What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started?

I was not interested in bitcoins when I first heard about it as I was very much busy those days with my newly joined job so was not having enough time to give it to bitcoins but when I saw the price went up like crazy it made me to think once again about bitcoins.

Me too was like that. When I heard about bitcoin at the beginning  I used to collect it from faucets. Then in the middle I lost interest in bitcoins and stopped claiming from faucets. Then again by the end of 2015, I started to develop interest in bitcoins.

It was very difficult when I was started into bitcoin.  Because, no one is believing me about it and I don't have enough money to sustain my expenses, and everyday I rented in the internet shop. Usually, I borrowed money to my friend then pay it every week according to my payout in the campaign. I patiently do it, its  started with a small amount  and I hold on to what I'm believing in about into bitcoin. And now I think I am harvesting the fruit of my labor since last year.

Early versions of the software contained Dragons.  Mining then was trying to get bitcoins from Dragons.  It was dangerous and several miners were lost.  After the switch from "Proof of life." to "Proof of work." bitcoin became much safer and more people started learning about bitcoins.

Those days are mostly forgotten.

True,most of us surely engage to faucets when we are newbie and you are right we do explore new things as the day goes and luckily we found out this forum which is really a big help in our crypto currency career and we still keep on learning and same as your I do learn about trading which I gain idea from the people's experience and the same time some trading lessons here.

I would like to know what experiences did you had when you first started with Bitcoins. As for me, I had many that I would like to share with you.

When I began in the Bitcoin world, I was a complete rookie with no proper knowledge of how did mining worked or anything about cryptocurrencies. I just thought about Bitcoin as another payment processor like PayPal. But when I joined the BitcoinTalk community, I learned so many things along the way. In my process of learning in the first days, I decided to invest into cloud mining services. Since I didn't knew much about it, I invested a plenty amount of Bitcoins to start my journey into it. During that time, I had gotten into many different services. Those were GAW Miners, then Cointellect, cloudminr.io and finally Hashnest. After getting scammed many times by the services mentioned previously, (except for Hashnest) I have lost many Bitcoins. As a result, I decided to never invest into cloud mining and thus dedicate myself into learning more about the cryptocurrency and look for other ways to earn Bitcoins. It was then that I enrolled into the signature campaign that I am currently into and during all that time I began to earn Bitcoins as well as diversify my investments into different alt coins. Now I am dedicated to trading Bitcoins and other alt coins, as well as working for it (like the signature campaign and working as a freelancer) in order to earn coins and build up my portfolio along the way.

Anyways, what would be your experiences with this exciting cryptocurrency? 

I have no proper knowledge on how earning the bitcoin and how to have it using campaign. I really don't know how to process it. I asked my friends about it, they got mad because I am importunate. If I'm not mistaken, I asked them how many times with the same question. I really want to learn on how to do and earn instead. But now I have a proper knowledge on earning the bitcoin. I learned a lot about it. I am also thankful for those my friends help me to teach on how to earn and how to make high profit to it.

nothing is wasted when you're studying in bitcoin. Faucets are made your patience be better at least you can know there are many other methods and better appreciate the various methods and you will know getting a lot of bitcoin is not easy

Agree. The more time you spend studying Bitcoin and its underlying technology, the more knowledgeable you will become, eventually making you an expert in the field with the possibility of having a career sometime in the future. As businesses and companies become more interested into Bitcoin's revolutionary tech, they will seek people who have the necessary skills to help them maintain and secure blockchains.

When you first start with Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency, you use faucets to help you earn satoshis, making you learn how sending and receiving transaction works. While this is not ideal for making an income out of it, it is great to gather the attention of newbies into using this system and expand their knowledge about cryptocurrencies.

I think it's the best way for beginners to make Bitcoin.

he told me that to make bitcoin, here (this forum) is better than faucet.

I guess we have the same knowledge at first with the OP.
I thought bitcoin was just a payment processing way at start.
I just did happen to bump at it because I needed to buy something at steam and there is this kind of payment. Want to try something new so I grabbed it.
A friend of mine have some bitcoin and said that he will pass me some just so I could try it.
Then after that I just learned that it could be a good investment.

Someone didn’t had money other then BTC to pay me for a service already delivered. So I finally accepted BTC, thinking something is better then nothing. Though didn’t understood the concept at start, like how it will work or why it will work.

After 2 days, I was able to sell the BTC easily to another user.

Soon I started gathering more info and started trading BTC. BTC was like 10$/BTC at that time.

I started mining too (it was pretty easy), though due to time issues, I left them as it is.

After sometime, BTC was in news for skyrocketing to 200$ . I started trying to login into my old mining wallets on hope that I might have some chunk of BTC (Free money oh yeah).

Gladly found that I had like 10 BTC mined ! Sold 5–6 BTC for quick easy money and my interest in BTC was back.

It was a perfect opportunity to invest into Bitcoin, as nowadays it became a very popular cryptocurrency gaining more interest from the masses each day. If I knew by then, that Bitcoin's price would reach levels of $1000 and beyond (after the Mt. Gox event), then I would've placed most of my money into the pioneer cryptocurrency.

In my early days, I believed that I was earning a good amount of money via faucets, but as I matured in the crypto world, I've that I had to look out for other ways to make good money with Bitcoin.

Nevertheless, I'm hope to learn more about Bitcoin each day, and become an expert in it.

Also, I got scam when I joined ponzie scheme just to received the return of investment fast. But the thing of this was Im thankful that Ive learned bitcoin since 2015 because this way I earn money.

For everyone here and all who are new to bitcoin have started same like earning from faucets and just storing them, they went from earning 0.1$ to 1$ to 10$ to even more and we always went more that is our nature, we are just hoping to improve with each time we earn money, but people get too greedy and start trying to get it the easy fast way like gambling, so as long as you are patient keep on going.
