Actually, Trump, right along with all the other candidates, is a detriment to society. The only possible candidate that might have done anything good was Paul, when he was running. Why? Because none of the candidates except Paul have any thoughts about shutting down the taxation system, and the Federal Reserve Bank.

Rand Paul was leading with 14% to 15% of the vote almost an year ago, before Carson had a big spike. Unfortunately for Rand, he peaked too early. It was a disappointment, but he is very young and he will come back much stronger in 2020. If not 2020, then perhaps in 2024. Right now, I don't think that the Americans deserve Rand as their president. Too many of them are brainwashed and in favor of the establishment system.

we do not need Paul or anyone that is in politics already they are all corrupt.  This is the reason I lean towards Trump.  Anyone of them that has been a governor or anything in this country should not be elected.  We need a change in venue.  Get away from all the corrupt politicians.

Also everyone is concerned about Trumps mouth and his profanity.  Almost everyone I know says shit, damn , and so on.  Who cares if he uses profanity.  We are all adults and not kids in 1st grade.

Seems Trump broke the golden rule of Republican politics and revealed that we were not entirely without blame when it comes to 9/11.

I have started to see the Facebook posts about "Trump blames America for 9/11!!!".

In South Carolina you need to talk up war and the military. The south is very pro-military and pro-war and very anti-logical when it comes to why people might hate the US.

Bush Brothers Swipe at Donald Trump

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. — The Bush family, a dynasty that defined Republicanism for decades, clashed on Monday with the new and irreverent face of the party, Donald J. Trump, in one of the most vivid and powerful confrontations in the presidential primary campaign so far.

Jeb Bush, facing increasing pressure in South Carolina after lackluster showings in early contests, brought his older brother, George W. Bush, and the former first lady, Laura Bush, to vouch for his decency and judgment here in a race that has been driven in recent weeks by coarse language, anger and personal insults.

“There seems to be a lot of name-calling going on, but I want to remind you what our good dad told me one time — labels are for soup cans,” the former president told a crowd that the campaign estimated at 3,000 people at a civic center here. “The presidency is a serious job that requires sound judgment and good ideas, and there’s no doubt in my mind that Jeb Bush has the experience and the character to be a great president.”

This is true.

The benefits of a government that does what is right would be more beneficial that no government.

Rather than dump the current government, Paul would convert it into something that is right in the best ways that he knows how. The others are not interested in straightening government out.

Paul would probably fail, but we don't know that for sure.

The people have the ability to change government entirely if they want... and almost on an individual basis, without using politics, but by using two two words in the courts, and by standing as a man/woman, unrepresented, in their own law suit outside of a government law suit, or o top of a government law suit. The two words are property and wronged.

The thing that is wrong with Trump is, he wants to keep the system and its corruption. He simply would attempt to maneuver things in a slightly different direction. He would fail, because Congress would overrule him in anything important.

Cool

EDIT: If people elected Paul by writing him in, he would probably accept.

When you have a couple of brothers whose grandfather was a big-time Hitler supporter, and you have a bunch of people who elect or want to elect the brothers as President, what does that tell you about the ignorance of the people?

Taxation is legalized robbery. Robbery that is legalized is still robbery. This means that it is unlawful, even though it is legal.

If people want government to do something, they should be able to donate, and get a receipt that shows where their money went. It shouldn't be stolen from them to be used for things that they don't want done.

IN OTHER WORDS, as long as there is a taxation system, the rest of it doesn't matter. Political BS is all BS. Taxation rules no matter who wins. If there was a President who dissolved the Federal Reserve, and got rid of taxation while replacing it with a donation system, only then might the position of Presidency be useful.

No tax... So you have no country right? Because without tax you have no election, no government, no military, no police, no schools, no hospitals... Nothing.

That is the way the system works now, taxation, I mean. If it were all donation, it would work just as well. Why? Because people donate to their favorite cause all the time.

The major difference in a donation system would be that we would have wiser people in government. Why? Because the wealthy are smart enough to determine who is wise. They would donate to people who had wise causes. And being wealthy, they could donate more.

If the poor were that smart, they would determine how to not be so poor. Since they are poor, it is evident that they are not so smart, because they are still poor. Yet they get their say in determining which candidate gets elected. That's why we often get foolish people elected to government. And it all revolves around taxation rather than donation.

Oh my god you're really an American...
So being wealthy means being smart and wise??
So reasons why the children of rich people are most of the time always rich too is because they're wise? Not because they've been helped by their parents?

This is really incredible I wouldn't have thought people like you exists...

I suppose then you're incredibly rich? Or you're stupid?

Ok so how do you pay the army for example? You hire soldiers and you tell them "ok everyone, you might get paid if we have enough donations. If we don't well you'll have to eat your hands but we might get enough don't worry!"

So I've watched some more of Trump's appearances, and I've concluded that he does have a number of good qualities:
- He probably actually believes in what he's doing
- He probably actually doesn't have ulterior motives
- He will probably be mostly opposed to war and foreign entanglements
- He will probably try to reduce taxes and eliminate many regulations

But also some worrying things:
- He believes very strongly in protectionism, including tariffs and currency manipulation, which would have negative effects on freedom and the economy. Not sure how negative - maybe very severe, maybe not so significant.
- He believes in "freedom" to some degree, but not nearly as much as even many Republicans do. He might pursue anti-free-speech policies, etc.

It's likely that all other mainstream candidates except maybe Cruz are even worse, though... And Trump will probably have quite some difficulty actually getting anything done when forced to work with congress (this is very good in my book).

Some libertarians say that Sanders would be the best because he'd be good on foreign policy, absolutely ineffective at actually implementing his socialist ideas due to Congress, and a better "straw man" for libertarian arguments. But I'm not sure that I'm convinced.

I have the same view of Trump. Though, a lot can change in the next few weeks/years.
