Here's how I rank them.
1- Michael Jordan 2-Kobe Bryant 3-Lebron James
I have the same ranking. But it could be biased since I watched more Jordan films and at those years my passion for basketball was on fire. To make it short, I lived most of my life in the Jordan era. Michael Jordan Ends GOAT debate 2020Even Jordan wants to end the debate. For him, it was a disrespect to the players who developed the game. Era per era, they are upgrading the game of basketball. With that, I think Davis would still want to leave if he wants to earn the best salary because he will be on the top in terms of earnings per year which he will have a 40.4 million per year while the top 1 now is Curry with 40.231 million per year according to http://www.espn.com/nba/salaries. Damn! that was a huge amount. Receiving that kind of offer even with a pandemic? Whoa! I would not even think about it.

If the NBA would not reduce the salary of the other NBA players, they have a reason to give out that big amount, besides Lakers is in the top 3 in the NBA in terms or net worth ranking. https://www.hoopsrumors.com/2020/02/forbes-releases-2020-nba-franchise-valuations.html1-New York Knicks: $4.6 billion 2-Los Angeles Lakers: $4.4 billion 3-Golden State Warriors: $4.3 billion That figure tells they can afford.

New York Knicks is the richest but they could not make their team at least a playoff contender, what happen to this team? I think they all have the money now to sign a legit star in the NBA, if they can sign Davis and lure him with a bigger amount the Lakers could give, I think it would be interesting. But Lakers can already give him the best salary among the NBA players in the league, so let's see what would happen and though Davis has confirm he will stay with the Lakers but there's no done deal yet so it means he is still open.

I think Lebron is the second greatest and MJ the greatest of all time. Has nothing to do with personal bias, simply what I've seen with my own eyes.
Well, for me, in the top 3, I will put Lebron in the last, just what I see also. Here's how I rank them. 1- Michael Jordan 2-Kobe Bryant 3-Lebron James Even MJ have spoken. lol Michael Jordan Believes Only Kobe Bryant Is on His Level
The good thing about Michael Jordan was his skill to bring his team into finals when he was in Chicago Bulls and not only that, He managed to win 6 of them. also, he became the NBA Finals MVP in all six NBA championship that's insane for a player who played in Chicago Bulls for his six-season career.

The term was to "rebuild" the team with young stars. That's the Knicks goal after reasoning out why they didn't offer anything to KD and Kyrie. Knicks lost so many fans with that bad decision. Or, they hate them until the decision becomes fruitful. That's true. But it also cuts the amount they could offer to bring in another good player. Well, having two stars sounds good and both are monsters. They just need good roleplayers again since most of them have a 1-year contract only.

People could talk about Michael Jordan or Lebron James all day every day and you could never find a common ground, they are both great players who used the most they could ever put on the floor and got as much as they potentially can from this sport, they are both greats and they both made the league so much more fun thanks to their existence.
We could also just enjoy what we have and move on, we do not really have to decide which one is better or worse, not like we could ever come up with one single proof that one is better, there is no "proof" on these things, there is no data that could officially end things, so at the end of the day all of our discussions will be useless and endless.
I love Spurs, my favorite player is Duncan, I loved watching Kobe (even though he destroyed us at times) more than any other non-spurs player, I watched MJ for a small period (at the end of his career) and I watched Lebron all his career and I can tell you that I loved every single one of them, they were all magnificent and incredible, that is good enough for me.

As far as my own analysis is concern about the future plans of Anthony Davis, given he already made a championship, I believed he will not just easily be attracted to these possible huge contracts offer by other teams. If that's the case then no changes at all why he made the decision to leave the Pelicans. I see that his camp is also looking at how competitive the roster built revolving around that team before considering switching. The term was to "rebuild" the team with young stars.
If I'm not mistaken, the process has been started for a long time already but still no progress. Or maybe currently still tagged as a "plan".

Yes, they started rebuilding a long time ago, they even hire Phil Jackson to be the President of this team, unfortunately it was a failure and until now the Knicks are still in the stage of experimenting to improve the team, this team is awful, they done qualify in the playoffs and they finished with a very bad record in most seasons, the best season they have IIRC was only when Melo was still with the team, and of course with the Linsanity, who would forget that.

With this expected big salary and contracts offered by teams at any superstars, that reason alone is enough to think that the NBA won't be suspended nor stopped their operation due to expected continuous low revenue. If there's no chance at all to run, the majority of NBA teams and big personalities will surely step up and do their best plan to rise the league.
That's why even there are reports that the NBA might be in jeopardy, I'm not buying that story as there are lots of ways they can look at for the league to run for long. NBA is not just big as a whole but they are also backed by big institutions as well.

Let's also give credit to his teammates. Their lineup was really one of the best during their championship seasons. Jordan's skill is superb so when blended with his teammate's skills, the result is they turned into a monster team. And just want to clarify your last statement, Jordan's journey in Chicago is not just six-season but 13 seasons. He also experiences struggles and difficulties in his early years and even a first-round sweep at the playoffs but he came back strong every year. Their team's GM is also good at acquiring role players that help the Chicago Bulls reached their stardom.

That's right, without good role players surrounding the best player in the NBA, he would still fair as he cannot carry his team alone, it's a team sport, chemistry is very important as team effort makes a team successful. Correct me if I'm wrong, during MJ's era he is not a fan of building a super team, IMO, Bulls that time are not considered as super team compared to the GSW, Lakers, and Nets with Durant and Irving.

This is why its called 5 vs 5 team game where each player do have its specific role and no player can carry his team alone. It all needs coordination and indeed an extreme teamwork. Honestly speaking, i do love those old days of basketball compared on what we have now.Theres no quarreling or argumentation about being a super or powerhouse team or not. MJ's journey doesnt only talk about success yet theres indeed ups and downs in all of his career but he prove out his greatness in the end.

The last playoff appearance was 2013 with stars in their midst. Melo, JR Smith, Kidd, Chandler, Kenyon Martin, and more. They are filled with stars and audiences are used to this kind of roster. Why? Yeah, they can afford it with their high salary cap. If you look at their roster now, it's difficult to say it is really a Knicks team. This is also why Stephen A. Smith, a pure Knicks fan is so mad when they didn't try to offer or even have a meeting with KD and Kyrie.

One of the best and hard working players of Bulls. About their GM, somehow he is also questionable with his decisions. We all saw that at "The Last Dance". It could have been 7 or even 8 championships if only he agreed with the team extending more years for Phil. But ego wins and the team scattered away with Phil.

I don't know, maybe Knicks are kinda concern with Durant health as he was serious injured.

That may be the problem of their management. They don't take risks anymore. Remember they let go of Kristaps Porzingis. Just an injury makes them back off with good players. Worse, great players. Are they tired of keeping injured players and maybe giving them a chance next year? What will they lose? Nothing! They had never been in the playoffs for a long time. What is one year to wait for a player to heal? Sorry, getting emotional again.

Knicks really have the chance to communicate and deal with KD and Kyrie they can offer the money if they pushed it more, the superstars can build role players around them, the talents are enough to encourage more fans to support this team. No one knows the real intentions of their managements to this what they've called rebuilding, are they still in the foundation stage? The longer they've take the more fans to leave them.

It's a huge amount of money that an NBA player would want, Davis gets the championship at get's the biggest salary in the NBA, there's no reason to leave if Indeed the Lakers will offer him that amount, he even has a bigger salary than the king.
I'm sure Lebron doesn't mind that, as long as he and Davis will be healthy in the next 4 years and bring more championship to the Lakers, he will be down with that. And AD with his first ring experience, will definitely love to stay with the Lakers. The management seems to fit the puzzle together specially when he joined and continue the tradition of Lakers winning again. In the long run, Lakers will be happy to pay him that big, win-win situation, and if the supporting casts will also stay, they are going to be very hard to beat as long as Lebron and AD are fit and well and mentally tough to make a run for another trophy.

The Lakers may have an easy journey to the championship last season but not next season, the teams that are also contender to be the NBA champion are now healthy. We will see a healthy GSW, Brooklyn Nets, and the more improve LA Clippers.

If this happened and Davis don't want to sacrifice money in order to win more championship I doubt the Lakers would be able to afford him. Him wanting a bigger contract and the Lakers signing them will mean that they would have less wiggle room in signing other role players to be able to make another championship team. If they want to make more championships Davis should not be looking for another max contract.
