I've got the desktop wallet fully synced also, but it still doesn't show my balance right( it says i have 0.00 XVG). Why is that?
Also, very often it just gets stuck at Loading block index.. , and i have to close it and open in again.

I've talked a little in the IRC chat about what is needed for marketing Verge. I am having heart surgery next week and wont be around for a while but once I recover I will be diving head first into starting a marketing group dedicated to the sole purpose of getting more people aware of Verge.

The team will need several different experience types. Here is a general list of what I will be looking for, and this is just off the top of my head:

A decent copywriter
Someone to write general content for blog posts, ads, etc.
A web page master, with Wordpress experience
A programmer with at minimum php and js experience
Someone who knows social marketing

We will need a few more positions as things get moving but that should get things rolling at first. My job will be organizing and managing, since I have 10+ years designing and selling software online I know a lot of what is needed but like most programmers I suck at actually getting it done myself. Us programmer types are best at organizing and suck at creative stuff. 

Anyone interested in joining the team please leave me a PM here and I will get to it just as soon as I possibly can.
I wont be around again until after my surgery so don't expect me to answer for about 3 weeks from now, 1 week to go for surgery, 1 week in hospital, and 1 week at home to rest up before I can get back online.

Any questions please ask Dev as he can verify I have discussed this with him and it was his idea for me to post here.

Look up the TXID in the explorer and see if it comes up. . .

I have similar problem on my windows 7 wallet as well.. first time when I run my wallet everything is working ok and wallet opens very quickly...but when I replace files with blockchain folder from vergecurrency.de to speed up sync time my wallet freeze at  loading block index...Do we have to replace in  %appdata% directory  folder colled "database" with 3 other files or only choose that files with blockchain? Because it seems that when replacing all 4 items in folder from that site wallet doesnt work anymore... anyone has solution for that?

How I did it:

Unzip using 7zip or other software

cut all the files in the unzipped folder

go to your roaming folder and find VERGE

Past the files in that folder (when asked to overwrite say yes)

restart the wallet. . . it will look like it's stuck at "loading block index" for me it was 10 minutes

Once that's done, you should be all set.

I have downloaded this wallet and downloaded the bootraps of this blockchain for syncing for 16 hours and now It has run ok.
If your wallet is stuck  you should close it and open it again but you must download the blockchain for fast sync.

Original wallet works great for me.

i let it sync from it.  took 3 days.

not sure if i needed to add the addnodes or not... i should have tried without first.

 but added em as soon as i started.  (bad tester! lol)

but synced up and looks great.

especially my balance!

I ve been holding for a long time.  (stopped mining last yr, as i got a new office, and by the time i got setup, it was summer! lol

Thanks guys for update...actually I did the same and I gave up after about 15 min...I will leave now for longer...if wont work I will then wait few hours or days to fully sync my original files...
