1081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: April 27, 2023, 07:18:42 AM
@bbc.reporter, this is a championship fight where Inoue is the challenger. I don't think a rematch clause is necessary unless both are champions. Maybe in favor of Fulton, if he loses, he could get a rematch since he is the defending champion. But if he wins here, then they will not fight again, unless Inoue improves and wins consistently and they will meet in a new division.

I'm just stating the possibilities, although most of us believe that Inoue will easily win this fight. But what if he loses?

At least we know what would happen in his future.
1082  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 27, 2023, 06:54:56 AM
Congratulations, @yahoo62278!

That's a nice parlay win. It would have been bigger if you took the Miami Heat moneyline, but it's still a decent win. You know, we don't win parlays all the time, so winning one is already a huge success.

That's the kind of parlay where I would say you played it safe. Congratulations again!
1083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: April 26, 2023, 09:24:40 PM

For Casimero, should be a tune-up fight for him if the goal is to be included in the contender's list. Being defeated by a non-popular boxer and unranked like Nghitumbwa means Casimero is nowhere within the level of the top-ranked boxers at 122 lbs division. Although I don't see it happening.

The worst thing that could happen to Casimero is if he takes this fight lightly. An unknown fighter could upset a popular fighter, but let's hope it doesn't happen. What we'd like to see is Casimero having an impressive win, preferably via knockout in the early rounds. There's lots of speculation about what could happen in this fight, but if we look at Nghitumbwa's real chances based on paper, it's certainly close to none.
1084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 26, 2023, 08:30:18 PM
I'm going completely against the grain tonight.  Taking all the toad dogs.

Atlanta +13 lol.  Why not.

Clippers -12.5. Russ masterclass incoming lol.

Timberwolves ML.  Seriously...

This might completely blow up in my face but have we ever had a 3 game playoff night with all the games being 20 point blowouts?  Against the wall someone has to show up right?  Right?.  Will probably regret this but hey how maybe not Smiley

Enjoy the games people!

Good luck, man! You already have one win with Atlanta +13. You should have gone with the moneyline.

Regarding the Wolves, they have a decent chance since they are currently leading the game. It looks like the Nuggets are struggling to close this game, but let's see; the game is not over yet.

As for the Clippers -12.5, that's too ambitious. What are the betting odds for that one?

It was actually plus +12.5 spread last night.

Tonight got my picks in.

Laying hard on the Knicks +5.5
Taking the heat +12.  Think it's a trap bet but gotta ride the hot ticket.
Laying hard on Memphis -4.  Home cooking.
And taking golden state ML.  Was tough to bet on them but fox with a fractured figer on his shooting hand is going to be tough to overcome.

Enjoy the Knicks.  Knicks in 5! Knicks in 5! Knicks in 5! 😀

I love your picks, especially the Memphis -4 as we could really see some home cooking here. The issue in the playoffs is more on ref blaming as if they are favoring the home team, so yeah, why not ride on that as well. Memphis games are always fun to watch due to the swagger of the team, not only Ja Morant, so this might only be their last win in the series before the LA Lakers eliminate them on their home court.

Additionally, I'll also tail on the Warriors. They are a bad team on the road, but I'll skip that for this particular game.
1085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco - May 20 on: April 25, 2023, 01:38:57 PM
Only time can answer that for us, but one thing is for sure, we are in for a good interesting fight because I don't actually believe that Lomachenko is already done. He may have a slight struggle on his return but that is understandable as any boxer will somehow adjust first to try and find their usual rhythm, even them knows that they aren't performing their usual performance. So this time, we might see a different Loma compared to the last fight he had.

I hope Lomachenco will perform just like when he is at his peak.  I really wanted to see Devin Haney lose to Lomachenco, although I know that it is kinda hard to fulfill since Haney is young and much bigger than Loma.  Aside from that Devin Haney is a good defensive player and I believe Devin Haney will capitalize on the reach advantage by throwing jabs to hinder the tempo of Lomachenco.  If Devin Haney dictate the phase in this fight, it will be very slim for Loma to win the fight due to the given advantages.

The odds is not saying that though, it seems that Loma is not the favorite going into this fight. He is not getting younger and then his performance against Ortiz is not to be hold. And then he is facing a young and a prime boxer in Haney, who might have all the tools, height, reach, defensive prowess. The only thing that lacks in the power.

However, I will say that Loma is going to be a live dog, it might be hard for them. But if he trains very hard and just peak on time, I mean the timing is right that during the fight he might have a second wind and then bring back his old self even for just a couple of rounds, the outcome might be very different and who knows, he can win in the judges card if this fight goes to distance.

Honestly, I don't think it's a good idea for Loma to bring the results to the judges and expect a win. Devin Haney is in his prime, fights like Mayweather, and I would expect him to have an edge when it comes to points scoring.

Since Loma is the older boxer, I hope he has great tactics to win and maybe even knock out Haney, so the judges don't have to dictate the outcome of the fight.

According to the stats on https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/741718, Haney is not a knockout artist, with only 15 KO wins out of a total of 29 fights. Therefore, most of his wins are by decision after 12 rounds.
1086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 25, 2023, 01:21:28 PM

- Kawhi Leonard will be out for Game 5 as well because of the same injury. I hope that the Clippers will trade him next season because nothing happened with this team since him and PG came.

I'd like to reply to this specific comment. I agree with you, mate. Kawhi Leonard has become an injury-prone player. But honestly, if he is healthy, I think there's a huge chance he can take his team to the Finals.

We've seen how Leonard played in Game 1 - he was nearly unstoppable, and his shots were very accurate. Now, the Clippers are playing without their two superstars, and it will be all Westbrook show. But since they're in a do-or-die situation, I don't think Phoenix will give them another day.

This will be over in five.
1087  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Signals vs Own Analysis on: April 25, 2023, 01:54:57 AM
It's important to understand that there is no magic formula or signal group that can guarantee 100% accuracy in trading. As you mentioned, it's all about making use of multiple signals and analyzing the charts to make informed decisions. It's good that you have adjusted your approach and are taking the time to analyze the market yourself, rather than solely relying on signals from others. It's also worth noting that trading requires discipline and patience, and it's important to have a clear strategy in place before entering any trades.
Until now, many people made a bad approach to trading, they simply then think it was too easy to make money from here and that it is possible to even without knowledge. But the truth is that - all of their presumptions are wrong and they will realize it after experiencing losses.
That is why it is encouraged to make our own analysis rather than relying on the trading signal in order to further enhance our knowledge and market view as well. Because the more we engage in the crypto market, the more gain knowledge, and of course, we can make our own strategies which is a ticket to our success.
1088  Economy / Economics / Re: Concers About Going in Business with a Friend on: April 24, 2023, 10:16:48 PM

On the other hand, there are many success stories of friends who went into business together and succeeded to together. If you have ever gone into business with a friend, what were your biggest concerns and how did work through it.
You should also know his lifestyle and how it changes when you are in business together because this will also affect how he manages his finances and it is possible that he/she touches the company's money once got compromised. Because it happens that many business partners got broke due to uncountable expenses that is why it is very important you are also transparent with each other. And I will tell you that it was hard to communicate with someone, your partner when he/she hides something. A reason why we should choose our business partners so well is not just to be a friend but kinda being like a family so you were open to each other and communicate properly.
1089  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if BTC won't see ATH again? on: April 22, 2023, 12:07:22 PM
The words "what if" are something I don't like. People usually come out with such assumptions and worries about the future, I feel it from OP.
But here are the things
 - Bitcoin will never reach another ATH if people never hold their coins but rather be an active trader buying today and selling tomorrow.
 - a decrease in market demand causing its price to drop because people are buying more on altcoins when halving is coming.

But can't just sweep away the chance that it surpasses the previous ATH as it actually happens last 2021 while breaking the $20k ATH, and so most of us are expecting to break again 2 years from now.

1090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Bitcoiner still support the use of centralized exchanges? on: April 22, 2023, 11:35:57 AM
Because the market is flooded with centralized exchanges and they've been thinking that they are safe and anonymous ( which is unfortunately not).
Whatever their reasons are, as long as these centralized exchanges still exist in the crypto space, you can't ask these people not to support and use this platform as they certainly are.

And to be honest, I was one of these people who believe in and trust centralized exchanges because I was been comfortable using this.
They are not safe perhaps that is why I'd never keep my funds in them for a long period of time.
1091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: April 22, 2023, 10:39:36 AM
i play slots hoping to win 'big win' or 'jackpot' but many times it don't hits and my balance get drained after betting many times in one slot machine. i play more bets hoping it already took my so much balance it will definitely going to hit this times, but it never happens, and my balance becomes "0".
I have never participated in slots and spin games for gambling. I mainly bet on sports betting. I don't bet much but sometimes I bet on my favorite team games. You look really experienced in slot games. But I see you participate here with a lot of greed. If you play the game with greed like this, you will see that you have done a lot of damage. You can lose all your possessions one day while waiting to win the jackpot.
I do feel not greedy but it was a kind of chasing the jackpot prize and OP thinks that if he bets more, the more chances it could be. But as we know it was slot games, pure luck-based games, no matter how many best we did this will never increase our chances to win instead, the higher chance of losing. Because in this kind of game, the percentage of winning is very small, unlike in sports betting where we actually have an idea of which team has a bigger odds and chance to win the game.
1092  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: after listening to manupulation, i think in this way on: April 22, 2023, 06:55:43 AM
Many times we see in news and articles about market manipulation, after that i think, why this trend lines and indicators matters,

do institutions are also following indicators and trend lines? yes, manipulation but that manipulation is for liquidity grab.

but after all they also predict by trend lines and indicators? why trend lines matters?
That is all you can see in the market and traders make this a factor decide of what they gonna do next. It really matters of course as it gives us traders hints as to rather go along with the trend created by these manipulators rather than go against it.
If you are exposing yourselves to trading, you can really say how important it was in dealing with this volatile market. Too hard to predict without basis and so with the help of these things charts, trade lines, etc...you'll somehow make way better at achieving your goal.
1093  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin and Gambling on: April 22, 2023, 02:44:48 AM
Investing into something that we really don't have an idea about is like gambling and the chances are 50/50. I'm sure nobody like to do it but unfortunately, it happens to many people who underestimate crypto. A person who is aiming to earn a profit in Bitcoin must never think about luck but instead, make a way how to get out of it because we can actually make money from Bitcoin if we really want to. Because there are no such losses happening in investing if we know what we are doing and find ways to improve. Unlike gambling as no matter what we do if we are not lucky, it is certain we loss.
1094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: April 22, 2023, 02:07:12 AM
Gambling doesn't give assurance but I know it was possible however if we are talking about daily, well, that is somewhat difficult, maybe trading does.
Honestly, no matter what you gonna do, you'll never win every day. That is why don't get false hope into gambling as it was hard to make living from here and stop chasing $100 daily as it only leads you to addiction and regrets.
Thus, if you wanted to grow your $2k, never make gambling as a medium for that, better look for an investment, there is Bitcoin instead.
1095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH vs BTC future growth potential on: April 21, 2023, 09:13:11 PM
In my opinion, both Bitcoin and Ethereum are valuable assets that even beginners can purchase without much consideration due to their reputation in the crypto market. Compared to other alternative cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin and Ethereum have the lowest risk as they have survived in the market for a long time. While many coins have come and gone, these two have remained stable. Therefore, it's advisable to invest in both, either by having faith in one or buying an equal proportion of both even though both have good future growth potential.

I'm not an expert, but I understand why bitcoin is a commodity and not a security. For me this is extremely important. I only seek to invest in commodities, as a long term store of value. If any other coin ever qualifies as a commodity, I hope to find out here as soon as possible. But in that regard I think BTC is and always will be one of a kind.
Bitcoin is the only one that could provide such security though not 100% but at least it was higher than altcoins, nothing else. And if you are trusting this project and have faith, you'd better not bother yourself to look for another as certainly, you will never find any. However, might keeping ETH is not really a good choice in the long-term but can't deny the fact that it was also one of the most promising altcoins in the market and seems to have a big role to play in the crypto space which I believe that it will still exist in the market for many years.
1096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment involves being realistic, doesn't it ? on: April 21, 2023, 12:19:44 PM
It's true. Nowadays the market fluctuates again and many have faced losses, including me. I bought Bitcoin and some other altcoins when the prices were high and unfortunately they all dropped dramatically. The good thing is that I don't panic that much because I am confident that bull market will arrive soon, hopefully this second-half year. Of course enhancing our knowledge is a must and we should do this every single day.
We just lose if we sell them when the price drop but if we can still manage to hold them until the time it recovers, profit is not impossible. Unfortunately, it was not happening all time because most of the time we have been beaten up by our emotions and worries thinking negatively -" What if it never rises back?"
We have usually been fooled by our own judgments and decisions. To dumb to say but honestly, I experience losses as well due to emotions. And many people have been in this situation even though we know that after the corrections, there is always recovery.
1097  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: April 21, 2023, 11:45:33 AM
Talking about me personally there are things that I would do in both cases. Reading the terms and conditions at first place would have avoided both the issues.

1. Reading T&C we would have known that there is KYC and if there is any such process then it's better off to clear the KYC at first place and then gamble on the site.

2. Reading T&C we would have known if the bonus is active or not and if yes then we can raise a scam accusation against it.
If the bonus was supposed to be expired then we could make the deposit accordingly.

In my early years of engagement with gambling casinos, I often disregard reading the Terms and Conditions but upon reading too many accusations and cases where the player is ignorant of the Casino policy, I now always read the platform's policy, especially the KYC conditions and if ever I see their Terms and Conditions to be reasonable, I will continue my registration but if it is vague I'll just skip the platform to avoid future problems.  It is really essential to read the Casino policy on deposits, bonuses, and withdrawals so that we won't get caught unaware of things that should have been avoided if we have learned the casino policy before depositing and playing on the platform.

There's this common thing many gamblers made as mistakes which is their inpatient in reading each casino's terms and conditions before enrollment, gamblers then follow up to agitate on any unusual encounter with casinos whereby such does not work in their favour but would have been well stated on their policy, another thing is not only joining a new casino that matters but having reliability in them not to turn scam base on our research about them and their past experience with other gamblers, all these were what should be table together and looked into in other to have a nice gambling experience and not to fall into hands of scammers in gambling.
And it happens to me oftentimes even though I know that it only takes a few minutes to read the rules. However, in today's situation, we are also aware that KYC is somewhat mandatory in major gambling sites especially when withdrawing huge amounts. So I think OP should not be surprised by such a thing, he should able to anticipate it even if it was not asked already. Because of now, it was hard to assume that there are sites that don't require KYC as they are also protecting their reputation when it comes to money laundering and any illegal activities.
1098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: April 21, 2023, 01:41:08 AM
Knowing Casimero, he will be there, I mean, he will hype his name using a social media platform. It's his way of promoting a fight and bring the attention.

Maybe he's working harder to bring explosive outcome in this upcoming fight. He wants something to bring a good hype to his name.

While he can hype the fight, there's no need to hype it too much if it will happen in the Philippines because it's sure to be a sold-out crowd. Since it's not a championship fight yet, it does not deserve to take place in the US. Although there's no official statement yet on the venue, I'm speculating that it will happen in Casimero's home country, and he'll certainly be more inspired fighting in front of his fellow Filipinos.
1099  Other / Off-topic / Re: Prepare for the life when you get old on: April 20, 2023, 12:05:05 PM
People no longer think if today but only think of tomorrow because it is a major priority of every human
So long as you alive
It's the opposite that I know of from the community that I'm living in. They think that we only live once and that's why they enjoy the things that they can enjoy today through pleasures and never think of what's about to happen by tomorrow. They never think about their future and that's why the most important thing to them is present which is actually true but their approach and way of demonstrating it is in the wrong ways.
Yeah, we only live once and that's why we need to prepare and be better with the future that's heading to once because we'll never know if the same ways of living will still be in the future or we can still enjoy by that time or we'll face a lot of troubles and problems because of our ignorance today in saving, investing and preparation.

Agreed and sad to see so many people misinterpret or try to distort the real meaning of it. I have no idea if there is any correlation between being rich and planning for the future but most rich people in my big family are very frugal and they always plan for the future. They don't complain about "live in the present", "enjoy the moment"  because they all have clear goal of what kind of life they are envisioning and how to get it. On the contrary, the less fortunate people who barely make ends meet tend to spend most spare money on leisure and keep saying "we only live once". I used to explain the meaning to them but not any more. It's just impossible. We only live the way we choose.
Poor mindset will never think about their future because what they are just being rich today and enjoying life while still alive while minding out what will happen when they are not capable enough to work. It is contrary to the rich mindset, they are preferred to sacrifice their happiness today but later part when they become financially stable, that was the time they travel around the world enjoying life worrying nothing as they have money to come into their pocket even if they don't work.
1100  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is going down. on: April 20, 2023, 09:13:06 AM
Hello everyone.
As you can see, bitcoin is going down and I believe that it will keep falling.
As I explained in my last posts, this Bitcoin rise wasn't sustainable. There are literally no reasons for Bitcoin to go up now.

So I want to remain you guys again that right now is not the time to buy bitcoin.
Inflation is still high, interest rates are still getting higher, FED is not planning to stop any time soon, and the economy is suffering. All these reasons won't let Bitcoin rise from the ashes YET. But I believe we will see the end of it this year, probably in Q4.

So I recommend holding on to your cash/stablecoins right now and waiting for the signals to buy Bitcoin.
And as always, the best signals to look for: FED start cutting rates. When this will happen, it will mean that economy will start recovering soon so it's a great time to buy anything you want before crypto and the stock market will go up.

Have a nice day and take care.
Well, I could assume that you are right but never I think how an investor will say that Bitcoin has NO reason to grow. If you are a stablecoins holder, I suggest you just focus on it and never talk negatively about Bitcoin because whether you like it or not, people never think about if it is the perfect time to buy or not, what is important for them is they have Bitcoins in their wallet ready for the next Bullrun. Besides, we are not even sure what will happen a few days from now, and remember that the market is unpredictable and it pumps without telling anyone.
