I am happy to edit it, improve it, change it - just tell me what you would think could be expressed better, clearer, shorter. Thx.
Thank you for spending your time with the Crowdfund and writing this manual! That's exactly what we needed! I posted it here: http://forum.burstcoin.info:4567/topic/69/how-to-start-a-crowdfund-on-burst-quickstart-manualand I'll add that manual in the next version of the Burst Win Client. User feedback is very important, because we know the software too much to see the problems.

Thank you for spending your time with the Crowdfund and writing this manual!
Happy to help. As you could see ... I REALLY wanted to know how it works ;-) That's exactly what we needed! ... User feedback is very important, because we know the software too much to see the problems.
Yes, I know. Being a coder myself ... I always appreciate an outside view on my epic very much. Nice one. And good that you edited the line beginnings a bit. I am really lacking <ol> here in bitcointalk, we only have <ul> (unordered list). I have inserted a few empty lines, to visually structure it a little bit better. and I'll add that manual in the next version of the Burst Win Client.
That is cool. I am flattered. Of course I like it. Very much so. And look how many retweets you already got. Very cool. Next time, please add @altsheets or #altsheets to the tweet. Thanks. Thank you, dearest two donators ! nice --> https://block.burstcoin.info/acc.php?acc=BURST-ESVR-L2WJ-NT3Y-BWM6VMuch appreciated!

... haitch will restart the server in a few hours, as soon as he will se it or those post. Ah nice, thanks for telling me, Xavier59. That explains it, of course. Perhaps a cron job might help that is restarting it every 6 hours anyways? Secondly, can I also access that whole crowdfunding functionality distributed, in my own wallet download? How? I would not like to input my private key into a website. If it was a locally running burst-NRS that feels different. Thanks a lot! EDIT: Service is back. Thanks a lot! Tried again, any password does not seem to do the trick. Where is a manual for that crowdfunding functionality? Thanks. I wanted to avoid a timed restart, as it shuts the wallet down hard, no nice shutdown. However, it's been getting "bad transactions" that have been semi crashing it, and I've been out of town recently and not able to check it as frequently, so it's going to do a 6 hourly auto restart. To be able to access the crowdfunding locally, you need to add this to the wallet\html\ui directory: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/dawallet/burstwindowswallet/master/burst_1.2.3/html/ui/atcrowdfund.htmlor Grab DaWallets portable Wallet: https://github.com/dawallet/burstwindowswalletH.

Both are totally good to mine with. Even USB2 will affect your mining only slightly (5 to 10%) with disks over 3 TB. Good luck! How to mine Burst in 11 minutes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSxAC4189-c

I mining now for two weeks with only 1.2TB USB2 connected to a laptop and mined about 5000 Burstcoins. Is the profit lineair with the size of the HD?

However, it's been getting "bad transactions" that have been semi crashing it, and I've been out of town recently and not able to check it as frequently, so it's going to do a 6 hourly auto restart. Ah I see. Hmmm ... no nice shutdown is not nice, I agree. Perhaps you could store (or find) the PID, and send a "soft kill" to it, so that it can shutdown properly. As if I had pressed Ctrl-C in the NRS window. Wait 1 minute, and then start it new. And/Or 2 cron jobs, one to power it down, and one minute (or 5 minutes) later then a new fresh start. > out of town recently and not able to check it as frequently Or ... have a script to poll it every hour, to see if it is still alive and well, and only if not, then do the above. Or have it send you an email... Just some ideas. Of course, best would be to identify the "bad transactions", and see how to drop them. Ah, ouch. THAT has caused some of my confusion. Because ... how could I have known that? One possible way out of that would have been ... two different version numbers. Not both 1.2.3. Because if one wallet can do more (i.e. the atcrowdfund.html is already copied into the right place) than the other ... then isn't it really already two different version numbers? I suggest you call the one which needs one step less, i.e. the one which is one tiny step more advanced ... 1.2.4 or 1.2.3.2 or 1.2.3.4 (just because it looks nice :-) ) or 1.2.3.B or similar I.e. in the OP: If I had seen two slightly different version numbers, I would have chosen the higher one, and immediately gotten the /atcrowdfund.html in my local wallet. HTH. Just my two burstquants

I have made minor changes to the wallet folder. The only changes is in the HTML/UI folder. The wallet has been download from burstcoin.biz and the HTML/UI folder has been stolen from daWallet's github. All credit goes to daWallet and burstcoin. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2tAJdpkUC00X19ueVM4ZVMxdzg/view?usp=sharingAll the other stuff required for Linux and OS X is still required.

I'm qouting myself. No critique then I decided to take Twitter a little more serious than before. With the brand new account https://twitter.com/Turn0ff_tweet/with_replies , I'll look at BURST as a newbie. In a number of tweets today I've written about BURST's sustainablility vs. bitcoin - although both use PoW mining - in a extremely simplistic way; other posts will be purely informative while other will be "news". The overall objective is to explain why people should buy and mine BURST The problem with new accounts is that they lack followers. Please follow https://twitter.com/Turn0ff_tweets/with_replies . The tweets will be very pro BURST, and it could become a great free PR source. I have 7 followers now (the first joined before I posted anything haha), let's try to get a few more. Like crowdfunding, a little from many can create great things. Thanks! (@crow: OP still has the wrong Twitter address's... )

As the original dev hasn't logged in a long time, there is no way to make changes to the OP and update it when necessary. To have an outdated OP will just start questions.

It take hours if you are downloading it since the genesis block. You can download the db faster there : http://db.burst-team.us/I can't give you a time to update the wallet, it depends of your connection and how much block you have to download, 10, 100, 1000 ?
