seems too easy to think but many of us are not consistent with the simple strategy that I've mentioned, many have gone far and emotionally stressed when the market price never increases after buying. In fact, as we observe the movement of the whales, they take advantage of the situation while the community is in panic and full of fear. Whales catch all of their coins as they sell them at low prices.
It was to say they not all are capable to handle stress and can manage their emotions. Many had often changed their minds after seeing the chart and then decide without thinking twice.
