The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I've already posted in this thread, but I have to say that bitcoin is becoming less and less like real money to me, and I'm beginning to see it more as a store of value--like precious metals.  And I think a lot of bitcointalkers feel the same way, because it seems like no one wants to spend theirs.  I mean people around here hold on to their bitcoin like misers almost.  So it's failing as a currency, but I think it's a good way to save money.  That is, if the price doesn't tank.  That's always a possibility.

Currently, since there's the huge selloff going on, I'm opting to spend my Bitcoin and get some goods out of it instead of holding it for right now. I simply do not have the confidence to keep holding onto it, as I worry another event similar to summer 2014 is in the works. Hopefully I won't disappear from the site, but only time will tell right now.

Yes but I still feel scared when storing bitcoin bitcoin wallet, because I was afraid that if you later bitcoin I would be lost. The way I are each exceeding 1 bitcoin I would swap it with the money and put it in the bank.

When bitcoins are mentioned, to me it sounds like dollars. Since I started using bitcoins, I have done a lot of things which includes exchanging for fiat currency, purchasing online digital goods and even getting loans from peer to peer platforms.

This is a yes/no answer to me because it can be of the same value as real money.
But i can't feel it in my hands only see a visual of it on a display.

Well it could only be a display in your bitcoin wallet unless you convert it to FIAT. And for me that I always do, it is 'real money' for me.
I think the money could be in any form, be it paper, coins, or digital,
bitcoin digital form, so many people who think that bitcoin is not money, because of its shape

Of course it has a value for me. You can buy things, and sales.
You can exchange it for things. So it definitely has a value to me.
Why did not I think.

Yes. It`s just the same to me. I can cash it out anytime i want. Although it might take a few days, but i make long term investments in bitcoin, therefore that does not bother me.  Smiley

I consider Bitcoin more real than the currency of my country... I spend fckn fiat to pay tax, but I keep BTC in a vault, so precious like The Ring.

If I earn BTC from someone or somewhere I definitely don't exchange to fiat, neither if my currency were US dollar. Because I believe in a better future, I don't believe in a dystrophic world (even been realy cool in movies).

So, BTC is "real money" to me.

That's funny. But even though BTC is really great you should take caution and not put all your hope in it.

I consider it as real money.

Nowadays you can pay on a lot of websites with the bitcoin.

I think we just need to wait till the bitcoin will be a real currency.

Sure I will not hate hate  Grin . That is why they want bitcoin close because they got nothing from it. It is a free wallet of your own. No one can take it to use on investments just like how bank works and there is no tax.
