I don't mind running a full node but I am only connected to one peer and it's taking quite a while even on a fast laptop. I am not using a VPN. Is this normal? I am using the GUI on OS X.

Did you ever add the Addnode list to your conf, that was mentioned (again) 2 or 3 pages back? I think in response to you actually. its a huge list. |

Alright have one question.
I have transferred all my XVG's out of the exchange right into my wallet.
However, XVG installed on my Appdata\roaming folder what I don't want but ok for now.
I have an external drive encrypted where I want to store my coins.
What do I need to copy to my encrypted external drive so that I can safely delete my XVG folder from my C drive?
So when I want to use it again in the coming years, what do I need to load so that I see my own wallet again with all the coins in it?

In Finder, go to the Menu > Go > Go to Folder, the enter "~/Library/Application Support/VERGE/" You can put verge.conf and wallet.date files in there. |

Not sure why the increase and huge volume spike at this time, but we all know it deserves it!! Well done Dev. We, the community thank you for all your hard work. I have been here since the beginning (before even Verge days) and there hasn't been one moment where OUR Dev hasn't been updating and busting his @SS so kudos to you sir!! It is nice to see this volume spike, and would be even nicer to see it stick and grow to where we belong, on the top of Coinmarketcap!! |

There is a way to put your Wallet onto a USB key.
you'll have to search for directions. I never did it, but i kept meaning to. (keep?)
you have to point the install directory to the usb key ofc.
the wallet.dat file is the one you have to point to the usb key, that i dont recall. (instead of /roaming/verge)
im sure someone on here knows how, and can give better directions. (and google rules!) lol

So last night's surge gobbled up the last of my XVG that isn't in cold storage. Even though I have a few mill left I'm just going to leave it cold.
So for now, I'm effectively out of XVG, and even though I may be on the sidelines I only hope it continues up.
So if this is it for me, and it never comes back down, I still wish only the best for this coin. Great dev, great community.

Fill this form : https://poloniex.com/coinRequest Polo delisted 17 altcoin recently, so maybe XVG have little chance to get add. @Dogedarkdev Did poloniex staff still in contact with you, the last time they said "wa are looking into verge" as i remember. |
