Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread

I just did a quick check to the standings of the Bundesliga and I think it is one of the few times where I really see a  very well balanced standings table.Bayern is not yet in the top with a big number of points difference and Leipzig is playing very well so far.It should be an interesting Bundesliga this year although deep inside I know Bayern will win this year too.

And it's only 3 games , 31 games remaining... and a lot can happen. It's gonna be yet another Leipzig sloppy year.. going unstoppable against the top teams but gets disappointed results against small team while Dortmund struggles challenging bayern munich. Boring Bundesliga for the 8th and possibly 9th of bayern munich title...

I just wish Dortmund can do something with haaland and sancho leading at the front. The odds quite high for Dortmund to win bundesliga though.

Dortmund has chances, but agree to fight with Bayern Munich very, very difficult at the proper level. I also noticed that Dortmund very often gives its positions at the end of the season, just when you need to show character.

Dortmund has chances, but agree to fight with Bayern Munich very, very difficult at the proper level. I also noticed that Dortmund very often gives its positions at the end of the season, just when you need to show character.

dortmund only has a chance against bayern munich if the bayerns themselves have or get a period of weakness during the season or if a very large series of injuries hits munich.
it is always solely up to bayern munich whether they become german champion again or not and not the rivals or others clubs...

ohhh,ohhh. but the photo says that there are currently more new infections than 30,35 or 50 ! if the numbers are right, no fans should be allowed

and it happened again. two players of tsg hoffenheim are infected with the corona virus.
they were travelling with their team on international matches and probably got infected there.
another player is in quarantine because a family member is infected with corona.
therefore these 3 players are missing for the match on the weekend against borussia dortmund. at this match in hoffenheim 6030 fans are admitted at the moment.
if this number does not change until the beginning of the match   there are still more than 24 until the kick-off. in this time there can also be some changes in the corona time

This is bad. But according to https://www.sportschau.de/regional/swr/swr-positive-corona-tests-bei-der-tsg-hoffenheim-story100.html they haven’t had any contact to other players or Staff from Hoffenheim. But the third player could be a risk for the team if they have had contact.
It will be interesting to see how the odds change when key players will be tested positive.

They way the pandemic is picking up speed from day to day, I think we could even see a total stop of all matches again or at least some matches getting cancelled. Now we have isolated cases in some teams from the first Bundesliga. In the third Bundesliga however MSV Duisburg already had to ask the DFB to cancel their next match because they haven't even 14 players that aren't either sick/injured or in quarantine ...

Mainz have always remain as a team that are able to survive the relegation battle in the Bundesliga league for years, but they seems to be struggling this season, and I guess there is a high chance Mainz might suffer another defeat when they play against Bayer Leverkusen today.

Based on my predictions Leverkusen should be able to beat Mainz, Moreover, last season's ranking in the Bundesliga was much different
between Leverkusen and Mainz. And also the last two meetings between Leverkusen and Mainz were won by Leverkusen, even if you see
Mainz's last 3 games all of them have lost. So I agree with you the possibility that Mainz will lose again against Leverkusen.

FC Augsburg - RB Leipzig
Augsburg players showed great determination and good form in the first matches of the season. RB Leipzig, however, can boast a series of eight league games in a row without a away defeat. I believe the series will be upheld today. My bet: victory for RB Leipzig
TSG Hoffenheim - Borussia Dortmund
In today's match, the favorites are the guests, but they are aware that they will always face difficult conditions in Sinsheim. A lot of goals have been scored in the matches of both teams so far. I believe that it will be similar today. My bet: both teams will score and over 2.5 goals.

I actually think that there is some value on Mainz not to lose, Leverkusen 1.60+ is a bit too low, should be more like 1.80+. Mainz did change their coach and had a horrible start to the season, but it was all because the coach lost the team. Mainz has good quality for their standards and at some point they will get their team spirit back, which is the point where they will start to collect some points again. Leverkusen is a bit worse than last years and have some problems upfront imo, which shows in only 2 goals scored thus far this season. Now it's not easy to score against Wolfsburg/Leipzig and they might explode offensively today, but I think Mainz has good chances to take at least 1 point here today.

For the Hoffenheim - Dortmund match, I was fancying Hoffenheim to manage a little upset, but they will miss Kramaric and he is probably the most important player in any team in Bundesliga right now. Without him, Dortmund will have a much easier time and odds are already dropping. Too bad.

Werder has lost their imo most important player in Klaassen as well, so will be interesting to see how they are doing without him. Odds for Freiburg are poor though, because Bremen has tremendous record when visiting the team from Black Forest in the last years, 8 wins, 2 draws, 2 losses.

All in all a round with not too many interesting bets/odds, lets see if there is something more interesting to find inplay

@Lafu I was not sure whether Dortmund would win their match or no, hence I decided against wagering on them, but I’m glad to see that Leipzig won their match because I had wagered a small bet on them. @cygan I’m not surprised that Hertha lost the game, because they have struggled to win since the season started. Further out of the four games played they have managed to only win one game, hence I wouldn’t call their loss an upset or an surprise loss.

The result of Hertha Berlin is not surprising. There is too much hustle and bustle around the club at the moment. Many disputes between the persons in the club management. No wonder that this is rubbing off on the team.

We can see that Leipzig has made again a fantastic start in this season.
They are leading the league table with 10 points not a huge difference from the second place which belongs to Bayern (1 point above the 1st position).
None expected that Leipzig is going to be strong again as Werner left the club and weakened their line up.

Well, if you look at how much Hertha has invested lately into their team, you could've at least come to the conclusion that they are the favourite against a team that just got promoted from the second Bundesliga. So for me it was a surprise that Stuttgart won today. And in general I am disappointed with Hertha this season so far. I am sure there will be ones that blame it on the coach but Labbadia has proven in Wolfsburg that he can form a team and lead it into the Europa League. Not sure what's the problem with Hertha so far. A lot of individually good players that don't work together as a team maybe?

Tomorrow Hoffenheim - Dortmund (x3.95 / x1.81) and M'Gladbach - Wolfsburg (x1.86 / x4.1) could be tricky and may have some surprises. For the other games there is also one favourite but the odds aren't encouraging except maybe for Hertha and Freiburg games.

So the games with nice odds turned to be tricky, Hertha 0-2 Stuttgart and Freiburg 1-1 Werder! For the other games, no big surprises. Last match, still draw, between M'Gladbach and Wolfsburg 0-0 after 70 minutes!

This is now a very important but also dangerous phase for Hertha Berlin. This is the third defeat in a row. They lost the thread after the 0:1. Nothing worked after that. The players were also quite helpless after the game. And this perplexity is dangerous.

As long as we don't have a team on the same level like Bayern, Bundesliga will never be seen as a top championship ( same as Ligue 1 ) and with the last 9 title being taken by Bayern I really can't watch this league no matter how hard I try and I know that they don't like to invest into players and make transfers but if this continues like this in 20 years we will have a championship only with top squads from Europe as I don't see the point anymore of Bayern playing into Bundesliga.
