@Distraction Hamilton had a chance to retire on a high note, but he didn’t and then failed to win the title and now I doubt that he can make a comeback and win it. Furthermore I believe that Max will be winning titles from now on and Leclerc at best might end up in the second position, but if Leclerc can win the title then only F1 races will become interesting otherwise the outcome will be too easy to predict.
Hamilton even shared the top of the list of all-time champions along with Michael Schumacher, amos with seven achievements. Unfortunately in 2021 he tried to lift another trophy in that ′′ fight ′′ he had with Max Verstappen until the last corners, but ended up being overtaken. And in 2022 he was even among the best, but he is far from getting the best placement in the Drivers' World Championship. Let's see how it will be in 2023, as Mercedes' promise is a competitive car, and the demonstration of this evolution already at the United States GP, left Hamilton excited for the contract renewal. Honestly, I can't imagine Hamilton out of F1 for now, this is his place, and he still has many years ahead of him to win another title. How long his years remaining would depend on how sharp his reflexes will remain good enough for F1. He's getting a bit old for the sport at 37. He could have around 5 more years or so before his reflexes start doing a cliff dive down. And here's the thing, F1 isn't like any other sport that it would be ok for somebody to compete professionally at 40. In F1, a deteriorating driver could be a danger to all the other drivers. As for Merc having a competitive car, I'd bet they'll have a better car than Ferrari.

I thought they wanted to close the calendar with Mexico and Las Vegas and I clearly see now that FIA has again changed their mind for something. It is great that we are starting the season early in March but I hope the decisions like that of FIA to change things whenever they see fit do not come through the season which can happen to be devastating to the competition between teams and a killer to it like it was the last year. For this new season I can't wait to see the Las Vegas race which I know for sure it will be the most beautiful to watch just seeing the layout of the track where it will be held in the capital of gambling in the world.
The Gp of 14-16 April is still to be assigned after China forfait. The biggest candidates are Portugal and Turkey.

It is of course the truth that Red Bull are in a much better condition than all of the remaining constructors. Mercedes and Ferrari both will need to make an extra effort to get close to their level in terms of car engine especially. If Red Bull maintain their superiority by the start of next season also then Verstappen will be too difficult to be stopped of course. Leclerc will continue to dream of a championship with Ferrari and it will be the same for Hamilton about his 8th title. However I still think Hamilton will continue to race for a couple more years to get the title. Because Mercedes had a promising car while we were nearly at the end of the season. If they continue on the development and work hard they can prepare a much stronger car for Hamilton to give it a shot.

Ferarri - Leclerc there will be have 2 scenario: 1. Due to the change of team principal, people, or team hoping we are gonna 2023 season. As long there has some change as well not only on the team principal but also on the team it self (PitCrew + Team Strategy. 2. For this one is adaption style for "Fred Vasseur". If this happening, then Ferarri are not gonna to chase 2023 and could be chasing for 2024 since Vasseur need some adaption how the team work in Ferarri.

Vettel is one of the most experienced drivers present. He may not be good enough to take another shot at the world championship, and besides, he doesn't have the car in his team. Maybe it's not a bad idea at all that he will drive as a kind of mentor / supervisor with a team. He has a lot of experience and I think he can also transfer his knowledge to young drivers who still have a lot of experience to gain. He will have to be open to it himself. You say goodbye to the podium chances and you can also put any ambitions on hold.

I agree that no racer with that much racing in them should retire, it wouldn't really be fair to their talents and he is still in a good team right now, so he can't be getting bored yet. I think next season Mercedes will have a team that could fight for second place easily, maybe even get it easily, all depends on what's going to happen. Ferrari changed their TP, which means they might be great too, but Mercedes developed their car very well and reached a good place too. Red Bull was already great, so I doubt that part would change. These three teams and their drivers will decide who will be the champion, and Hamilton could think why not me? And that's normal.

This would still be really nice of course. He would be a big help for Ferrari to grow very skilled and competitive drivers for the future. As Vettel was a really competitive one he would have a big influence on the young drivers from the academy. But it would have been even better maybe if he was to be brought to a higher position in the team. I don't know maybe he would have been a good choice for even the team boss. He has such a big experience in Formula 1 with big teams like Ferrari and Red Bull. He has had many championships in his career as well. I just can't think of a better boss than him among the available ones truthfully. He doesn't have any experience for such job though but still. But I hope that Vasseur still will be a good choice for the team and they will be reborn from their ashes.

He didn't retire just because he didn't want to race anymore, he retired because he wanted to spend more time with his family and it is understandable for him to time to time go somewhere, like lets assume he could be there watching the races for all the season, that's like missing 23-24 weekends every year, being out of the house for like 60 days max, meaning being at home for 300 days instead. That is good and understandable and means he is spending time with his family. But, if he becomes supervisor or something then that means with the travelling and all, he would be out of the house for 300 days and be home for 60, reverse of what he wants.

The FIA is unlikely to change something without prior consideration. Surely the FIA stakeholders have considered various matters related to the schedule, especially when we know that the Covid19 case in several F1 organizing countries has also increased, the FIA may change/cancel the venue where F1 is held in that country. However, I think that adding Vegas as the venue for F1 will be a challenge in itself for the drivers, because surely this will be a tiring and very competitive season. I hope that the next season will be a more interesting season and certainly provide exciting shows for F1 lovers.

Vettel has a lot of experience and might come back to Formula 1 one day, but at the moment I don't think so. Didn't he quit to have more time for his family and to promote environmental protection? So I don't think Vettel will return at the moment, maybe when his two children are older.

Audi is preparing itself for the 2026 season, they are now looking for people using google I have heard that Hyundai and Porsche are also preparing to join F1 by that season also. These two brands are the other strongest candidates to be seen here for now. But we will see how they will want to join this environment. Maybe both of them would like to provide engine to some teams. Ford and BMW are other brands in such speculations but there is no statement by their sides as far as I know. BMW are interested in endurance racing rather than F1 these days. Ford might be a more powerful candidate but we will see if it's true in the coming days.

It was actually strange that these big names have not competed in F1 before. They are pure race cars par excellence. But doesn't Hyundai already have a certain engine that they supply to a current team? Maybe I'm mixing things up now. 2026 is also quite far away, a lot of plans can change in this way. For the coming season I expect few surprises in terms of composition. Some teams could still change drivers, but the top teams will not replace drivers. Verstappen will also be very satisfied with Perez as 2nd driver.

Porsche is owned by VolksWagen, the same as Audi,so both teams represent a sole vendor from what I understand despite that when VolksWagen bought them they kept their technology but if you see a Volkswagen car,a Skoda,a Seat which are also owned by VolksWagen group it shows that they have almost the same instrument panel because of them being part of such vendor. It is interesting to see them in F1 however for me it is much more interesting to see Hyundai which is dominating the electric car market by a huge gap compared to any other vendor, they have also an unlimited budget as their president said "I don't care how much I spend,I only see growing in my vision" and that vision is true now with all the success that Hyundai has enjoyed.I can see them being the most interesting team to enter F1 by that year.

The latest gossip in the paddock is that Ferrari wants to get Newey to their team. While Red Bull is a winning team and have a winning car, Ferrari could both offer a bigger pay, but also they could work with "bring success back to ferrari again" challenge to table and could maybe convince him.
To those who do not know who Newey is, dude is the Chief Technical Officer, and basically all around car designer, the person who is responsible for the car to be as good as it can be, and won 11 constructors with his designs. So if Ferrari could get him, after getting rid of Binotto as well, they are on the right track for sure, maybe not this year but it shows they mean serious business. I am not sure if they could, but they are trying.

I have heard that Hyundai and Porsche are also preparing to join F1 by that season also.
Until now we have Audi officially coming in F1 in 2026. Porsche is very close to be official. The rumor for them was to enter With RBR but they denied it and they want to be an independent team. These are the most probable teams. We also have 2 small rumors for 2027 for Hyundai and Ford but we basically know nothing about it.

I have heard that Hyundai and Porsche are also preparing to join F1 by that season also.
Hyundai might be very likely to enter the F1 team, but instead of bringing the "Hyundai" brand it would be more suitable to bring their premium brand "Genesis" because this is a premium brand and already has global popularity. Especially at the G20 event last month, this is a car brand that carries the Presidents. So in my opinion it is better to bring this Genesis brand than Hyundai. And for Porsche, it looks like the brand will not be entering F1 after their deal fell through with the Red Bull team due to leadership overlapping issues. But even so, Porsche will probably continue to make approaches with several teams and it is possible that they will enter F1 in the coming seasons.

MotoGP is still on vacation, but several teams have released their presentation dates earlier this year, especially in January to March, although there are three teams that have yet to include their presentation dates. However, Dorna via their tweet published this yesterday and I can't wait to see the MotoGP motorbikes and the livery colors of each team that will be used this year.
