There is another risk of a cancellation of another Grand Prix on the calendar. This time the Canadian Grand Prix might be cancelled due to wildfires around Quebec. It is said that a field of over 900,000 hectares has been affected by this situation so far. If these wildfires can't be taken under control soon then it is likely for us to witness another Grand Prix being removed.

Of course I hope that they can put out the fires as they are killing the nature. However I hope they can do this as soon as possible. Because there will be 2 races removed from the calendar already and no race might come into their place later in the season. Because they have been talking about how tight their schedule is for this season already.

Today the MotoGP Mugello Race will be held again in fairly good conditions. Yesterday I watched the qualification and also the Sprint Race where Bagnaia, who was completely untouched by other riders after being overtaken by Jorge Martin, who not so long ago was immediately taken over by Bagnaia so that Bagnaia won the Sprint Race yesterday and was also joined by Marco Bezzecchi finished second and Jorge Martin completed third.

Today the weather was quite good and the race will definitely be very exciting even though there were two riders who did not participate in the race today, namely Alex Rins from LCR Honda and also Joan Mir from the Repsol Honda team. Both of them suffered injuries so they had to miss today's race, but the injury experienced by Alex Rins seems to be slightly more severe than that experienced by Joan Mir. This is a very ugly fact that has to be accepted by Honda in general.

I don't know why so few viewers have liked MotoGP since the retirement of Valentino Rossi, but to be honest, for a MotoGP race at Mugello, there will always be fun to watch. Especially on this day Luca Marini benefited by dropping three grids for Alex Marquez so that Luca Marini will immediately be in third place today because previously he was in fourth place after his record time was restored in yesterday's qualifying.

Maybe we should hope for a resurrection of Mercedes who might open the box of tricks somewhere and make the battle for the championship exciting again? In terms of technique it is of course nice to watch Verstappen, he gives it his all every race, but the best battle was the last race in the championship 2 seasons ago. It looks like Ducati will be winning again this MotoGP season and I think they have worked really hard to achieve such performances.They usually were focusing in the main straights and top speed before and they rarely won Championships with this type of approach and when they did it was always because of the skill of the rider like the example of Casey Stoner as the only rider who could win races with Ducati.

Now they are dominating completely in every single inch of the track.It is a shame for Honda and Yamaha who are left behind and this is very well demonstrated by Marc Marquez who keeps crashing because he want to get the maximum from his bike but Honda is not responding to his riding skills.

Next stop for F1 ; Canada.

A lovely track with awesome track history during the years but I really hoping to see a new winner because if we continue to see Max dominating like this , it will only make the situation worse for neutral F1 fans but it will also remind us of how dominant Michael was in 2003 with his Ferrari. Now , I don't think he will witness Redbull winning all the races but there are big chances that they will win 85% of the remaining races.

I think that this track is the one where we should least expect a different winner other than Redbull,it is a track which has it all,great turns which put a lot of test in the aerodynamics and it is exactly in these turns that the difference is made through the lap as in the big straights there is not a lot of difference between the top teams.Again here DRS plays an important role and overtaking is guaranteed here,I only hope that this track is more gentle to the tires as the turns here are only a few compared to Spain GP and this can make a whole lot difference in the developing of the race.

Ahh man , I really hope this will not be the case because this season looks more and more familiar with 2004 Ferrari with Michael on board and I remember watching it as a kid and it was a real pain to watch every race with Ferrari on 1st place and with my boy Kimi having engine failures one after another.  

Canada proved over the years that no matter how good you are and no matter how powerful the car is , this track won't forgive anyone and I would also assume this race will be chaos in track because for now , the fact that we barely had any crashes or safety cars made the season even more boring so yea , I expect dnf's , safety car and a new winner.

Then , yet again , I've said this over the last 2 races and nothing happened ...like it seems all the drivers are way more focused on a clean race instead of racing and I really don't enjoy to watch a race like that where drivers are way more concerned about the car and not to crash it because of the budget cap but come on ...F1 is all about racing and not full management of the car during the race.

For fans of MotoGP today is a highly anticipated day because the Mugello Race will take place in good weather. The Sprint Race and Qualification from yesterday were exciting with Bagnaia showcasing outstanding talent. Jorge Martin briefly overtook Bagnaia but Bagnaia immediately reclaimed the lead and won the Sprint Race. Jorge Martin came in third while Marco Bezzecchi took second.

Regarding today race the conditions are still favourable ensuring an interesting spectacle. But it is sad that two riders LCR Honda Alex Rins and the Repsol Honda team Joan Mir are not competing. Although Alex Rins injury seems to be more serious both riders were hurt and are unable to compete today. Honda has a difficult truth that they need to acknowledge. In spite of this supporters. Fans though are looking forward to the race and expect another exhilarating exhibition of MotoGP skill.

He should have 50 more points on the leaderboard so far but he did a lot of mistakes when he was leading.

I think this year he will have an easy job for the title...

So far no potential drivers have caught up with Verstappen and his car. Even drivers of the class Alonso and Hamilton couldn't catch up to him. He and his car are so fast, even the other team is frustrated enough to catch up to him. It seems that the history of SCHUMACHER and Ferrari will repeat itself for Verstappen and RBR in the current season and the next few seasons, but for sure it will end but no one knows when LOL.

Red Bull have got far ahead of Mercedes and Mercedes are newly trying to close this gap slowly. The same thing happened to Verstappen in the past seasons as well.

That season with a legendary competition between Verstappen and Hamilton was amazing. Mercedes need to develop their car to that level and it should be enough for a fair competition. Hamilton and Verstappen are the most skilled drivers on the grid right now so I don't see any other driver who can compete with Verstappen as much as Hamilton.

I think there are enough good drivers there that given a great car can fight Verstappen at least in the same level of performance of Hamilton and I would keep in this list,Leclerc,Sainz,Russell,Alonso and Perez,they just don't have a winning car except the case of Perez as I don't know why he must suffer the complex of inferiority against Verstappen,probably because the team does not support him as much as they do with Verstappen.

Nevertheless we need a team capable of performing not the same as Redbull,even a bit less but to be near them and it is up to the drivers then to show their skills in beating Redbull even with not the best car,we had the McLaren 1998-2000 era where they beat Ferrari even being the second best car thanks to Mikka Hakkinen.

It's actually surprising (I just saw the film LeMans66 this weekend) that Ferrari couldn't win for so long, unbelievable.

As an Austrian I can say that the last Ferrari winner 50 years ago was the Austrian Jochen Rindt. Congratulations to Ferrari for winning the 100 years LeMans race after the last victory 50 years ago.

I never thought Ferrari will snatch the title from Toyota. Those guys at Toyota Gazoo Racing know how to handle their cars well and how to tune their cars for this endurance race. Ferrari did a great job this year, and I'm looking forward to them staying at this level for the next 24-hour race, though we all know that the Japs will surely come back from this and try to get the next title. It's true that the Japanese are excelling in automotive sports lately, specially on the manufacturer side of things. The Westerners can come close, though not surpass Japanese tuning.
