Guys, the concept of flat Earth is necessary for some power structures to control people. We are specially introduced the idea that the Earth is flat so that our thinking becomes limited (not comprehensive). When a person is told that there is no way out, that there is only some kind of flat surface where we can’t do anything, then any of us (even on a subconscious level) has some apathy, etc. If we consider that the Earth is round, then there are no boundaries in our consciousness, because infinity comes from the round Earth to all 360 degrees. Therefore, even if the Earth really were flat (although this is not so, and it has been proved many times, if you study the topic well), people need hope in any case, so the Round earth can be great for this. This concept gives us an image of the fact that we can study and cognize this world and the universe in absolutely any direction, and not in 2D, as in the concept of a flat Earth.

I don't want to offend anyone. It's my opinion.
And I sincerely want to understand this topic as well as each of us. I wish to everyone good luck in the search, I hope someday we will comprehend the truth!

All that you are saying is that sighting with transit, and then calculating the measurements, doesn't work. If in your mind it doesn't work, why are you so intent on the idea that the earth is flat. Since sight and sight measurement doesn't work, are you smelling that the earth is flat?

You rely on Youtube videos that you say show the earth is flat. Yet you want to disregard cellphone stuff that's in an article that I mentioned. Yet the cellphone stuff isn't really the important part of the measuring in the article.

The thing that you are really doing is to negate anything that you say by negating the things that I say? How are you doing this? We are both using similar measurement methods. If you negate my using of them, you negate your using of them.

Look. The answer to this is simple.

Fly a passenger-carrying, hot air balloon to a height of a couple hundred feet. Fly it as far away as you can so that you can still barely see it through the natural, atmosphere haze... if it hasn't dropped out of sight over the horizon, that is. The people in the balloon see you just like you see them.

You have radio contact. The people in the balloon use a transit to measure the angle between you and a distant, visible object that is on the exact opposite side of the balloon as you are, and exactly as far away as you are from the balloon.

If the transit angle is only the size that an angle would be on flat land regarding the height of the balloon, then the earth is flat or flat-ish. If it is greater, the curvature of the earth can be determined from what the angle is, minus the balloon height angle. This whole project can be done much easier from the top of a small mountain rather than a balloon.

If you sat down and thought about the stuff I tell you about what you call a sky fairy, youd see the thing that scientists are too proud to suggest.

Remember the beginning of the Star Trek movie, Star Trek: Into Darkness? Remember how Kirk and Bones are running through a jungle, running from a primitive race? When the Enterprise lifted out of the ocean, the primitive race saw it. The Enterprise was barely on its way into space, but the primitives were already drawing a picture of the Enterprise in the dirt with a stick.

Did the drawing fly? Did it have any of the powers of the real Enterprise? No. It was just a drawing.

Consider the complexity of the earth and life around us. Consider the ways we use it to make our complex things. Why is it that you can't even imagine that there is a God far above us, like the real enterprise was far above the primitive drawing. Why do you say that this doesn't make sense when the possibility of it is shown in comparing us with microbes?

You have no right to speak of biblical truth, the bible states directly and in no uncertain terms that the earth does not move.

A few examples:

1 Chronicles 16:30,
Psalms 93:1,
Psalms 96:10.

This biblical truth is verifiable using the scientific method; a mechanical gyroscope proven to respond to a 15 deg/hr rotation shows the earth is motionless.
