There was a nice 50% increase in value today. I invested in the project with hopes to see growth within a year. I think you need a little boost though in marketing and also in the goal of the platform.

- Switch to Proof of stake?
- Reduce coin supply?
- Segwit?
- LIGHTNING NETWORK?  

Seriously though, the crypto hype flow from what I observed :

start with bitcoin => Proof of stake ==> Fast confirmation coin ==> Fast and Anonymous coin ==> SegWit ==> Lightning Network

Whoever be the first coin successfully implementing LN will be the winner

So tired of this, it keeps coming back. Please read the post history, especially as a newcomer, it's wise to educate yourself. There will be no POS, no coin supply reduction, and no segwit in the near future. Dev had already addressed these topics and is working his ass off on the other things he has mentioned before, which take priority.

The core competencies are privacy and decentralization. He keeps adding to these, too. Just like good businesses add to their core competencies and ignore the latest fads. This is the cleanest smooth multialgo out there and the first coin to use proven i2p and Tor anonymity.

Download the blockchain from vergecurrency.de

*stop verge
*replace the files in /AppData/Roaming/Verge/
*start verge
*wait a few minutes -> wallet will be synced

Hi, guys. I just started to follow the project a month ago, and mentioned Verge in one of my videos (the guy who talked about merchandise and radio I am going to learn more about it and create another video soon, where I go over Verge Coin.

@dogedarkdev I am also doing ecom/amazon, and I was wondering if I can use a logo for Tshirts or Mugs? Is there a royalty I have to pay for using that? or we are free to use it to spread the word about Verge in this way?

So I followed this coin from the days it fell from grace. Is there a market place integrated into the wallet or any plans to integrate with services like bit-halo smart contracts? Where is XVG/Verge block explorer. The one I get is says subscription has run out. And y is there Verge and xvg? It makes it like there are two coins, Isnt one just a trading designation and other is the official name?

there is no sync issue with the windows wallet. you can download the chain for it if you dont want to wait for it to sync.

there is an online wallet, verge-wallet.xyz that has been running for a couple years, and has no problems either.

how you store your money is up to you, though.

In order to make a xvg integrated into ledger the bellow must be done.
you will have to fork both these apps:

- Ledger Wallet Chrome (PC client): https://github.com/LedgerHQ/ledger-wallet-chrome
- The Nano S and Blue app: https://github.com/LedgerHQ/blue-app-btc

Make the changes needed to support your coin, then do a pull request for nano to review before integration.
