My XVG is no longer showing up on my CoinCap app on ios. Any ideas as to why? Thanks

To clarify it used to be listed with all the other coins and I had my holdings entered to track the value

i'd ask them, i have never even heard of coincap.io before. coinmarketcap.com is what i am familiar with. they are the industry standard.

Thanks for the reply, I'll ask them I guess. I like CoinCap since I can track all my holdings and also the total portfolio value. It's not as accurate as coin market cap though. For what it's worth I'm a huge fan of what you're doing and looking forward to what the future holds for Verge

i'm not sure i understand the question. after smart contracts are added, we will have smart contracts. i think that's a good thing.

To better answer your question i think it would help for you to have a core understanding as to what a smart contact entails; to summarize:

Smart contracts are computer protocols that are able to facilitate, verify, or enforce the negotiation or performance of a contract. They are able to replicate logic that upholds contractual clauses, and should be partially/fully self-executing, and/or self-enforcing. The aim of a smart contract is to achieve heightened security, as they are touted as being tamper proof, and minimize human error.

In essence they have the ability to reduce financial transaction costs, and risk, through non-discriminatory execution. which effectively brings on an additional layer of transaction security.

Given the above stated information we will be one of the only currencies on the open market place to provide this service on top of the core fundamental services that are baked into our currency.

With potential hard forks coming, has there been any discussion about having a budget fund for Verge?  It would be nice to know we have some funding behind the scenes.  It would be nice to know Verge has funds for any additional resources that might be needed.  

   And by budget funds I mean split the mining rewards.  maybe 90% miners 10% budget.

I.e., set up a smart contract, specifying let's say a bitcoin address and an amount. Lock up a number of XVG in it. Let the contract execute, when the specified number of BTC is in the specified address.

Is that a viable use case?

when you use the i2p nodes, it is running through 2048 bit ElGamal/AES256/SHA256+Session Tags encryption, with Ed25519 EdDSA/ECDSA sigs. also, the ip address of the client is never broadcast over the network. also, we have alot of resources on i2p (and tor) including web wallets and soon the electrum servers will be back up on i2p, which no one else has done before, except us.

next rollout is android wallets that run on i2p and tor ;]
