moving BTC to ETH is actually a great strategy. The best thing you can do with all these gains is make some additional one's. And the way to do this is to invest in coins that have actual value. Thank god you're not one of the guys that goes into Bitcoin Diamond, Gold etc. Ethereum in contrast to many other platforms has already proved itself that it can withstand a lot of difficulties, and Vitalik, the founder has already proved what a genius he is. The protocol updates that are upcoming will change the network by a lot and that will make the crypto space overall  much more attractive, because all of the sudden we'll have private transactions (zksnars) and many other cool features like Proof of Stake.

Moving some BTC into ETH is not a bad idea. In fact i think its a good move because ETH has already withstood the test of time and proved that it can soar high like BTC.

I'd rather keep everything in bitcoin and hardly move it to the etherium. Bitcoin is preferable for me and the price is happy and the etherium remains number 2 but I will invest in it and continue to it

Bitcoin is undervalued right now because of the growing popularity of bitcoin and people love to make the price go up.
The Etherem Alliance could be the key for the success of ETH, it will have more partners which is member of the alliance so it can easily grow.
Just hold your ETH, one day it will pump like bitcoin.

Maybe moving some % of BTC into ETH is a good diversification strategy, while it's cheap?
Ive been doing this thing ever since ETH was out in the market which i do always lend some percentage profits on my BTC earnings converted into ETH and now my profits are compounding and i do reroll it for the chance on getting even more ETH so as on my Bitcoin earning too. I have both coins which i do see that this would really be good for long term investment and i have seen already the results as of now but i didnt plan to sell it and just wait for the right time when i do see enough.

I think ETH is lagging behind in price. From tech perspective it does nto make sense for ETH to be that low compared to BTC.

I've bought some ETH by selling my few BTC and then I lost some amount in dollars because I missed that major BTC price inflation. I missed ths $10k-11k actions, both of them unfortunately.

It hardly affected the discussion board marketplace however i oul not even realise why it would master this forums marketplace should there be so much much better forums for this sort of subject. It is good that steam provides for us an alternative choice to pay for and complements the time much more businesses should follow.wd

It is good to invest in Ethereum and yes Bitcoin is rising so definitely this is the golden chance for Ethereum investors to make large amount of profits.

I would also suggest buying some Bitcoin because after all you yourself agree to this that  Bitcoin is skyrocketing  now a days which means we have a bigger chance of  increasing our capital by investing in Bitcoin than any other sort of investment. I also suggest day trading for increasing the profit even further.

I heard that the Bitcoin Cash has more potential than the Bitcoin. So I will keep both the ETH and BCH.

When ETH is still at around $300 I switched to BTC since it was unstoppable last year however this year ETH pumped and I regret that decision because of that I decided to hold both of them 60% ETH and 40% BTC. I am holding both of them but when I see another altcoin to invest with I'll use my BTC and will hold the other. Honestly, it is very hard to decide which coin to hold since I don't have a lot of idea in trading/investment but one thing that I am sure of, ETH is the future and next BTC in the making.

I think it is wise to hold both. But Bitcoin Cash could also be a good option.

And if you have some spare ETH you could easily double it on doublemyether.com

Currently, I see these two coins have growth rates and the upward trend is the same. There are no coins than coins. Moving BTC to ETH will probably increase your risk. I recommend holding both of these coins.

I'm in both camps, Ethereum and Bitcoin. I can envisage the utility of both. Bitcoin and a storage of wealth and Ethereum as the world computer fulfilling smart contracts, etc. What I don't understand is why the diehards Bitcoin fanatics cannot see this. The Bitcoin community cannot even decide on changing one digit for gods sake. Ethereum seems to have more authority and leadership guiding it to its goal. Long may it last.

This will not happen and there are many reasons for this. Until now, I do not understand the only reason why, despite all the shortcomings of bitcoin, it still has such popularity. Already the technology has moved forward, and it's all on the old wheels. Is it only the demand that keeps him king, although on the other hand it is the basis of the whole system and it is unreal to break it.

Miners set the gas price that they will pay. So they can set it to whatever they like. It will adjust to reflect to the real world costs of running the mining equipment (so if ETH goes up, the gas price will decrease).

Statistically, most will lose.

I would put a few coins in different ISO. there are enough projects on which this amount can be reproduced. 10 percent I would sell now if you need money. Well, I saved the other coins for the future.
