Welcome. This is a proof of stake coin so it's not GPU mine-able.
All you need to do is buy some and keep your wallet running. Wink

How does the roadmap for 2017 look like? Smiley

Main priority is wallet bug fixes & general stability improvements.
New website is currently being designed. Rough ETA is mid-Feb.
There are tons of new features planned as well. Not sure on ETA.

BTW, you can also see and help out on any current PIVX to-do tasks on Trello. Grin

for future things that require strictly BTC

Best to use the 10% for dev vote system. Then auction whatever that is in Dnet off here at the market rate.

Most don't care to be the donators of BTC where everyone gains whether they donate or not it does not make sense. Although many will buy here in a flash at market rate more than they really would have bought otherwise to support things like name change etc.

Just say right we need .8 BTC that's like so many pivX at current market rate ... put it to the same vote as other dev projects that can summon up the 10% and generate that amount of pivx then auction it here or sell on bittrex.

Donations never work. Trust me I've seen it enough in quark.

I have a problem with Pivx Core (Pivx-Qt-Windows64-Wallet-v2.1.4.0), syncing randomly stalls at 200k-300k blocks, and just gets stuck, is there any node address i can manually add?  Cry

Try adding this in pivx.conf as that's all the nodes I have and I've got no issues.

addnode=108.61.151.69
addnode=173.245.158.8
bantime=50

Are there some rough dates on the roadmap milestones available, or are these implemented in the order of voting priority (would love that)?

The next on the list, once some of these pesky bug issues are rectified.. is the zerocoin protocol. The other items can be put to a vote, but they will also be available for others to work on as well. So we would need to workout how to handle that.

So that's the final decision on the anonymous tech being implemented is Zerocoin protocol?
