Also if Wimbledon won’t be arranged next season then fans may never get to see Fedder play for the last time at Wimbledon, and that’ll be heartbreaking news for all the tennis fans. Lastly I’m personally expecting, that Fedder will retire after playing in next year’s Wimbledon.

The organiser confirmed that Wimbledon 2021 will take a place, this is a good news.

https://www.eurosport.com/tennis/wimbledon-confirms-three-options-on-table-for-2021-tournament_sto7952032/story.shtml

If the rumours about Federer retirement become true there will be unforgettable moments for Him at wimbledon if can win the next GS title for total 21 GS in 2021.

@Juggy777 - Of course we wanted to see more tennis, but if the pandemic is still not contained in early 2021 and on the contrary, second or third wave is happening, I doubt that we will tournaments except Grand Slams but with strict health regulations.

I believed that Federer will still push for a final slam next year for title number 21 in AO on Wimbly.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

https://www.skysports.com/tennis/news/12110/12110078/novak-djokovic-confirms-he-will-skip-paris-masters-next-month

Djokovic confirmed that he will skip Paris Masters next month, because there is no points for him to win, since last year points will be retained, his goal is to overcome Federer as player with most weeks on the top of ATP list
This is a wise decision make by Djokovic but I don't think the whole plan was to overcome Federer as a player cause Nadal and Federer that had a tie point are more focused on the game ahead than the G.O.A.T. However, his skipping ATP  will make him have some time to prepare himself physically and medically ready for the London and Vienna tournament.
Not too surprised by his decision, he's the type of player who always wants to make new records and there's nothing wrong with that.
It is possible for Novak to end this year as a number one player, and surpass Federer records the difference between them just 19 weeks.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ATP_number_1_ranked_singles_tennis_players#By_player
Djokovic is in much better shap and he can stay on top for some long time now as he is doing and planing for his long term future its really good for him he can break many records in next few years as currently no one is going to challenge him for big titles he need to concentrate with his health issues which is very important for him to stay at top and for breaking many records.

Well we have seen with Federer and Nadal that they map out their tournaments that they will play in as they start to get older and now we might start seeing this with Djokovic as he starts to get older which I think is a wise decision to make. That is also why I think Federer and Nadal have been able to keep playing well into their 30's because of this and it will be good to see Djokovic do this as well so we get to see him play on for years to come if he can stay fit and healthy and not sustain any long term injury.

Yes, Federer started it and then Nadal follow suit, they are very selective of tournaments that they are going to enter, specially for Federer, he will have long breaks, as if he is going on sabbatical then come back strong and win tournaments.

And it really make sense for Djokovic as well, recently he had a injury, and you don't need to aggravate it as it might give you problems in the future, his still number 1 and unreachable, so it won't hurt him taking some rest and taking a pass on this tournament.
I guess the two make the decision because of the friendship between them but it necessary for them to be selective of the tournament they play since they are rich already, their family need them sometime and playing without a break could also lead to their imperfections.

This is my favorite game. But it hard me to win anytime I bet. I think I will try cansino gambling right now to see if it will work for my favour in this season.
Tennis is not a difficult to win game and if you havent won a single bet it's because you are putting the right thing ( how good each players are on the surface the game will be play, previous record, healthy status and the rivalry level between the players) into consideration before making your bet.

Strongkored, it understandable that Djokovic was after the 20 points which Nadal and Federer had but he can also decide because of his health.

casperBGD, he has once said it that he wants to finish as no 1 men tennis player which is the reason he chooses a game that will make him retain the slot.

Indymoney, Djokovic shouldn't be considered as a player that is in shape now due to his health status which he once claimed to be getting worse the more he play tennis and if you watch French open youll see him when hes in pain.

vella85, Nadal and Federer map out the tournament they played but it not because of their age, it was because of the money involved, opportunities, spend time with their family and point in their ranking which also what Djokovic did when he decided to skip AUS.

It's a pity but Nadal confirmed he will be there.
Moreover there will be an audience with 1000 spectators allowed in the arena.

At least we'll see one of the big three playing and I actually think Nadal can back up his French Open win and win this tournament as its the last big tournament of the year and I'm sure he will want to finish the year on a high even though he can't get the number 1 ranking.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

We all know Nadal's mentality so for sure he will want this trophy right before the season ends. Of course we want Djokovic there but he has made his decision to skip the tournament.

But there are still a lot of good players that can give Nadal a run for his money, so definitely it is still very challenging for him as a lot of young players are also coming up very quick and wanted to test the big 3 in every tournament, but Nadal will be the top seed and everyone will be going after him.

@vella85 I’m glad that Nadal is participating in this tournament, because all he needs is to win one single match to become the second player to win 1000 matches in the ATP tour.

Also what do you’ll think of Djokovic PTPA because he claims that Nadal and Federer were invited to join, but both of them decided to turn down his invitation.

Andy Murray has withdrawn from this week's ATP event in Cologne due to a lingering pelvic problem.
Is the end of the career of this great tennis player approaching?
It could have been an even bigger tennis career if Murray hadn’t had so many injury problems.
I will miss him.
British fans will never forget the moment when he finally took the curse off and won Wimbledon as a British.

Surely he is one of best player in British tennis history as first man after very long wait won Wimbledon but sadly due to many injuries he fail to give his 100% after this and now going to end his career with another injury recently his comeback in a tournament even after losing first 2 sets was really one of best in tennis history but sadly too many injuires never give him some good place in all time history.

With the way he performed after a comeback from injury? an now suffering more? I think he is on the twilight of his career and could retire maybe next year. Injuries is the worst thing that can happen to an athlete but others come back strong, but majority wasn't the same. The big 3 comeback from injuries, but I think Andy's case is very different specially how his body reacts post-injury. And with a lot of toll on his body already, I won't be surprised if he call it quits.

British fans will never forget the moment when he finally took the curse off and won Wimbledon as a British.

It's just sad to see Murray though end his career like this, before it was called the Big 4 with him included in the list and it's just a beauty to see him battle it out with the best version of Nadal, Federer and Djokovic. Unfortunately, the worst injury fell on him as compare to his contemporaries and maybe he quickly go back in the scene after his injury and wasn't the same before.

Not saying he immediately jump back to win titles and that he should wait for the right time and recovered more. But it seems that it was the case though as his body is breaking down, but the big 3 is still pushing their body to the limits with some rest in between tournaments.

Andy Murray has withdrawn from this week's ATP event in Cologne due to a lingering pelvic problem.
Is the end of the career of this great tennis player approaching?

I think he should retire next season as most likely Federer will also so we could see two great players of the past decade retire together and most likely it will be at Wimbledon for Murray and maybe even Federer but I have a feeling that Federer may want to play in all four grand slams next year as a send off tour. I agree as Murray doesn't seem to do all that well when he sustains injuries unlike the other top 3 players however Murray's injury was a bad one and they can be very hard to come back from which we have seen so far.

Most likely he will at Wimbledon and then quit the game for good. His injuries is very different though, worst than Federer, Nadal and Djokovic, he has been plaguing with injuries for years, but the worst is his hip and then pelvic, ouch that will really hurt even if you are not into tennis as this kind of injuries will likely affect your movements.

So it's really very hard to see someone come back from such injuries and obviously we have seen that it really impacted his form. And maybe he did rush things on his end, but we have seen the results so far, so perhaps retiring is already on his mind after Wimbledon.

Unlike Federer, Andy Murray is much younger and that hip injury could have ended his career but recent news tells he's recovering quick and hopes to play more. https://www.tennis365.com/tennis-news/andy-murray-gives-fitness-update-during-rafael-nadal-instagram-live-i-feel-pretty-good/
Federer has already said he'd retire soon. Federrar had claimed he'd retire after Tokyo Olympics but as the Olympics now is in jeopardy, there's no fixed date for his retirement. He'd probably participate Wimbledon and US open at least. On the other hand

He could be younger, but he suffered the worst of injuries, and different athletes react to differently, Maybe Federer has recovered very quickly, while Andy's body is different. And as per you posted, it's April prior to Andy's joining any tournament in 2020, and after that, he really shows no sign of his old self, being eliminated early, except when he plays double tournament.

Yes, Federer has shows that he will retire soon, but he will try to gun for another Grand Slam win, as far as the Olympics, every schedule is messed up know so yeah, there's no fixed date for their retirements but most likely we may see 2021 the latest for etiher Federer and Murray to retire.

Vienna tournament begins a couple days ago, without surprising result besides Shapovalov beaten by Rodionov.
I watch Djokovic match vs Krajanovic, the first set Djokovic was drop 3-5 but finally win the first set with a tie break, the second set match is not as tough as the first set, He wins the match.

Djokovic - Coric; Coric played some really nice matches on previous tournament, but I think this is too much for him. There should not be any suprise.
Jung - Medvedev; I watched Medvedev - Opelka. Such a dominating 1st by Medvedev, and mostly 2nd set too. Opelka did not have any break point. Except last service gem in second set. And there it is. Opelka got that break point to go in 3rd set where he won it and suprised everyone. What I want to say, Medvedev has some bad moments, but I think this will be easy match and win for him.
Match that could be suprise is Carrero-Busta - K. Anderson. Andreson with his best weapon - service. Probably 3 sets, probably tie break.

I agree as a hip injury will be one that would take a long time to recover from. I think its most likely the worst kind of injury a player can get playing tennis as the hip does take a beating when playing tennis as the player is always moving and swinging the racket which uses the hip a lot. Other injuries like knees and arms etc... don't seem to take as long to heal and can be worked on to build muscle where as a hip injury is a lot harder and needs to heal on its own. Anyway lets just hope he has a successful 2021 and we see him get through the year without any issues because I think we all like to see that.

Vienna Open already in the round of 16, Anderson beating Carreno Busta, very interesting, I thought that Busta as of late are playing really good, but at 6-1 in the second set?

Djokovic also won against, it was close in the first set, maybe Djokovic started to slow, but he completely dominated the second set.

Good match, Tsitsipas vs Dmitrov and Thiem vs Garin tomorrow.

Tsitsipas lost again after winning a hard fought first set which I thought would give him the momentum to go on and win the match but yet again we see him fade and lose. You have watched him more then I have, what do you think it is with him? His mentality to go on and win a match after winning tough sets as that's what it seems like to me. He really needs to get that winning mentality once he wins a tough set and goes on to winning the match. We saw the same with Thiem over the years and I think it just takes winning a few tournaments to help build his winning mentality up and then we could see him being a more consistent player. What do you think friend?
