New Rebrand PollNew poll is now up for the final portion of the logo on Slack #polls channel. There are 5 color schemes with some minor tweaks to the logo design. If you haven't joined Slack, simply get an auto-invite via http://slack.pivx.org/ and vote/participate! P.S. We may get some other variations due to requests.

Do you need a certain amount of coins to stake? I've never staked coins before. I ran the latest version and had the message "staking is not active" I then downloaded this version and I still see the not active message. Do I need to enable staking somewhere?

Anyone trying vote who got the "buttons disabled in message archives" needs to download one of the slack apps. The #poll app does not work in a browser.

If it is a windows wallet for some reason anytime you first load the wallet (new/update) you have to close the wallet then restart and staking will activate after a few minutes.

It works fine with Chrome for me on my Windows PC. But yeah, seems some do have this issue.

I had tried with Chrome and Firefox but had the same issue with both, and was only able to vote after downloading the app. Depending on Windows version and desktop/laptop (I've seen apps not work on desktops but work fine on laptops with the same version of Windows) is probably the cause. Slack has an app for almost all operating systems, safe to say voting should work in all their apps....

On that note. I know you are busy with the re-brand and such, but are there plans to have a self patch feature for the wallet? Its very popular amonst other projects and helps a ton with maintaining fast evolving projects.

AFAIK, we already put side 10% of every block reward towards proposals.
We just need to create a proposal for the compensation for what/who/amount/when etc and if vote passes, the payment goes to the receiver's address.
That's good I didn't know there was a 10% block tax for development. This is good news. Best way to fund a project. I like the shield design. Looks good on the cmc page. It isn't a 10% Tax for Development, it is a 10% budget that is available for a variety of purposes. But if proposals are not created and approved, then the funds for the budget are never created. It isn't just a sum of funds sitting there waiting to be spent. there is a process. That's a great way of doing things. I can see this is going to do very well.

Rebrand UpdateLogo poll has finished and design 4 was a clear favorite with having 50% of total votes! Media company will now pretty it up using colors etc to present us with a finalized logo. Hopefully we see the final logo in all its glory soon! Will keep everyone posted here. I think the dark grey background with just the white logo is the most effective. But from the colours I guess red. Maybe add the option for just the dark grey and white?

nice move... $0.013065 (38.07%) 0.00001587 BTC (34.81%) that's substantial volume @5 x
master node price then is now @ $130, still pretty darn cheap if you ask me

on a volume of $19 ... that exchange has long way to go.. poloniex is where we want to be at also livecoin (very good recent exchange, but people pump there remorsefully) checking supply/demand and at what price.. as said I suspended acquisition few weeks back so folks have even field and spread network wider (geo location wise when all possible).. cool, people take chunks worth 1 ~ 2 to 3 master nodes worth.. very nice.. distribution in progress exactly right alrity, have a wonderful weekend, wont begin collection till some weeks, want to have enough to dispatch a reward too very best this btw, I used to purchase some master nodes and + .. as a service to community always check the spread and dev activity on crypto, supra important and and.. innovation it is this innovation I really want to get to (via funding eventually) https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/creditbit/

Rebrand UpdatePoll Results Green | 4 | Blue | 3 | Purple | 15 | Orange | 2 | Red | 2 |
Due to such high lead and budget restraints, most in Slack agreed that Purple is the winner! Rhubarb Media is now going to get the brand standards completed. ETA Monday. OP has already been updated with the new logo and purple theme. FYI, Purple is a rare color in crypto as there's only 1 coin in the top 30 that uses Purple.

Can we change the red text in the OP also to purple. It feels out of place now.

Really awesome so see a lot of buy support behind PIVx (formerly DarkNet). Looks like it is about to hit top 100 crypto by market cap.
There is now consistently under 3MM PIVx sell order supply driving up price. A lot of the core-team and early-investors appear to be sticking around for the long haul. Also, considering the fair distribution, crypto is a solid alternative to some other anonymous/private cryptos.
Masternodes are about $100 each, although BTC is all over the place, that that price is going to change. Returns on masternodes are solid. 10k to get started.
If you are interested in PIVx, I highly recommend getting an invite to the Slack channel. Community is pretty great. A lot of energy, and a lot of stuff getting done. Devs have a solid roadmap. Plus I am totally convinced (especially with recent regulation in China), this anonymous, privacy crypto have an insane amount of opportunity.
Keep up the great work guys!
