I like more its online stuff, since I cant get physical stuff yet with bitcoins, hardly any shops in my area.

But for gambling, or buying digital items, its very good for me.

Yes, since I can use it in buying goods online and it can be traded to another form of merchandise or currency. It also has value which helps it to be accepted by people who deem it as valuable or usable.

Yes, Bitcoins can be consider as real money if you know how to spend it and where to spend it. There are many things you can do with the bitcoins just like our traditional fiat currency, eg- online shopping, paying bills etc.

Yes and the best thing is you can convert it to fiat currency whenever you want, there are no public holidays when it comes to bitcoin transactions, and if by converting bitcoin to fiat I can get hard cash in my hands then it becomes real for me.

I don't consider my bitcoin as valuable as fiat simply as there is not many places i can spend it yet
But there are a lot of alternate places where you can spend on the same product to buy with bitcoin. It is just another currency not the replacement of your currency, It is the same as you use dollar in another country where there is another currency in use, then only those people will accept it who know it, and those who see it for the first time will reject it.

Bitcoin is real money and that is why some of us are making posts here to earn a few bitcoins from signature campaigns. The way bitcoin is gaining popularity globally is a sure proof that this is real currency that is being sought after in many countries. Several online stores are mow accepting bitcoin as a form of currency.

Being the most valuable and trusted crypto currency in existence, is what makes Bitcoin used in mayor stores worldwide. I am hoping for it to become mainstream real soon but maybe this is far to happen unless block size issue is solved. Then the BTC network would have the capacity to handle more transactions from more people from around the world. Just my opinion.  Grin

Where I live, there are no stores that accept Bitcoin, so I can't buy food with Bitcoin. It really sucks.

Bitcoin and your fiat are two different currencies for the use in two different places, Bitcoin is invented for digital use , it is a digital currency, but it will take some time to spread to all around the net. But still there are large companies which did not start bitcoin yet, it is strange as it is now the time of bitcoin.

There are sites where you can buy vouchers with your bitcoins and use them at the dentist or at gyms or restaurants the possibilities are unlimited.

Does it mean if you spend your bitcoin in the store near the house, you are doing illegal things?

Yeah I can purchase goods online or pay my bills, so it is real for me and in future we would be using to buy actual physical goods from physical shops, but at a moment bitcoin is taking care of my expenses so its real to me.

Bitcoin is real money to me and in my opinion, it's something that can be exchanged for goods and for services online and offline, it also can be exchanged for a value of USD or any currency and used to buy anything generally.
