Hey DEV, you should get XVG added to dark market and open bazaar sites as a currency.  Great for TOR.  I think that would boost value even more than the pump going on now.  XVG should be pump and pump, all you whales out there.  Keep up the good work DEV

Exactly, verge should be developed as the next zcash. Or add some new feactures like staking, masternote, or something like that to keep people buying and holding verge.

I think masternode will add a plus for verge

why? you don't see masternodes as a weak point/centralization?

I think it depends on how you run masternodes. Ark is doing quite well in staking. Dash's masternote is kind of centralization, but on the other hand that is what people like. They see profit inside when buying and holding masternotes.
If you really don't the concept of masternode,  you can think of the direction of dark market. Honestly, that is the main reason I bought verge. I like zcash, and I hope verge will be the next zcash. I don't mean to copy, but dark market is a good direction  to think of.

i feel some potential here Cheesy
but, is the faucet not paying?

24h ago i started my first few runs in the digital trip,
ive been trying different wallets, exchange, webwallet, paperwallet.

none of them have been credited.

i play the game, enter my address, click send:
"transaction started. Wait for complete..." is the awnser....

i waited, i played again .. no payments.
whats the secret ? how long do you have to wait?
i disabled adblock, nothing changed.

yeah the game works, i just need to restart it with a new daemon, but that isnt a priority right now. the osx electrum clients are priority. ill get the game to payout again right afterward.

Imma ask again as a noob. Is it recommended or just safe enough to store it on the android wallet for mid-/long terms?

Backup backup backup.  (and not on the same device! lol)

(i am assuming android wallet works like PC wallet here...)    make backup of your wallet.dat file, email it to your gmail/yahoo account, if nothing else.

better yet, put it on a thumbdrive and put that into a safe.

find other ways, to put the file, safely somewhere else.

and welcome to Verge!

Ty, and where can I find this .dat file on my mobile phone. I know how to search it up on the desktop but, hell I know how to locate it on a mobile phone. Thanks in advance for who ever is going to answer.

mobile app uses a seedphrase (combination of words) instead of a .dat

maybe the db is corrupted. try deleting all the blockchain info (except the wallet.dat)
then download a fresh copy of the chain from vergecurrency.de or cryptochainer.com
then open the wallet back up.

So I tried again, it did not work, I realised when I try to delete everything there is always a hidden file called DS_Store which comes back.
Maybe it has something do with that?

I have similar problem. Mac wallet opens fine after updating the blockchain. The only issue is that it says the wallet is our of sync and I don't see any process bar for synchronizing the wallet. How do I start synchronize the wallet? Thanks for all hard working, Dev.

just be patient, or download the chain from vergecurrency.de

otherwise it can take a while to sync, almost 3 years of blockchain. that is why we are releasing the electrum clients, so its instant.

Will it be nice to have verge trade on this newly launched multi-mega website/exchange?

It is developed by Virtacoinplus XVP community.

I learnt they are yet to launch their main project, which is the mega project.
Only the exchanger it what they launched yet.
If I can get the dev permission to contact them to list verge before they start request for paid for I will do the contacting

I still did not get an answer. The Mac wallet seems to not work anymore for me. Is there anyway to import my coins which i stored on my paperwalet??

the mac wallet absolutely works. can you describe the issue you are having?

It unfortunately crashs when I try to open it

maybe the db is corrupted. try deleting all the blockchain info (except the wallet.dat)
then download a fresh copy of the chain from vergecurrency.de or cryptochainer.com
then open the wallet back up.

So is there any chance for me to access my balance on the paperwallet?

of course, import it into the core wallet

The core wallet = Mac desktop wallet, still does not work for me or do any other alternativ exist?
