They should definitely consider putting him in the G League. Honestly, I don't see him contributing much to the team at this point. He had a chance to showcase his best during the preseason but went scoreless in 13 minutes of play. Sure, they’ve made history together, but that's where it ends. Bronny can’t be compared to his father, and that was clear from the start. Still, it’s great to see both of them share this journey.

It's expected since the day Lakers draft him, there's nothing special in terms of skills and talents just being lucky as his dad can easily influence those people behind the business,  I agree that after giving him his chance and still can't provide numbers,  Lakers can send him to gleague and try to push him to improve more, but it's business and Lakers will continue giving him minutes as LeBron do still have those fans who will support him and the franchise.

They just want to help Lebron to create history and want to earn from revenues possibly generated of father and son duo, but actually there's nothing special gonna happen there since we cannot deny the fact that Bronny is not NBA ready.

Maybe once they are done with this hype for sure Bronny will be sent to G league since this is usually what gonna happen. Don't know if Lakers is a title contender this season but the way how they look right now it looks like they are for going after for business and not for championship.

Yeah, and so history is being made again by Lebron, playing along side with his son, although it is still pre-season and James looks very tired, huffing and puffing and so he has to ask JJ to get him out, perhaps he just played for the minutes to make history.

There is a lot of games in the regular games and assuming he will be given enough time to play, maybe there were games that he will put a good numbers and showing us if he is really that good or a bust. And then the Lakers sending him to G league to sharpen his skills more.

Stats-wise, he doesn't even deserve to be in the NBA obviously. I mean his stats when he's still on college are all single-digits, and his performance back then isn't enough to be in the NBA. If another player has that stat line during his college season, the scouts don't even bother looking on him, but it's BRONNY!!! The son of what they consider as GOAT. That's how NBA is right now, and that's how powerful Le-GM is.

Like you, I don't see him fitting in the NBA either. Putting him in the G-league will make him develop because he's too small to be a forward and at the same time, he's not that good of a facilitator nor a shooter. I mean if you're Coach Redick, you will be having a hard time thinking on where you will put him. History has been made, but I hope the Lakers and Le-GM considers him to play in the G-League and give that roster spot to another player that's more deserving than him.

So, it's the father who makes his son's career, not the son himself? Am I right? With this approach to business, you won't see a good career in the NBA. This is not a way out of the situation. You urgently need to improve your ball handling skills, and they are not very impressive. Well, something didn't work out. Well, it happens. If you really get busy with work and do grueling training every day, then maybe something will come of it.

Klay will improve any team even though he is no longer in his prime. However, I still have my doubts about them becoming a “big” threat to the Celtics and some other title-contending teams. Yes, the Mavs made it to the finals last year, but not without a bit of luck, and it is not certain that they will be able to do it again this coming season.

We will have to see how Klay with fit into the system of Dallas, although it might not be that hard, because they understand what is the strength of Klay which is he is a outside threat and he could be that puzzle that they are missing specially in crucial parts of the game wherein someone will have to shoot besides Luka.

So for not still a mystery for us, but that's what makes it more exciting to see him in Dallas uniform. They've lost some defense though with Josh Green and Hardaway, specially Josh who also had a great performance with them. While Tim Jr was plague with injuries. Derrick Jones is inconsistent, but same with Josh, he had games wherein he was a pivotal part of that win.

He should be better shooting 3's in Dallas as this is what the team expect of him to do. And you are right, it will open up the defense as him and Luka will be a threat. And we also know that Luka is good at finding open men and so with Klay's experience with the Warriors moving without the ball, Luka can easily find him.

It might not be the pick and roll that he is used to, as Draymond and Looney provided him that pick, maybe in Dallas, he will be moving around and finding his sweet spot. Fans of Dallas too are very excited to see Klay as there are videos circulating calling his name in the pre-season game.

He might be, remember that in the finals, the Celtics was able to lock in both Luka and Kyrie Irving. So just imagine if they have another superstar in the team that has the DNA of Klay, a championship mindset and knows how to responds in those critical games.

So I doubt that Klay don't know his role here, on the contrary, he could still be a good defender as well in the same breath as Josh Green but can score and penetrate and definitely has the heart of the champions. So it's another headway for them to improved and if ever they will face the Celtics again, their chances might be higher as compare to the last time.

It's difficult to answer that.
Klay Thompson is a decent player when it comes to shooting capability but that was before he was injured. He didn't perform well after that and most of his good games are so rare that you can count it with your fingers.
The defensive aggressiveness is also gone unlike how he was before the injury so I guess it struck him hard mentally and he ain't fully recovered yet.
I like Derrick Jones Jr. more because of his defense and so do Josh Green. But they now have Naji Marshall which I think could somehow help out.
The Mavs are too focused for an offensive team just like the other teams so I guess all they need is to keep on scoring whenever they need it.

Not just Luka but we also need to remember that Kyrie can also beat a 1 on 1 defense which will give him enough space to take his shots, he just need to find his strokes and kill that open shots when opportunity comes, we can't conclude things yet as we know that most of the teams will improve thier squads and will use different system to win games.

Let see what will be the outcome of this trade and how Klay will perform to help Mavs going back to the finals then win a world champ title.

Klay will improve any team even though he is no longer in his prime. However, I still have my doubts about them becoming a “big” threat to the Celtics and some other title-contending teams. Yes, the Mavs made it to the finals last year, but not without a bit of luck, and it is not certain that they will be able to do it again this coming season.

I disagree. I think he will be a liability on offense and defense. Likely he’ll be a distraction for the team as he’s moved to the second unit and mentally collapses, blaming those around him instead of injury and old age.

A shame about Ja Morant getting injured. It didn’t look too bad though. I think he’ll be back for opening day.

Gambling odds are definitely better predictors than a group of NBA GMs. I don’t think Boston repeats. I like the Bucks and the 76ers in the East over them. In the West I think it will be between Denver and Minnesota. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Bucks beat the Timberwolves to win it all next year.
