1121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: April 13, 2023, 02:23:13 AM

I have no expectations from Casimero's opponent because he is an unknown fighter, but I am more interested in how Casimero will deliver an impressive win. However, as you said, Casimero should not be careless and underestimate his opponent. If the result is not in his favor, it could potentially affect his future journey. Remember that he wants to be a champion again, and the only way for that to happen is if he keeps winning fights.

That's true, but let's hope that Nghitumbwa will not be a different fighter in the ring. His records indicate that he is an aggressive fighter, but sometimes boxers change their style when they face a superior opponent. This fight is going to be entertaining, and we are expecting to see Casimero face a challenging fight. So, Nghitumbwa better live up to that challenge.
1122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco - May 20 on: April 13, 2023, 02:02:58 AM

I had watched Mayweather's fights, and like you said, he's boring to watch as hell. Like he is more defensive than offensive. You don't see him throwing punches more often, but he is waiting for his opponent to lose his patience, throw punches, and slowly countering him until such time that he can knocked that opponent down.

On the other hand, it's boring, but that made him undefeated in professional boxing (disregard those troll fights where he will fight celebrities). Even the 8-time division champion Pacquiao lost against him (controversial though). How "Tank" Davis fights in the ring is way better than Mayweather even though he mentored him for almost a decade now. Davis got the defensive skills of Mayweather, but at the same time, he's an explosive fighter and throws a lot more, and stronger punches.

Haney and Mayweather's way of fighting is almost the same that's why the fight between Haney and Kambosos Jr. (first fight) became one of the most boring fights I've ever watched to the point that I slept while watching the fight.
In particular, I don't like this when they fight in a technical way, it makes me annoyed, because I see that they don't want to hurt each other and although the fight falls into a purely technical and intelligence sphere, I don't like it, and that makes it look boring, and obviously it is, when I establish a type of analogy with boxing in the Olympics that happens, and it is something that bothers me, I don't know if you Remember the case of the Japanese? that they gave him as the winner and he came out in wheelchairs while the opponent was normal, with normal tiredness but he was much better and for me he fought well, that's what I don't like, and that's how there are boxers.

Many people call Loma a technical fighter, but is he boring? The answer is a big NO. Loma has been entertaining to watch as he slowly dismantles his opponents. He may not be a good starter, but you can see how good he is once he spots the weakness of his opponents. Sometimes, he can even win via knockout. So, against Haney, I wouldn't be surprised if he wins by KO.
1123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: we don't have proper education on bitcoin. on: April 12, 2023, 12:11:18 PM
Please correct me if I am wrong
Even in today's modern world, except for a few people in Europe-America, the general public of the entire world does not have a proper understanding of Bitcoin. Sad Sad Except European-American, anyone who have a little idea about Bitcoin also have misconceptions. Due to this problem, many people are unable to invest in a great platform like Bitcoin even if they want to. This problem may not seem like a big deal to many, but think about third world countries. A sad reality is, in my country 80-90% of the population are not familiar with Bitcoin.
Is there any way to solve this problem?
I don't think it was a big deal because I know that not all are wanted to listen and are willing to learn about Bitcoin but rather keep believing on the FUDs and wrong information that they get from social media.
IF and IF all of us are open-minded and are willing to learn new things and innovations, it is probably most of us now are using and buying Bitcoin already. Unfortunately, even having financial literacy is hard to find for many people, I can imagine that was harder to educate these people about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
1124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't buy altcoins because they are top altcoins on: April 12, 2023, 11:50:44 AM

Every investor should keep in mind the fact that "no cryptocurrency stays at the top forever." If you want to invest, buy popular coins with the intention of selling them or converting them to bitcoin when their value soars. But, never hodl it for longer than a year or two because anything can happen during that time (such as an altcoin losing its value or fading out totally), leaving you at a loss.
Top coins will always gain more interest than new projects and if ever there is a drop in its rank certainly means something and that is a trust issue.
However, people don't just keep tops coins forever, they'll sure try some experience in buying new coins to compare which is more profitable. In a few years from now, changes will come and it was not because of the tough market competition but it is because the mindset of the investors had also changed. What matters for them is profit, not rank as we can't deny that the new project is more profitable but yes, it is too risky as most of them are scams.
1125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 12, 2023, 06:58:02 AM
Edwards played maybe his worst game ever.

I think this was the difference. Edwards was 0-9 from three point range. He also scored 15 points below his average. If he hits just 1 three pointer this game could have gone a different way. Maybe a young guy cracking under pressure? Whatever it was, the Lakers got lucky tonight. If they play like this going forward, their season might not last much longer.

The foul trouble problem of Towns was really a hindrance. If Gobert was there, the Wolves might not have struggled on the defensive side as Towns could rest while Gobert took care of the defense. The Wolves were outrebounded in this game, with an 11-rebound disparity in favor of the Lakers. This could be one of the major reasons as well.

Regarding Edwards, he likely won't have another bad game next time, so the Wolves could still make the playoffs.
1126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: April 12, 2023, 06:30:55 AM
TNT over 108 points - I think this bet is a good one too, especially since they didn't score well in game 1. If they make adjustments, they should be able to score their usual number of points. Alternatively, if this game becomes a tight one and goes into overtime, it would also favor the bet I chose.
I'm also thinking the same way to be safe, as Ginebra could win this game too. Just to be safe, it's better to bet on TNT's performance that they will improve their game. Or maybe I'll just wait for live betting opportunities as there are plenty of them to be seen.
1127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 11, 2023, 11:46:47 AM

I also don't want to give a finality of opinion on this fight as most of the time, it is the preparation that matters once inside the ring.
As both boxers are studying the weaknesses and strengths of each other, they will come up with a good plan or good training plan.
But we will only see if their plans and strategies will work once they are already fighting, because some plans can be scrape if it won't work on their opponent.
Over-all, this fight is gaining hype from boxing fans, so the likelihood of selling out gate tickets would be fast. But for most of us, we can just always wait for the live streaming.
Garcia is stil the underdog on this fight. So that would be a good motivation for him to train harder. The very reason why Davis should not take this fight for granted.

Being an underdog can be used as your motivation as you wanted to prove something, especially in the eyes of the fans. With how they throw trash talks together and you are facing the champ, inside him he really wanted to bring him down and be on top. Let see if how both of them will execute all the plan and preparation inside the ring.

Both can surprise the fans. Even Tank got the favor from the bookies, as he was the champ here, but Garcia can also bring something to upset him if the timing is right.

Garcia probably hasn't felt like an underdog before, as he has been mostly the favorite in his previous fights, if not all. So it's not a big deal to him. He will prove that he deserves bigger respect, and the only way to do that is to beat Tank Davis. Everyone is anticipating this big fight as it is the biggest fight that will happen this year so far.
1128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 11, 2023, 11:03:02 AM
The Wolves have to deal with their current situation. They have no choice but to fight and try to win despite being heavy underdogs. They had a better standing compared to the Lakers, but in their remaining games, they keep losing. Hopefully, they'll break that and stay positive.

The healthy Lakers versus the undermanned Wolves – I think we already know who will win.
1129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects come out when bull market begin. on: April 10, 2023, 09:58:28 PM
Everyone loves a bull market. All project owners think that launching the project during the bull market will be successful and from this thought they want to launch the project during the bull market.
But I think that if the project has the right objective then it will be successful in whatever market it is launched.

the price of the token will also rise so it's a good way to promote the new project at the same time.
in a way though scam projects use the same technique to make the new project look good for the newbies to invest and then it turns scam after the bull run.

they are getting few this 2023 though. people in the forum are fed up with them since. this time i think they will just have to be on social media where they still can scam.
Developers will take every opportunity that they can see to promote their project on social media, running bounty promotions, and even airdrops.
And they do everything just to gain attention and investors promise something good but in the end, they become scams, and this is what mostly happens during bull season. Many projects had come out and it hypes but after a few days, we just know that it was a scam already and investors are complaining.
That is why we should be careful and cautious in choosing new projects, they can't be trusted actually.
1130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: are you a long time hodler? on: April 10, 2023, 09:41:59 PM
as a fellow bitcoin investor, what strategies have you found to be most effective, to maximizing your returns while minimizing risk?

do you prefer to hold bitcoin for the long term or you actively trade based on market trends?
Holding is the easiest way to do in minimizing the risk. Like if you buy Bitcoin during the bear season, hold and wait for the next bull run - you are actually eliminating stress in your mind. It was not difficult as many people are saying if you are really committed to doing that and becoming certain of your goal.

and what resources or tools do you use to stay updated on the latest news and analysis related to bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies?(or you does not care about most of the news)
What I did is only check on the coinmarketcap to keep updated but never I check this daily as it will bother me when I saw drops. Weekly is good enough at least we are aware of the situation and besides, we are long-term holding.
1131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: April 08, 2023, 12:14:27 PM
It`s been said often enough, just to make sure, I will repeat it again - referral programs aren`t the same as affiliate programs, even though many people mix it up. Wink Even operators sometimes fail to realize that there is a difference. Wink

Anyway, are you guys aware of the fact there even are gambling affiliates that are listed on stock exchanges? Smiley Money can be made...  Wink
but most casino sites mix it up, after all, the work is the same, namely promoting referral links, it's just that the difference is in bonuses, usually affiliate links have bigger bonuses while referral links get less bonuses, but the way both of them work is the same, usually on sites the exchange doesn't mix it up only some casinos do mix it up, same or not that's for sure how it works the same  Wink
If you dont know on whats the difference about referral and affiliate. Here's some short read.
https://supermetrics.com/blog/referral-program-vs-affiliate-program

Overall it would really be just the same because not all context been state on the link given above where actually that precise yet we know that referrals arent those someone
who are close to you and also could be other person or random fellas which signed under you which do falls into the category of affiliate marketing but in
general or overall sense, it is really just the same.
But usually in a lot of casinos almost mix up affiliate and referral so that's what confuses many people so they don't know which affiliate program and referral program, to be honest I was never interested in any program from the casino because I was worried it would be a problem for my account, so I didn't would waste my time promoting my referral link, BTW thanks for the reading link  Wink

I thought they are the same i mean it is just called affiliate to other countries as well as referral but same meaning now i understand it but still i am not interested on it or if ever someone talks to me to sign up on a casino i would prefer sending my referral link but if no one I wouldn't be talking about to others to just used my referral. Anyways thanks for clarifying it
Both of them make money but most people don't mind it, why? Well, it is because all users use their own referral or affiliate links, not yours. In the end, nobody earns from those referrals. Maybe I was wrong or some might get money from it but this is not sustainable, after all, the next registrants will never use any links, they instead go directly to the site and create an account. That is why only a few got interested in this while the majority don't just think about it.
1132  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why will I always have faith in the potential of Bitcoin? on: April 08, 2023, 10:52:32 AM
I would say that just believe those things that you think it was believable and worthy.
I invest in Bitcoin because I have faith and trust that this will give me benefits and rewards someday and fortunately, it gives me more than what I think. People see the potentiality of Bitcoin and that is why they invest despite the risk. But don't get too dependent on this stuff, we can somehow become financially stable without Bitcoin as well.

And talking about adoption OP, it can take time (years) before we reach that level. Accepting Bitcoin is still on way far from getting the #1 payment option as only a few stores are accepting this across the globe.

1133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE surges as Twitter change its website icon to Doge on: April 08, 2023, 10:21:33 AM
There is no doubt that Elon Musk is one of the Dogecoin Whales, he and those people working on Twitter would have benefited greatly from these changes, this is pure market manipulation, it is even possible he bets in both directions before the logo was changed and after the logo was changed. Even a novice trader knows that when the logo was changed that the price is likely going to dump and this is one of the best short trades this year.
We could assume that Twitter benefits something but I know he earns more than Twitter. Because till now, we never know and actually don't have any idea how much Dogecoin he holds. However, I don't think this is the reason why he buys Twitter, might he use it as a medium to spread his influence and make people know his name? And I see how effective it was because despite the thing he did before, many people are still relying on his words and yes, that is exactly what we see now.
1134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do new online casinos struggle? on: April 08, 2023, 07:18:30 AM
Which one do you think is better and has more healthy growth for a new online casino?

Is it better for a new casino to take their time very slow with their project for the time being to be able to raise some money first and only attract users with banners and small advertisements?
Building trust with the community is not easy and it takes time. If they just wait for that and rely on the money they raise from new users or gamblers, they will grow quite very slowly. They are eventually losing a lot of time.

Quote
Or a new casino project should go all in on doing advertisements starting from their launch date with everything they've got?
Advertising materials could help a lot. If we wanted to grow our business and make known to the community, we should have to invest more in advertising. In fact, some owners are using influencers to promote their sites.
So, if we have limited resources and campaign materials, we no longer expect that we profit instantly, we wait for many years if we did nothing to help.
1135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How honest and transparent are casinos? on: April 08, 2023, 06:44:48 AM
Not sure if they are legit or truly giving it away but the problem is that they are gathering players from this style and yes there are almost every gambling site gives this kind of information and luring.
how I wonder that would be the actual reaction of each players that they think being fooled on that way, because for me there are no assurance if this is right and true.
so don't fall into promises instead make sure you are dealing with honest site and not just to lure and run .
Every business uses some marketing technique to attract customers, it can involve bonuses, giveaways, trials, and the list goes on. Now, the customer that joins that business needs to make sure that they get what they were promised before joining, and if they get that, they wouldn't have any issues whether the company or the project is paying others or not.

I think casinos with a good reputation don't really have anything to prove since everyone knows that they do pay the bonuses, etc. that they promise but the platforms that are relatively new in the market are probably questioned for not being honest enough with their customers.

Well, i can only say one thing here. With dishonesty, the casino may gain few gamblers but in the long term they will lose the players and their business cannot survive and grow
On the other hand, if the casino is honest, the gamblers will be retained, they won't look for a new better casino and hence it will be good for the long term business.

Now it's up to the casinos how they want to operate and be successful in a world where there is a lot of competition. If a gambling casino is found to be dishonest, I am afraid gamblers will leave the casino forever, and it's hard to regain the trust of the casino.
And TRUST is very important in casinos because gamblers won't stay and never use their platform or site if they know there is inconsistency and cheating, they going to leave and spread those things to others. So, if I am running a business like this why should I have to do that which in fact, we know that I was still profiting without cheating? I should care more about reputation and let trust built because it returns back good to us as well in the future.
1136  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mistakes small or big that will cause us a lot in the future on: April 07, 2023, 11:30:12 PM
Committing mistakes either small or big will always have consequences and so, if we have the option/way to avoid it, then we should have to do it. But honestly, not all things went perfectly, sometimes we get mistakes and learn from them. Should we have to worry about it? I guess not, as long as we are able to correct them and never let it happen again (as possible) we are already changing our directions. It is necessary to consider that our mistakes are the results of our wrongdoings and decisions, and so I believe it was not difficult to correct them.
1137  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading is perfect work for jobless peoples on: April 07, 2023, 01:16:21 PM
In life there are many peoples wants freedom and this is available in day training and not any restrictions that whenever and wherever you want to doing work
If we thing about that are in enjoying with your family there you are also allow to work as well and also enjoy
Also freedom from your Boss.
For me, it was not perfect work for jobless people but yes, it was considered an option. And I say this because I want them to know that trading is not suitable for impatient people, not the right place to stay for too emotional as I don't want them to think that it was the last to take and to help them out from being jobless. Because the truth is that trading is stressful, yet also profitable but many people had fail and possibly they can be like them. It was not trading only a solution, we can also run a business if we can.
1138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A crypto world without CEXs...How would it be? on: April 07, 2023, 12:46:30 PM
If we have the option to stop CEX from collapsing, I know we have to do it. But given that case, therefore, we leave no option but to use DEX. Should we think it was worrying, I guess not.
The crypto world without Centralized remains strong, it might cause a huge impact on the market but never I think it ended as people will start using decentralized exchanges as well. In fact, not all traders and investors are using CEXs. And despite this speculated scenario, still crypto remains legal unless is declared illegal in a particular place or country.
1139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez on: April 07, 2023, 02:06:09 AM
I would not say that Josh Taylor will definitely be the top contender for me in this match because Teofimo Lopez seems to have the upper hand in physical health. The extent of Josh Taylor's plantar fascia injury to the arch of his foot is being kept "undisclosed". The severity of the tear makes me doubt he will be able to keep on his feet as in the past. Especially because they refuse to talk about how bad the injury really was. Pain management alone will not be sufficient to keep up with Lopez's footwork. So far I see a red flag in betting on Taylor, which I would do if he was in top-fit-condition...

For sure the management wouldn't allow their boxer to suffer from disadvantage and to just lose like that, especially with an undefeated record. They'd more likely make sure things are okay because  this would be a big fight and is not something between two no-namer fighters. Lopez on the other hand even threw a claim that he would be knocking down Taylor, which clearly shows that he's confident with this fight. But in this fight I think Lopez has a bigger heart to come up a winner because he's the underdog, to climb the ranks and to open up a bigger opportunity if ever he would win this thing. Taylor is more likely not letting his rank slide especially because of a disadvantage, that easy. Would be interesting given how fast their careers have grown for a short period of time, in comparison with other fighters, simply showing how talented these boxers are. But still, I'd go with Lopez whom I think has a bigger drive.

Those are just rumors, though. He is fighting, and he has to make sure he is 100% ready to go toe to toe in the ring. If he has an undisclosed injury, that's not right because it's like he's robbing the fans, especially the bettors, who think that he is going to give his 100% to defeat Teofimo Lopez.

However, thanks to @goldkingcoiner for bringing that info. Although it's just a rumor, at least we know something about him that we can consider when making a decision on whom to bet.
1140  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Before You Go All In on: April 06, 2023, 09:55:03 PM
Start trading just after you are bringing in a certain amount of steady income. Take a percentage of this income, which could be $100, $500, or $1,000, and start your trading career. This will help your trading journey develop into a lovely experience in which you learn more quickly, peacefully, and at your own pace.

In the other words, start trading when you can afford to lose your money in any amount.
But also, when you know that you are ready enough for this like we say " if you have knowledge in trading". Because many people had missed the point of having the importance of knowledge and skills, they'll think that if they have capital, they can start trading already. Of course, yes, but as we are talking about profitable trading, then we must do it otherwise, we just fail and lose our capital.
