How many units sold total? Only a rough number!
roughly few thousands I would think that most of your potential clients (the people who would consider buying a Trezor) own 10 bitcoins or more. Let N be the the number of such persons in the world. Check the distribution of bitcoins by addresses as of block #320000 (2014-09-10 13:55:18) There are only ~115'000 addresses with 10 BTC or more in them. Methinks that this number is an upper bound for N. (While there may be people who own more than 10 BTC, but keep them split among several addresses, there must be also people who own several addresses with 10 BTC or more in each. So these two errors should cancel to some extent.) So, if you sold several thousand units already, you may have already attracted several % of the potential clients. That is quite good for a product barely out of the factory. It is also likely that several tens of thousands of those N clients cannot read English and the other languages that Trezor supports, and therefore are temporarily out of the market.

Academic interest in bitcoin only. Not owner, not trader, very skeptical of its longterm success.

I would agree with your opinion, however there are also thousands of users that have their bitcoins stored on exchange sites and other services. These sites already provide decent security measures but many of these users are just investors and do not have much understanding of the technical side of bitcoin to move their coins into cold storage. If there was more information being provided to these users, we may see more Trezor customers in the future.

No. By the "end of this year for sure", according to dev in IRC channel.

Is there a stable Electrum release with Trezor support yet? it seems people build it locally from github sources (unspecified tag) and it works just fine/major functionality is all there. oficially was not released (not even a dev/test aplha) relevant (electrum) buglist https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/issues/ shows no open issies for basic use cases.

My trezor won't connect to myTREZOR right now. It worked an hour ago. Am I the only one with this problem?
This kind of stuff always happens, when you need the funds the most urgent...

This is not a relevant issue to the problem you are experiencing. Backend should be working again.

My new trezor still not working and I have not received any solution from the support service. I have not even been able to access to the first configuration of the device Why does it take so long to provide help to your customers via support service? The last answer from support was more than 30 hours ago, telling me that the problem was probably due to Windows 7 issues when I has been said them before that I had tested the device in another SO. Actually in differents computers with XP, W7 and W8 with same results. Still waiting since then. Maybe I'm impatient, but I was eager to try and use my trezor.

I had similar problems like you.
My solution was to use a USB hub with a standalone power supply.

And now.. Do you have to use the hub always that you use your Trezor? Or is it working also without the hub?
When I connect my device I just see the padlock without filling, very rarely the padlock gets filled in white when I connect, but anyways the computer doesn't detect the device.

Yeah, Try USB cable that you know works. Its not just that. Some usb cables that work for other things wont work for trezor. I tried a cable that works just fine and it didnt work and they told me to try another, so i tried another that i knew worked fine and it didnt work either. Against my own better judgement i decided to waste the effort to try a third cable even though there was no way that was the problem at that point, and the third one worked. try every usb cable you have imo.

I tried all the cables I have, up to 6 different USB cables, in different USB ports, in different computers, in different SOs. And my Trezor was never detected, I tried using the plugin, and the bridge with same results. Even if I the trezor will work using a powered usb hub I wouldn't feel safe sending my saves to a device that has given me problems since the first attempt to use it. I think everybody can understand that. I think my device really has a manufacturing defect, because it's not normal what's happening.

You can derive your addresses from your seed without a working trezor. What you are worried about is not a risk.

I have followed this tutorial to install Electrum 2.0 beta with Trezor functionality: http://blog.perlover.com/2014/10/20/electrum-2-0-trezor-compiling-driver-usb-ubuntu/Everything goes fine, I am able to recreate my wallet with the passphrase and the correct transactions appear in the electrum interface. But when tryiing to send a transaction in the Send tab, nothing happens when clicking the send button although I have correctly input the address and amount. Any ideas why this can be happening? Thanks
