Thiem out of French Open by 12 seed Schwartzman of Argentia what a marathon match by two players but today Argentian was really on top of his game and player very good now look like we are going to have Nadal vs Djokovic match again as few top ranked players already out now no one can stop them from grabing this years title again.

Watched first 4 sets of the match and it was some really unbelievable play by both players. They had so many points lasting 20+ shots where each of those shots would be enough to finish the point against anybody else (except maybe Nadal or Djoko). Schwarzi got in front almost every set and then Thiem would shift his gears and turn him around.

After Thiem lost that 4th set in tie break after great come back I had a feeling it could end like this so I made a small hedge bet to return at least part of my losses for the day. Now reinvested all of those on Nadal destroying Sinner.

Nadal is going to be won in strait sets even Sinner is also doing good as he beat Goffin and Zverev but on Clay Nadal is real king so I am feeling this match can end in very quick session as most chances its going to be under in total points with won in strait sets for Nadal.

It was always going to be tough for Thiem to win the French Open this year. I normally do put money on him to win but this time I didn't because of the quick back up from the US Open and that he hadn't much rest which I mentioned in here several times. Also having a couple of tough matches didn't help.

Anyway it looks like Nadal is in for a fight right now after a tough first set win but Sinner is really dominating the second set so far up 3-1. I still think Nadal will win the match but Sinner doesn't look like a push over and will give Nadal a fight.

It was always going to be tough for Thiem to win the French Open this year. I normally do put money on him to win but this time I didn't because of the quick back up from the US Open and that he hadn't much rest which I mentioned in here several times. Also having a couple of tough matches didn't help.

Anyway it looks like Nadal is in for a fight right now after a tough first set win but Sinner is really dominating the second set so far up 3-1. I still think Nadal will win the match but Sinner doesn't look like a push over and will give Nadal a fight.

It was a tight win for Nadal in the first set, Sinner come back in the send and tied the score at 4-4. Sinner is really looking good and not to be intimidated by Nadal, let's see how it goes, it could be 2-0 for Nadal or 1-1 for Sinner if he was able to comeback and give Nadal a much difficult match.

Thiem will always be on top as one of the favourites but he always fell short in this tournament good win for Diego Schwartzman, Thiem was just tired in the 5th set and no more energy and gas.

yeah, must say that i expected from Thiem to get that fourth set after what happened, but obviously Diego is more stable player than I expected (most players will just crush after several set points in a row lost), and Thiem did have the strength to finish him, which become really obvious in last set, and it was expected from Diego to end it this way

i do not expect from him to beat Nadal in semi-final, but he could get a set, maybe even two in that match and capitalize on this good form, Nadal lost from him in Rome, and i do not see two lost matches in a row on clay for Nadal, whoever to be the opponent, he studied him very good in the meantime, that is for certain

It was a truly great match between Thiem and Schwartzman. Schwartzman is playing great tennis this year and deserves this semi-final.
That is his best Grand Slam result so far, unfortunately I don't give him much chance against Nadal.

It would sound crazy a few years ago but a match on 3 sets might be a bit of an advantage for Schwartzman. If he manages to stay in the match long enough, his chances will increase.

His chances of winning against Nadal are slim, but I think he is capable of winning one set against him and there is some value on it (@1.85).

This is going to be good match for Nadal as these both have some good history of very thrilling matches in past in Rome he beats Nadal in quarter final and lost against Djokovic but on Clay as Nadal is king I just can hope he won one set because I am feeling Nadal will go past him in strait sets without any tough resistance.

just looking at chances, there is a much value in betting on Schwartzmann, much more than on Tsitsipas, since Djokovic win is around @1.35, which is a good value, maybe even better than something to put on Tsitsipas to win a set or two

but, when i call the form and my view, i think that Djokovic will be in the final for sure, cannot call which way will be to reach it, but he will not lose this semi-final, expect losing his leg or arm before that, so this would probably be my bet for tomorrow

regarding Nadal, his win is really low to bet on, and Schwartzmann is in good form, i do not think that he can tie two wins over Nadal in a row, but one never know, losing in Rome is something that is happening to Nadal (has 9 titles there, so lost almost 50% of all tournaments in Rome when entered a draw), but on RG he has only two upsets, one by Robin Soderling (in a match where Soderling played his career best tennis) and from Djokovic in 2015, but then Nadal was not up to his game that season due to many injuries
long story short, when Nadal reached semi-final, he always won RG, but traditions are there to be thrown away, since his first lost match was in 4th round, second in QF, third should be in semi-final

Yup, I get you. That's why I said I still expect to see Nadal in the final.
The easiest way to explain what I mean is that nowadays I think Nadal is a safer bet in the 3rd set on best to 2 games then in the 5th set of a best to 3 as opposed to before, where the longer he played the more sure you were he's going to win.

Even in 5th set I'd still give Nadal the advantage. But if I was Schwartzman, I'd try to force long points and more physical tennis.

Well I know how much of a big fan you are of Tsitsipas and thanks to you I have also come to like him a lot even though sometimes he does frustrate me lol but I do think that his day will come when we see him win a Grand Slam. Yes he has really improved a lot of clay which he needed to as he becomes a well rounded player on all surfaces that's what the great players have done in the past. Lets see how he goes against Djokovic, if he is on his game I can see him push Djokovic to five sets or even 4 sets which might be a good bet but don't know about him winning it.

Well I know how much of a big fan you are of Tsitsipas and thanks to you I have also come to like him a lot even though sometimes he does frustrate me lol but I do think that his day will come when we see him win a Grand Slam. Yeah, probably putting Tsitsipas winning 2 sets will be good. He also on his game, and we have to take into consideration Djokovic's injury. So upsets is not that far.

I think Nadal wins but we could see Schwartzman really push Nadal and maybe even pitch a set off Nadal, its going to be a great match. Actually I think both semi-finals matches are going to be good to watch.

Schwartzman is really starting to crack big names already, so it means he has improved a lot regardless of the surface he play. So it will be a great battle between the two, Schwartzman tends to lend on his stamina and survive those 5 setters. But we all know how experience Nadal them, he has age, but still he is on top and still has the A-game. So it will be a tough battle but I'm seeing Nadal coming on top.
