I will consider Bitcoin real money if I am able to use it worldwide. At this point this is not the case. I see it as an alternative currency. That's basically what it is right now.

Yes, for making bitcoin as the real money for daily spending you must have some bitcoins in holding for future use. After you have enough for future then you can decide to spend now as a real money. Otherwise saving bitcoin for future would be the better idea than using it as a real money.

yeah, i agree. i have the same feeling too.
as long as there is not enough places to spend bitcoin and more importantly when there is no place to spend in my country (locally) i can't consider bitcoin as a currency. it is just an investment for me so far.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

In a sense it's more real than fiat money for me. Before I started using Bitcoin, I seldom monitored the exchange rate of my currency against other currency. I would watch the local news and then at the end of the news, they showed the economic indicators and I just glanced at it.

Since I started using Bitcoin, I check the currency conversion daily on exchanges and it is like a part of my life now. Just like a extra limb. Bitcoin is also like a hobby and entertainment for me, and I never done that with fiat money.

To me Bitcoin is more real than fiat money.

Depends on who you talk to but as far as I'm concerned all the goods that I want or need can be purchased with Bitcoin. That makes it as real as any other kind of money.
Wah, I'm jelly of you. Sad
Bitcoin is still not widely used in my country/area and I can't even spend a cent of my Bitcoin on foods.

Life sucks.

I think having a bit of money is more secure than owning stocks.
Because I can change the bitcoin into money at any place, any time.
I would like to travel abroad, do not have to worry about the transfer problem.

If you can buy anything using bitcoins or if you can convert it to your fiat currency then it becomes a real money to you, and same is the case with me as I can shop online, I can remit money to my bank account and even I can gamble with it so it has become a real money to me and I don't need any other currency to take care of my expenses so for me bitcoin is a real money.

For me bitcoin is real money, even not buying ,atleast till the moment anything with bitcoin,i had exchanged it to fiat and well i feel the power of it.I would spend it if i see what i use cellphones and computers to be paid with bitcoin,i guess openbazar may change my previous wages into technology.
I think the function of money is to pay, as long as bitcoin can be used to buy something, it can be said bitcoin is real money.

Yeah that is correct, if you can buy online anything or you can convert it to fiat then it is a real money for you, as bitcoin is taking care of my mobile recharge online transfers as I am getting hard cash in my hand then it directly becomes a real money for me and day will come when we would buy physical things using bitcoins.
yeah although still limited its to use in a real life but bitcoin still is money, I was able to buy some goods in online and of course bitcoin was worth in dollars

Yes people do vary in bitcoin is not all the same.
Like me, I have to exchange currency bitcoin to advance because I am comfortable with it. Although the need to shop online using bitcoin I do not want to do it continuously.
But already my bitcoin mining use as a side job for me it was a very pleasant thing and the result is very tolerable to increase revenue

If I can buy something with bitcoin than yes it is a real money.
I know that they are people that have heard about bitcoin , but they still think is fake.
So I am hoping in 2016 that a lot of people will use bitcoin.

To many people it's not 'real money' because they either can't physically hold it ever or it's not backed by a government. However to me it definitely is. Qualifies for a currency in my book. I can pay with it, it's based on supply and demand, there's a limited amount in circulation.
