Solo-mining with windows wallet works! Thanks for that.
But is was pain to get working synced wallet. It doesn't want to take VERGE.conf neither in working VERGE (... appdata/roaming ...) nor from command line. I made it work only provided needed setup parameters in command line.
And wallet didn't sync without addnodes, live node addresses are difficult to find in this big thread. You should definitely put them in OP

wallet definitely uses parameters in VERGE.conf

theres a ton of nodes, literally hundreds and hundreds. ill post a link to them in the OP.

Verge has been rising up a lot. It should do something more to keep rising. Otherwise it won't just keep rising without any activities.

no idea what you are asking. RSK creates smart contracts, when they are released for bitcoin in the coming weeks, we're going to use them for verge.

I try all the ways, even with command line -conf=VERGE.conf with VERGE.conf file in the same dir with VERGE-qt.exe
I tried VERGEd.exe also.
It stays with default, I checked in debug.log, it even doesn't change algo (I need algo=x17)
But when I tried with bat-file with direct command line (yes, very long) it works!
And yes. It doesn't want to sync without -addnode ... in my place.

it has to work in that directory, unless you have ran the wallet as different users on that same machine, making multiple verge data directories in the application data folder.

Well ... just tried on my laptop with windows 7. And it reads conf file correctly. Weird.
That machine with problem was win8.1
