Yes I really feel that it is real money. In particular, also because it has a value.

For me it is real money in online use, I consider it just another currency other than of my own country. I use it the same as I use other currency for online purchase, and whenever I earn some money, I can withdraw it as the other currency, so that is the sign of real money.

Yes bitcoin is real money for me, you can buy a lot of things with it.
Also its getting more used by day nowadays.
yes because bitcoin can be used to buy things. that there was no difference compared with real money. Not all can be buy with your bitcoin, it's different with real money. You can buy with bitcoin only with people knows more about this coin, then you will trade with him. if he/she doesn't know you won't get your it I think they are thinking that the bitcoin is fiat because they using bitcoin and sell it or exchange it into fiat to buy something in online even in real life. So bitcoins still like a real money but for me is just a thing like a gold. we still using it as money and we believe that the bitcoin has a potencial to grow in our country or world wide. |

There's a consistent theme that I see popping up on here that I find rather fascinating, and that is the way that many posters perceive BTC.
What do I mean? People doing things with BTC that they'd never, ever dream of doing with their dollars - gambling as an 'investment', or gambling at all, pouring coins into bullshit investment schemes run by totally anonymous showers of shit, lending on here to shambolic morons, asking the question 'where do I get free coins?'
Considering how much of a pain up the arse it can be to obtain coins and keep them safe and their future potential, I find it bizarre that there's such an extreme disconnect. I would've thought it should be at the opposite end of the scale but that's clearly not the case for many.
Why do you think this attitude has developed and where do you stand yourself?

Yes, for me bitcoin is real money. It really works like real money, no matter it is not available in physical form, as now is the time of digital world.
Everyone one now prefer to virtual currency in the form of credit card / debit card / paypal or any other online payment processor, but among all of them bitcoin is much better for me.

Bitcoin is for sure a currency that I believe in. Manipulation of other currencies is done by people you can not track,bitcoin is a little more open to catching the manipulations. So a small step towards being more transparent and open. Have really only used bitcoin at cafes so far but hope to dabble deeper into trading and making purchases with it. Excited to see where the rabbit hole takes me.
