Still not paying out for me.
re-added my address yesterday, payout threshold set to 1, currently have 1.18 confirmed credit.
Yes, we are aware and have made changes this morning to remove the extra validation that was slowing payments down, was just coming to make a post Smiley
I am here waiting for payout to run and top up hot wallet as required.
I would also prefer the coins were in the miners wallet than mine
Cheers
Graet

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Ozcoin Update
We have been doing a lot of work on the site lately
Stratum and VarDiff being most noticable to miners and the best solution currently.
Our implementation of VarDiff allows miners a per worker choice between dynamic with a target of 18shares per minute, user set range of 1 - 10000 or off which defaults to 1.

We have more plans for the near future so I thought I'd take a moment to share where we are up to and our plans going forward.

Stratum
Stratum and VarDiff have been implemented on stratum.ozco.in and au.ozco.in
Coming soon stratum on us1.ozco.in and a european server
Note: No merged mining on Stratum

Ecoinpool
We will continue to run Ecoinpool on servers it is currently running on but will not deploy to any further mining nodes. Unless it is updated soon Version 2 blocks will break it, at which time we will need to turn it off.
Merged mining will continue on Ecoinpool
No varDiff is planned

Servers
We plan to restructure our servers
The server that is currently us.ozco.in will become our www server
The current www/db server will be retired (the most expensive to host)
The us.ozco.in mining subdomain will be moved to the us1 server

After the restructure we will have 2 US stratum nodes and one each in AU and EU
We will continue to run 1 ecoinpool node in US, EU and AU for as long as possible
The worker page on site will always have up to date mining node information

Timing
I am taking my family away for the weekend, when I get home I will move the mining subdomain DNS's and we will start working on the new www server.

Other
Payout issues finally resolved,
Some miners still need to go to User Account > Pool Options and put in a payout address after the recent hiccup.
If your Confirmed Credit is greater than your threashold for more than an hour please contact me either by PM, email or on IRC.

Hall of fame Bitcoin donators - I have a horrible feeling that during a frenzy of deleteing forum spam I also deleted this, will look at reinstating it asap.
Measures will be taken to reduce forum spam

Looking for someone with the skills to make 480 by 60 ad banner to put on some sites, PM me if you can help, I would be happy to pay 2 -3 BTC for a nice job Smiley

I think thats it for now

Best wishes
Graeme

Graet I think there is a problem with Vardiff

I have used the same worker on two Stratum rigs.

and I have set the workers VarDiff to Dynamic

On one rig the diff goes up to 10.

and even on the 100Mhash rig the diff goes to 10.
 I don't think the 100MH/s can do diff 10.

and do you change dynamic diff by connection?

And I don't want to create multiple worker.

I just want a GLOBAL worker for all my rigs

at those speeds you could turn var diff off, there is no advantage, this will give you diff1 work on all the rigs on your GLOBAL worker

Might be a good time for a reminder that VarDiff is designed for fast hardware, currently mini rigs soon asics

I have 15GH/s more coming this week.

and if you want you can check my username on Ozcoin  to see the GH/s I have and my Ozcoin username is "betatest512"

So can you please try to make Dynamic VarDiff work separately for each authentication.(Try talking to Blaksmith about this)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the whole point of having multiple workers to avoid problems like this?

As far as I could tell in code, it is supposed to be "per connect", not "per worker".  In dynamic mode, you should be able to have one running at 5GH, and another at 200MH, and it would set the 5GH at one value, and 200MH at another.  I will have to verify though, now that it has been pointed out.

betatest512, Just to verify, on your mining screens, assuming 2 separate mining instances, both are submitting the same value of 10 that was set by the faster worker?

EDIT:
But, if you are using a proxy to push both of your workers through the proxy, then it will set both to the same value, because there will only be one connection, and all values set would apply to that single connection.

yes that and most miners with larger farms find it is easier to use a worker per rig for monitoring and so idle worker notifications work,

Yes I am using Stratum-proxy.

Your stratum and dynamic difficulty appear to be working very nicely. Well done. The nice thing about your vardiff is that once it has found the right difficulty it does not fluctuate. This is important with stratum because of the potential for lost work +/- rejects across difficulty changes, which I see alot of with EMC for example. You also seem to have made good inroads into the speed of block change detection closing the gap on slush markedly.

Now if slush would just fix that issue with Stratum ... (lost shares) ... by putting the difficulty in the work ... ... ... I'd have nothing to complain about it Cheesy

(though the pool handling of stratum reconnects may also need fixing if shares are thrown away due to that)

It does already but as you are connecting through the proxy on the same worker we cannot distinguish the difference between your machines, your proxy gives us 1 connection, we give it work at the difficulty for your total. This is to do with the proxy, nothing we can do poolside to change that.
While we were testing I put 3 rigs on same worker on variable diff and they all had different difficulty.

Solution use latest cgminer to connect direct using same worker details on each instance
