Like it or not , Irving seems to have fun in Dallas and more than this , in his interview after the game he told something that I didn't see from him for A VERY LONG TIME. " I do mistakes and when I do them , my teammates are there to fix them for them and it's amazing" it's not word by word but 99% he told that and by no means , Sacramento is not an easy team to beat this year and they still did it. Also , when Luka is back from his small injury , I'm curious how they will swap position during in game because Irving also said that he is ready to give his best in order to give his teammates the best options available on the court during the game. Cool
Hopefully he will continue to have that good chemistry with his teammates so there's no problem when it comes to the renewal of his contract. We are all aware that Irving's contract will soon expire, so it's crucial if he will sign with Dallas or not. Seeing Irving enjoying in his new team, that makes me happy because he always seemed to be unsatisfied with the past teams he played with.

TNT is already leading by 15 points, I think the point spread was -13.5. If TNT will continue to play better in the 2nd half, then I would say it's an easy win for the TNT in this game. TNT is now -17.5, it's still worth to take IMO because I don't think this DYIP has enough fire power to have a good come back.

Instead, I took the TNT over 116.5 as I believe this will be a top scoring game.
This should hit mate, you only need 49 points in the 2nd half.
1303  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best time to buy bitcoin. on: February 11, 2023, 08:52:04 AM
I agree not all traders can implement buy low sell high strategy very simple to hear but hard to do, there are question in our mind when we sell while btc is at bullish momentum, what if it will continue to rise after i sell it? That is why many traders set a limitation and used stop loss strategy because crypto is unpredictable it change every moment and we need to be patience everytime because sometimes things did not happen according to what we plan or think.
It was hard for a person who really doesn't understand the volatility of the market.
Well, it was not the question about how they interact with the market trend but if we can't simply follow the golden rule of "buy low and sell high" then not to wonder why they lose.

We don't let our emotions control us instead, we are the ones who control our minds and stop thinking negatively.
Actually, investing in Bitcoin is not just all about buying and selling, but also we must learn how to hold. Impatient people can't understand this but for the sake of wanting to earn a profit, therefore, we have no option but to practice it.
1304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How does regulation affect the future of cryptocurrency? on: February 11, 2023, 08:23:46 AM
It can affect temporarily - that is what see.
Because people will never stop finding a way and give up as they are already in the market unless the use of crypto was totally banned. As long as it was still manageable, crypto will remain one of the most profitable investments which means that investors will continue doing this despite of the strict regulations. In fact, it was expected especially when the government is trying to control the flow of crypto transactions.
1305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and it effect to our local community on: February 10, 2023, 01:28:28 PM
I would love us to share this idea, I have it in mind to introduce Bitcoin to the people around me, but I wish to ask, how do I go about it,

Do you think it will be of advantage or disadvantage to my community?
If you want to educate the people around you, sharing good ideas is what they need. In this way, we stop false information about Bitcoin and enlighten them from the doubts and too negative.
But expect opposing ideas and negative words from them. Because I will tell you that it was hard to convince people if they already have a bad experience like being scammed. You really need to be strong and extend your patience to handle them as this is not an easy task. And I suggest you having at least 1 person to accompany you to strengthen their trust in you.
1306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn from a brother's mistake on: February 10, 2023, 12:32:59 PM
It was a painful experience for your brother, I think that he had this experience early, and I think he will not repeat this mistake, which will be positive in the future. In a way, it might even be better to learn whether to trust altcoins that much or not to invest in this way, it is necessary to look at the full side.

It is a big mistake and regrets but I think, this will help his brother to open his eyes and don't be easy with the market.
Perhaps, investing in new projects without working products is too risky, we are just lucky if they will succeed because most of them had failed and gone carrying the money of their investors.

This is to imply the importance of having research and deep knowledge of the project before investing as this will give us an idea if this is worth investing or a possible scam.
1307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 10, 2023, 01:32:09 AM
I am no worried about their chemistry because Chris Paul will always make it easier for everyone to play on the floor.
Look at the Suns when CP3 was not yet traded to this team, now they are looking better, and more so that they have added Durant already.
Yes, he made the Suns better, and before that, he made the Rockets better by taking them to the WCF, it's just sad that they fall short against the Warriors, probably because of the injury problem of Chris Paul. Also, we have to note that CP3 and Durant are both prone to injury, but let's hope they'll have a better journey this season especially in the playoffs so we can see what they can really do for the team.
1308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: February 10, 2023, 12:44:55 AM
Commentators of the game between Meralco and SMB always said that SMB had a good import, not totally that offensive but he makes his teammates better because he does not demand the ball so hard. He can defend well, as a result, the production of McDaniels, Meralco import was very limited, especially in the 1st half.
1309  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC rise described as false bull on: February 09, 2023, 09:39:26 PM
Well, I expect that the majority are not yet convinced with the current situation, doubts remain and I feel that every time when prices increase.
In two weeks of consecutive price pumps, I don't think we still need to think about it as a trap but we rather think this is gonna happen after the year in bearish. Might not be a bullish time in the market but I'd consider this as an indication that the demand is growing. Meaning that one of these days the price of Bitcoin will possibly reach $30k if the momentum won't stop.

This bull run has lasted 3 weeks, and it can be said that it is not a trap, but there is nothing wrong if someone is still doubting everything. Don't forget that bear season is not over yet, so extreme caution should be exercised as bitcoin can correct at any time. To me, this rally is just a short-term rally. The past bullish days have had no notable buy signals in the market to say that the demand for bitcoin is increasing. Bitcoin is very volatile and it can neither fall forever nor rise forever, it is always volatile.
Yes, I don't put it aside that we are still in the bear season but at least we have seen these few pumps that could bring courage for the holder not to give up from waiting. I know how volatile is Bitcoin but I don't think also that we drop again below $20k this year. We have done with the FTX issue that badly affects the market reputation and we are now in the recovery. Might the current pump not be going bullish straight but I know people are happy about the market improvements.
1310  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as a newbie? on: February 09, 2023, 01:35:33 PM
Trading is quite too risky for newbies but we never make this the hindrance to trying and learning. Of course, it was not easy as most think about it and losses are very likely to happen. No pain, No gain - that is exactly what we need to fail and commit mistakes just to know what we needed and to learn from those mistakes. if we are afraid to try, then we never expect to learn to trade as well because the truth is that we all started from being a newbie, with no experience, and less knowledge. But if we carry courage in ourselves so becoming a successful trader is not impossible.
1311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 09, 2023, 10:27:57 AM
So , the NETS golden era has come to an end , ha ? Well , it should be a surprise for anyone if you ask me , as it was clearly from the start , that Nets trio of stars won't work as long as you don't find someone who can make them understand that they have what it takes to win NBA championship and unfortunately , Irving didn't understand , Harden didn't it either and it was left all on Durand who really had desire to make some great performance with Brooklyn.

Meanwhile , Mavs are in a row and Irving should better pay attention because Luka won't forgive bad plays and ego play-style no matter who you are and where you come from.

Yeah, it was a failed mission, they were so optimistic that they'll make a championship team when they have Durant, Irving, and Harden in one team, but it didn't happen, they did not even reach the NBA Finals. Now, individual stars are looking for a team that has a potential of a championship run, and with Durant getting to the Suns, it should not be hard for them to reach the NBA finals.
1312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 09, 2023, 09:43:50 AM

The Warriors has lost the game against the Blazers but you're quite lucky because you're betting on a +3.5 handicap and which covered the spread as the gap was only 3 points.

Same with what happen to my bet, I got the Warriors +4.5 with 1.80 odds. Actually, I was not expecting it will win anymore as the Warriors area already running out of time, good thing Klay Thompson still decided to shot a 3 point shot despite the fact that they have no chance to win the game.

Actually, the Warriors could have won that game, they just have a problem with their shooting in the last 5 minutes of the game. Their 3 point shot is not dropping anymore, probably they run out of bullets because they are shooting pretty well, especially Poole who only miss a few attempts.

It was a high scoring game, if the Blazers weren't shooting well, I think they'll suffer another defeat as the ball movement of the Warriors are better, they just fell short in the end.
1313  Economy / Economics / Re: I don't see this changing anytime soon on: February 08, 2023, 09:52:06 PM
When the FTX scandal got exposed I am one of those saying it's over for centralized exchanges, now people will have no choice but to stay away from centralised exchanges because of this, I went to get a few DEX tokens for long term hold but I was damn wrong.

I don't see people leaving centralised exchange because of what happened with FTX, some moved their funds out of exchanges but after all the bad news cool off they go back, it seems centralised exchanges will always be people's favorite, they are doing very well. Look at Binance, after the FUD cleared deposits start coming in, look at Crypto.com, the FUD is no more and people are screaming the name.

What happen to FTX is just an isolated case and it just happen to them only, not the entire market. Of course, trust can be somehow affected by other CEX exchanges as they also think of the same scenario which is a very common thing to happen. But this kind of thinking won't stay long, TRUST will get back and that is why many people are still using centralized exchanges this time. I really don't think there is a huge change in the future of CEX but people will remain using these platforms as long as they are satisfied with their services.

Denver is leading the Wolves with a good lead.

They eat the wolves alive, I thought the Wolves are for real after beating the Nuggets, but the result just simply proved that they are just an average team, not really a team that has the potential of a championship run. Anyway, Jokic had another triple-double night, 20 PTS, 16 ASTS, and 12 rebounds, that's a hell of a stat, no doubt he could really win another MVP award.
1315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 08, 2023, 07:48:41 AM

Tonight, we might see the NLEX suffering their first loss on this one. I agree with what you said that the import changing has a big effect on how the team will play as the chemistry around the team is greatly affected. A team with chemistry that is affected against the team with a chemistry that has been built for a long time already. I'll bet on 214.5 @1.79 later.

I cannot say it's for sure but knowing Ginebra, they are always up against a good competitor, and since NLEX is undefeated, I'm sure Ginebra will do everything to win and continue their good start. I believe that the biggest difference here will be the NLEX import performance, if he will struggle, then the team might be affected big time.

Who's betting on Lebron to break the points made of all time tomorrow?

Based on my sportsbook, Lebron is 2.12 if he will score 35+ points, that's a huge number but I believe he will likely achieve that tomorrow since OKC is not so defensive, they even score over 150 before, so for sure it will be a battle of offense.
1317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Figueroa vs Magsayo WBC Interim Featherweight Title (March 4) on: February 07, 2023, 09:51:03 AM
Figueroa himself is coming from a successful redemption fight against Castro after he was defeated by Fulton. So he has already recovered his confidence inside the ring. Magsayo has yet to have that.

The pressure here is more on Magsayo, as you have said, it's redemption time for him, so he either win here to have a chance for the belt again, or lose and it will be square one for Mark and his rankings will be affected and might take him a year to get another crack at the champion.

Indeed, Magsayo is facing a lot of pressure now. A fighter's first defeat must be traumatic after having been winning one fight after another for a long time. But I guess it must be harder to keep that defeat out of his mind and make sure it will be a thing of the past already. The stake is high. 2 consecutive losses after being undefeated must be hard to recover from. So this is somehow an all or nothing fight for him. He can't afford the loss of confidence and self-esteem if he is once again defeated this time around.

He must win this fight, otherwise that opportunity will be gone and he'll be having a hard time finding that again. yes, he lose once, maybe he can make his own excuse and try to improve himself, but if he losses again, then that would only tell that he is not really bound to be a big star like Donaire.

1319  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: February 04, 2023, 12:00:40 PM

Not saying that the bettor is dumb but with that amount, he can diversify it thru several bets playing at the odds of around 1.5.

I'd rather bet on odds as high as @2 instead of going all-in at @1.01.

He probably thought that you can't lose match with such low odds. Match going south at such odds was significantly less but not null,. I think he misunderstood between the two.
He shouldn't think like that because no matter what chance he set, he would have a chance of losing. And if he plays sports betting, he should think about the surprise factor that often appears in the middle of a match or the second half. He has to learn from his defeats and not repeat them, but that is also if he still has a lot of money to gamble again. Otherwise, he would be bankrupt because he had lost so much.
And the truth is that we can't just rely on the odds where to bet, sometimes happens to me that I put on higher odds but still lose. And probably it can happen in the opposite way. This will tell us that winning in gambling is 50/50 chances, if we are too lucky then we have a chance but that person as OP has mentioned might use his head but he does it without hesitation and loses millions.
1320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption growing stronger everyday on: February 04, 2023, 11:19:34 AM
Bitcoin adoption will keep on spreading till infinity, the only thing that can stop the spread,is if there is a new technology system which will superceed bitcoin blockchain network. Without this happening, nobody can stop the spread and adoption of bitcoin because it has come to give the people freedom from centralized captivity.
Infinity? Meaning endless adoption. Well, I don't think that gonna happen because we actually never know how long this crypto will exist. It was a growing technology and people took advantage of it while it was still available, that's it.
Quote
In my locality, the increase rate of adoption is something that can't be compared with the previous, since people have begin to understand the benefits using bitcoin or having it as an investment. A time will come that the government will no longer be able to stop bitcoin adoption in their country.

As the adoption continues to grow, that will also encourage the government to participate and make part of it. And most likely, the more they will pressure to regulate and control the spread of crypto in their place. And this could also be the reason why people hate it.
We are happy today because it was tax-free but 10 years from now, might the government will hunt crypto users/holders to pay for their taxes.
