I think the roadmap with dates would be bad.

if the date isnt met, then it looks bad on the dev of anything...

Projects that say, it gets done, when its done. look better to me.

than a project that says, ill get it done july4th...and then fail... or worse then have to say, well i meant july4th 2030....

lol

and how can anyone set a date for something, that theres no START date yet.

First you have to talk to the RSK for btc dev, and see what thats done....

then we can figure out how it works out for something else.

makes logic to me

The road map is fine. Mpst of the dates just say July.

yes, however some of them may be ready much sooner =]

Thats great!

So NOT having a date, sometimes means it gets done faster! Smiley

Hi guys,

I love this project and I've got some coins.

But concretly where can I spend them ?

Keeping coins just for speculation seems to be out of VERGE scope...

I know it's the newb question but can you give me a example (or link) where I can spend some XVG ?

Thanks!

roadmap is posted. should have some more checkmarks within the next week too =]

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/vergecurrency/vergecurrency.com/master/images/roadmap.png

Dev, do you thing that Ticks in circles should be more visible?

I had to try hard to see which things are completed, because ticks are not bolded, neither visible enough in my opinion.

Ticks should stand out to make a statement Smiley

What do you think?

yeah we can do that, but we aren't going to change the entire thing. maybe make the check marks stand out more.

this is the roadmap until it's complete, then we'll make a new one after all these things are done.

Will you guys be releasing a lite wallet and also an IOS wallet?? thasnk

weve already release a lite wallet. right now, we are looking into iOS options.

May I know pls when RSK contracts are scheduled to be released? Thank you.

they are still in testnet for bitcoin, so when they're completed for bitcoin, that's when we'll start. do you currently use RSK contracts for ethereum?

if so, what are the parts you like the most/least?

These questions are what I had in mind when suggesting approximate target dates for Road Map implementation.  Target dates provide guidance to those checking things out and ultimately provides confidence in Dev Team as they continue to implement according to projections - it builds credibility in the whole project which goes a long way in attracting and keeping new money and right new "New Mone" it's where is at.  Also a brief summary of each mile marker on the road map would help with those not necessarily tech savvy but ver money savvy.

we already have that on our website roadmap. maybe you need to ctrl+F5 so you can refresh your cache and see it.

Beautiful!!!

I agree. Posting due dates is a project killer. Don't drill down any further than quarters ("Due third quarter 2017" etc), gives you flexibility. Better yet, don't post anything until it's a certainty.

This is the simple reason I like XVG.  Dogedarkdev know his stuff and thus never fail.  Keep up good job Dev, hopefully I will become an XVG holder soon.

good potential but i dunno with the coin count and all other factors (and whales) this thing is just a pnd whore lol.
made some ok btc on swings the past 30 days here Smiley

Have you actually looked to compare how XVG is distributed compared to other cryptos? It's one of the, if not the, most normally distributed coins on the market. Statistically, there are no real whale outliers per se compared to the other cryptos.

Interesting, but are you basing on a rich list analysis ? Maybe it's just smarter whales spreading the coins to multiple addresses. Is there a way to know if different addresses are held in the same wallet ?

I'm excited about the newly redesigned Roadmap on our Website, particularly the goal of introducing RSK.  RootStock continues to be a big deal as evidenced by the shear amount of development the comparable platform is getting introducing their Smart Contracts.  These contracts at this point are ruling, at least in the ICO arena, and there seems to be a lot of hype for an ICO based on RSK.  With this in view I have a few questions:  How would implementing RSK benefit $XVG?  Is there community consensus on these benefits or even community knowledge about all the benefits this move provides?  Lastly, what's in place to promote the implementation of RSK unto the Verge Currency Network and all the benefits it might bring.  I'd love hear about this - cheers!
