Dev, will white paper be posted here? I'm excited to see what's in store.

Who is the owner of the web wallet, like owns the private keys? I noticed it says donate to wallet owner or something. I'd prefer to download the desktop wallet but it's been syncing for Hours and hasn't really moved...is there a quicker way to get it up to sync?

vergecurrency.de you can download the chain. its alot quicker. i run all 3 of our web wallets. (clearnet, tor, and i2p)

i did a pull request on their repo to add verge, but they havent been active since.. theres a fork in our github for that ;]

Great project but wallet is still out of sync. How long does it take to sync the Verge wallet typically?  I tried the vergecurrency zip file, I even tried replacing some of the files but nothing has worked.

where did you put the blockchain files? in the library applications verge folder?

yes you put them in the folder where your wallet.dat is. replace everything. it wont overwrite the wallet.dat

Do I need to backup the wallet every time that I send coins to my wallet from bittrex?

If you use the Core wallet yes, if you use Electrum wallet than no.
You just have to backup your wallet once.

I have tested the Electrum XVG wallet over I2P, works like a charm.

hello i haven;t been around crypto in ages, starting fresh yet again with this coin, im currently started mining it, but i have a question i have a amd gpu im mining the coin with scrypt sgminer, is that the best way or should i use another algo or program? also i downloaded the windows wallet but only getting 1 connection and slow wallet download is this normal atm?

wow from 4 sats now it went to 240 sat so lucky for those who keep their coin inside their wallets and forget about it for a while
