I don't consider bitcoin to be a replacement to the current fiat system per se, although I think it is a fantastic store of value (I view it like a commodity).

Yeah. Sometimes I think of it like that. Also when seeing it in this website that I knew where bitcoin is lined up with oil, copper and gold. And seeing it moving with them.

well you don't need to replace, you can use it as a "side money", like you use paypal as a side payment processor or skrill or whatver you want

it's beyond me why everyone think that bitcoin needs to replace fiat to become success

Bitcoin is not real money to me. I used it for investment and sometime gambling but I consider it as a cryptocurrency. Not real fiat.
Yes you are right though in reality bitcoin can be used to buy real but bitcoin is not real money because it does not have form. If bitcoin can be made for transactions but does not have the form of the bitcoin can not be called real money. That's my opinion

i would consider this kind of currency as an alternative currency instead of real one.
though it has real trading value, if we consider this as a real currency, it could be a disaster if people started to stop believing bitcoin, like stopped mining.

out of ability to use the signature, i want a new ban strike policy that will fade the strike after 90~120 days of the ban and not to be traced back, like google | email me for anything urgent, message will possibly not be instantly responded
i am not really active for some reason

Yep, alternative currency would be the great meaning to it. Some thinks it is just a game money or a gambling money or a starting money for playing a trial. They dont know it is "real".

Bitcoin is more than normally fiat currency for me because i am using it without any problem to buy some stuff for my daily use as some many people into my country are aware about this and it is very easy for me to buy or sell.

But unfortunately bitcoin does not have a form such as money in general, may be more appropriate function like credit cards instead of cash.
May be less suitable if bitcoin called money

I believe you are from a developed country. But in my country it's too hard to spend bitcoin like a real money.
I wish the future of bitcoin would be spending it for our daily needs and getting our salary in bitcoin.

BItcoin is Not real fiat because bitcoin is onlinecurrency, for me Money is something can use to trade or buying anything and i can use bitcoin to buying anything....
Buy goods directly in my area are now able to use bitcoin, for example in the area I rented a car, buy a carton of milk, buying clothes can already use bitcoin.
But I agree that bitcoin is not real money because bitcoin crypto just not real but a medium of exchange exchange tool online

crypto is part of money, and crypto is money , you must know some kind of money

Until many merchants accept bitcoin it cannot be used as the real money in my country also. Because the bitcoin debit card also not available for my country. So, using bitcoin only for some online stuff is alone currently possible for me.

Can't replaced fiat, that's why bitcoin be an alternative currency, and for me it's real money, have a value, can use for trade/exchange and there have a demand for this.

Absolutely right. It is like a wallet of your own without anyone using it for investment or something. Banks do that. That is why they want many people to be registered with them so that they can use our money to lend to someone for profit or investments.

But I'm not interested to consider bitcoin like real money now itself. Because it will make myself to regret. In future after bitcoins get higher value then I will use it as real money for my daily needs. So I'm saving my bitcoin for my future use, until it gets higher value.

Bitcoin is real money when you can buy things with it.
Faucets is also a real money, but if you look actually is just weird that it can be a real money.
So I think bitcoin can and not a real money. If you use daily or not.

Surely bitcoin has been real money for me since I started earning some amounts.
Of course, in many instances while spending it ,we need to convert to fiat.
But most of the times I could use bitcoin itself as a payment way and so, I feel it is real money for me.
