next weekend there will be the big west duel. Borussia dortmund against schalke 04.probably the match will take place without fans. there are too many infected people in the ruhr area.
if schalke 04 loses this match as well, they will need a new coach soon.  
the game takes place next saturday at 18:30 at signal iduna park

I have no doubts that Schalke will be losing this match against Dortmund for sure .
They cant beat Borussia in any way at the moment and i guess it will be 3 or 4 goal difference win for Dortmund.
It should be coming a new Coach soon or they get more problems as they already have.

Football is as strategic as it gets but since the game is played for a very long time and depends on so many changes in game and how you react to them, sometimes it is a bit more flowing smoothly and just let players pay. However there are times like this when you do try some chess moves, obviously that wasn't really as important as it would have been somewhere else, plus Bayern is Bayern, even if they lost a game they would have gotten it back, however they obviously destroyed them as expected.

So, we are talking about just a funny thing to have a laugh about and nothing more, not even strategic I am assuming, just for giggles and what not. Yet if you spend this idea on today, other teams may get ready for it next time you do it on an important game.

I agree with you. If Manual Baum doesn't get a turnaround he will be replaced.

I agree.Schalke didn’t show a great game play in the game against Union Berlin in their home game this Sunday.If you can’t win in your home field against a team weaker than Dortmund then chances are really slim for them to win against Dortmund.

Not that I think Bayern won't be able to compensate that but what happens if he had contact with other players and also infected some of his teammates?!

It is now as I was afraid off and we see more Corona cases amongst the Bundesliga teams as the pandemic picks up pace. Let's just hope they won't have to pause this season again. Because this  would throw the schedule completely off kilter and with the EM planned for next year every week is packed with matches already.

According to the German newspaper Bild all players were tested before the today's training session. Moreover the health department of Munich announced that there will be additional tests tomorrow. If more players are infected, there might be a chance that the whole team needs to stay in quarantine for a certain period.

Gnabry trained with the team today as the tests were carried out before the training. All players will be tested again tomorrow morning. The game against Atlético will still take place as planned except if the health department of Munich orders the whole team to quarantine [Bild]

damn, the COVID-19 has infected another one of the players!!  My hope is the same as you, hopefully, no more players positive COVID-19 and also hopefully the match schedule will not be postponed. 

Gnabry due to the positive effect of Covid-19 is clearly a blow to Bayern Munich. The reason is, the 25-year-old player is very relied on by Hansi Flick on the right side of his team.

All players were tested again this morning and for now it looks like the FC Bayern München - Atlético Madrid game will take place as planned. It remains to be seen whether there will be more Covid-19 cases in the team during the day. I will keep you guys updated.

The health department of Munich has called Serge Gnabry to ask who he has had contact with for at least 15 minutes since his test without observing the hygiene rules (face mask, 1.5 m distance). Gnabry's “first-degree contacts” will be identified and quarantined [Bild]

I guess they getting tested also and for the example about the Reporters and Cameramens they will reduce them to the minimum.
Depends also if they got contact with somebody in the last 7 days, but yeah normaly the restrictions will affect the League again for sure if the Infections will grow.
Dont know if the DFL have a emergency plan and concept for it , we will see whats coming this weekend.

I am in the same boat as @dwminer1 and think Schalke should get their first point(s) today. It's just about getting their act together, they have far better quality than the team from the capital. Yes, they have been poor thus far, but they played Bayern/Leipzig already (that loss against Bremen was poor though). Coach Baum had some more time to work with the team and in the last test match, they showed some signs of life by crushing Paderborn 5-1. If Schalke loses against Union as well, then I don't know......

There is no problem why Union FC is more favored than Schalke because the current standings of Union are in 10th position while Schalke is stuck in the degradation zone. But the position of the table even though they are slumped in the lowest zone Schalke is able to balance Union's resistance and win a draw, that's not wrong either. the betting system gave Union big odds due to Schalke's poor results with three heavy losses in the Bundesliga. Many teams that are seeded with high odds are not necessarily able to provide a chance of victory even the shocking result last night when Real Madrid had to surrender to Shakhtar Donesk.

Bundesliga is one of the first league in Europe to open the competition so no wonder they could be the first one to have more strict rules running the match or even worse to stop all the operation again.
As we all knew that the case in bundesliga increases day by day after the international break. Yeah players returning from the international matches without any self quarantine as in the world health protocol they supposed to be isolated for at least 14 days.

Let's see if tonights gonna be the next step towards the sacking of Gisdol. His magic if over and he did a great job last season, saving Köln from relegation. But imho they should now be thinking about an replacement for him already. They are now waiting for more than 14 matchdays for a win. The last time they won was in March against Paderborn. Since then they managed to get only 5 points (5D-9L). And considering their weak defense and Stuttgarts strong offense, i doubt that Köln will get their first win tonight. Something else that doesn't really look good for Köln is their poor performance in away games: Last season they only won 4 of the 17 away games.

You are cutting the other part which it's very bundesliga. We are talking about the possibility of some other bayern munich players left out unavailable besides gnabry for the next match today against Frankfurt. Gnabry was tested negative now but still not allowed to play today.
The latest player to tested positive are from bremen they didn't disclose who it is but it says the training session has been canceled yesterday.
