How to quit Gambling for good?

OP, there's a saying in the rooms of AA that "one is too many, a thousand is never enough".  And it applies to gambling as well.  If you're to the point where you're asking how to quit for good, then stop placing bets all together.  Don't visit casinos and stay away from the gambling section of bitcointalk.  Just stay away.  If that requires help then get it, but if you keep testing the waters then you're going to keep having the same problems.

Every religion are prohibiting gambling, and even considered as a sin.
But it is not change anything to our personalities that love to gambling , it is rooted in ourselves.
Quitting from gamble as not easy as people said, I have planned to quit from this crazy world since one year ago and I still gamble now .

You may want to indulge yourself into a hobby.  Gardening, cooking, baking, or rearranging the interior of your house, or repainting it.  Maybe you could help your mom to do the household chores.  You can adopt a puppy if you do not want to marry a woman with 5 kids!   Train him and teach him some tricks.  Just keep yourself busy and you will be good.

yes, absolutely right, But all of who's addicted in gambling has no determination to quit gambling, you know why? because they still playing and betting in gambling, and still continue staying on that position but they will just actually losing money.

I think it will be better if he marry a woman with 5 kids. Your hands will be full taking care of your woman and the kids, so you will not have any time left to do addicting things like gambling and drinking. If you still have time for gambling after that, then adopt a puppy and train it.

Well , if you talk about gambling you can see "addictive" word .
Unless you have motivation for quit gambling , you can't quit gambling. Or you can break your time to other activities rather than gambling.

Religion can be used to motivate yourself to avoid gambling or even stop using it, But If the guy is not the type to like being motivated I think it won't work

Best way to stop gambling is to consult it into psychiatrist could be expensive but If you really wanna stop gambling then this is a good option

that's right, I myself when stopped from addiction because of religion. especially if you deepen your faith, you can get away from something bad, like gambling.

You need to realize and convince yourself that gambling is not good and will take you to much more worse.Once you are convinced you need not any external help to quit.In my opinion you need to stay away of gambling sites or material to not have any attraction.You can totally cut off or not at all.Try to find other activities it will work for sure.

I personally tried so many tricks to quit gambling when i was into huge profit but i don't have control over my greed, the problem is that it is impossible for me to stay away from online so that i keep trying again and again to give try to my luck there, so that i can't give any suggestion there.
