No dollars will never be replaced with another currency but bitcoin will become more popular and more popular as time pass by because of smartphones. Majority of people use smartphones these days as more affordable ones goes into sale. Thanks to bitcoin wallet apps people can use the crypt currency easily but just scanning a QR code and the transaction is done.
Like you said, the majority of people are already using smartphones. But how come people aren't still using bitcoins? It's because the two things don't have a strong correlation at all. Just because you can install a bitcoin wallet on your phone, doesn't mean you would want to and it doesn't mean that you're automatically introduced to bitcoins. People that aren't tech savvy also have smartphones. And only tech savvy people knows of bitcoins. Everyone has to be tech savvy before they can ever be interested about what bitcoin truly is. There are some people that push themselves into knowing what bitcoin is just because they think that they can earn good cash from it but that's mostly not the case. |

Claims like this are fun to talk about but little more than good marketing for Coinbase. (Don't get me wrong, I like Coinbase). But no one can say for sure whether bitcoin will have staying power and significance to be considered the world's reserve currency ever let alone 15 years.
What I think is a better discussion to have about this is why would we want Bitcoin to be the world's reserve currency. Existing fiat currencies are controlled and manipulated by Governments and Banks. Do you think these people are going to just let Bitcoin exist without their involvement or blessing? Do you think these people aren't going to want to have control and option to manipulate Bitcoin as they have fiat?
I think the answer is No!
If Bitcoin becomes the world's reserve currency, Bitcoin will be destroyed as we know it. I can't see a way that it wouldn't, but if you all think differently I'd love to hear it!
Claiming on a point without comparison may lead on misconception. Between bitcoin and fiat there are things that may compare both of them. First we all know that fiat is a tangible thing that we can hold literaly and bitcoin is intangible that can be mamaged through transaction in internet meaning to say web base and wallet base holding. Maybe some can say that bitcoin can replace dollar on transaction because people will choose bitcoin because it has fast and reliable transaction. But in a world full of regulation especialy the government and the legality it maybe questionanle due to lock of transaction confirmation and information. But we all know that bitcoin itself is a good investment making it a great choice between fiat. |

That can change, but a physical form of cash will always be used for convenient transactions with people in real life rather than on the Internet, and that's why the US dollar will never be replaced by Bitcoin, just accompanied by it. |

It has gained value from from a long time history, but the same was experienced by bitcoin in a very small time period compared to gold. For this reason I believe bitcoin needs more time to make steps forward to think of replacing dollar. |

No not at all even on future and if even bitcoin defeat golds value.Its like government vs non government organization,bitcoin has no match on dollar.They are the kings in the different platform of payment and we couldnt compare them because of its difference.Yet bitcoin has no chance to beat up dollar

Wtf, we can't even say that either will still be around in just a decade (the latter more concerns Bitcoin, of course). Note that Bitcoin itself doesn't need to compete out the dollar since the latter can die on its own or just become a second grade currency like Venezuelan bolivar (the Zimbabwean dollar being the extreme but this is a big distance). The same can well happen to Bitcoin too, obviously |

Maybe that's impossible that bitcoin can replace dollar because dollar is a legal money and it is accepted by the government unlike bitcoin it is not legal as a payment and it is not accepted by the government.

Nope. I very doubt government will want to relinquish control... As a sub currency it could gain mainstream use but i think there will be much blood before BTC replace the Dollar. The govt has no choice or powers when it's own currency is printed to worthlessness, |

We are coming to the future and there's a lot of theory and proposals that it will become a cashless society. We just don't have an idea if bitcoin will be the currency that will be used for that cashless transactions. Whether it is bitcoin or not, I know that dollar will remain as this is the most popular and well known currency. |

Hard to believe your statement. I barely doubt it will happen. CEO must have got excited with his adrenaline love towards bitcoin. That is hard to believe because not all the people really believe in bitcoins. Though we talking about 15 years from now but it is not necessarily the case. Who knows bitcoin may get replaced with another stuff itself.
