I am new to mining , thanks for software and all the help, I just have a problem. I am seeing the devfee show up in log but have not seen any transactions at this point. This maybe normal because of my low 13mh but like I said I am new. One more question I do not use as "worker ID" is it mandatory?

@Claymore
The '-r -1' command line option is not working correctly in version 10; it still retries the initialization instead of closing.

When you start a miner, one card shows 511 degrees! Lord, I do not know what to do ( Card RX480 Sapphire
It's not possible for your card to be 511°C. Must be a false reading. Check Radeon Settings temperature reading to determine if the problem is Claymore, AMD or your card. If the card shows 511 c degree, that mean the card crashed. You need to reduce the frequency. 99 times out of 100 511C means a PSU/RISER problem look at the connectors at the PSU PSU/RISER PROBLEM LIKELY-- I agree with Klassje. It is likely that a riser is bad. Old, skinny-version risers get really hot and sometimes melt with dual-mining, and even new risers go bad. It is interesting to note that if the problem occurs, the "511C" figure is common. I have had the same readout; the card was good but the riser was bad. I would stop the rig and change risers before mining again. --scryptr

v10.0:
- added assembler kernels for ETH+LBC mining mode (AMD cards only), major speedup for LBC. - about 1% ETH speedup for Vega cards. - fixed issues with voltage/clocks management for latest AMD blockchain drivers (not completely). - new GPU sorting method for NVIDIA cards. Now GPUs are sorted by physical bus index (it matches AfterBurner list of GPUs). - for ETH+LBC mining mode maximal "dcri" value is 1000 now. - added "-platform" option. - added "ESTALE" option support in failover file epools.txt (see "-estale" option for details). - several minor bug fixes and improvements.
Thx Claymore: I tested it on my Part Time Gaming PC / Miner Rig / Tester Rig, everything is working great: 3.5% more MH/s while decred dual mining, on my RX580 (29.5MH/s) and RX560 (14.15MH/s) cards, voltage set on miner, undelrvolt ok, overclock ok, temp control ok, power consumption seems to be at the same levels, I must confirm with more time. The PC is more unstable but I guess it's due the beta drivers. I will begin installation on my Mining Rigs tomorrow. I have only one question, What are environment variables in "epools.txt", "dpools.txt" and "config.txt" files?, Can use them to define different pools or variables for several workers on the same file, I cant found information about it. Thx again, paying gladly my 2% fee =) P.S.: Anyone has tried gaming on these drivers?, I have two SSDs on this PC, one for tests and one for gaming, so far I always have installed everything that works on the test SSD to the main one, this time I have my doubts.

config.txt is the miner configuration file. You can use it to set the miner parameters instead of specifying them in the command line or .bat file. epools.txt and dpools.txt are where you can specify failover pools in case the main pool go down. If the main pool specified in the configuration file goes down, the miner will switch to the other pools listed in epools.txt (for ETH) and dpools.txt (for the secondary coin when dual mining).

Hi @ all,
i tried today Dual-Mining with Ethereum and Decred the first time. Unfortunantely crashing my system just seconds after I start the miner. In the Ethereum only mode absolutely no problem - the system run days respectively weeks without any issues.
Any ideas? These rig runs with Windows 10, 2 AMD cards (RX 480/8GB & R9 Nano) and with 8GB RAM. The pagefile have already 16GB and the power supply provide 450W. The driver is the "special blockchain driver" from AMD.
Thank you in advance.

Thank you, but I know that, I am using them, that's why my question, I want to specify in these files settings for different workers as this files are synced across several Rigs through the cloud. I found this on the README file: "You can also use environment variables in "epools.txt", "dpools.txt" and "config.txt" files. For example, define "WORKER" environment variable and use it as "%WORKER%" in config.txt or in epools.txt.", I want to know more about this, how to use this option. Thx Carlos

A 450 W PSU isn't enough for two cards when dual mining. With no undervolt and power limit settings, a RX 480 and R9 will pull over 200 W each dual mining.

i cannot see any difference between this new release and previous release. Same hashrate, but stability is the issue with new version. previous version can run up to 400 hours before i reset the rig.

I did not change anything related to "-r" option in v10.0, so the same issue must be in previous version too. Anyway, I will check it and fix in next update.

Wow, i can´t believe that, the RX480 has an TDP from 150W, the Nano 175W. Perphaps i should mention that i run both cards with an reduced power target. The complete system needed in Ethereum only mode under 350W. Is the power draw in dual mode really so much higher?

Hi: In my experience dual mining consume more power and stress more the GPUs, you could need to increase a little your voltage if you are undervolting around 875-925 mV, check the log file for the GPU that hangs, then add 10mV at first to the settings of that GPU, keep trying until you get no hangs for 24 hours, you could decrease you clocks too, I am guessing here that you are using a modded GPU. If there is no hanging in the log file then it must be the power supply. Good luck, Carlos

Thank you, i tried already different voltage settings but always the same, the system crashes within seconds whenever the miner begin to mine 2 currencies . What i have not tried yet, an older Claymore version, another driver and a test run with only one card.

Depending on your power settings, the cards will use 30-50% more power when dual mining e.g. my RX 580 8GB card uses 101 W ETH only mining and 131 W dual mining with DCR, shown in GPU-Z + add another 45-50W for the riser.

Some more information on your settings would be helpful, post your Claymore configuration (the .bat file and the config.txt file - if you use the config.txt file) and the pool you are using. It depends on which pool you are using whether you need "worker" or not; if you mine directly to a wallet address then you, usually, don't need "worker" and some pools need "your_user_name.worker_name" in the command line. EDIT: e.g. Mining on DwarfPool the configuration would be like this (no 'worker' needed).. EthDcrMiner64 -epool eth-eu.dwarfpool.com:8008 -ewal 0xd7236c7bB066725C33DAE910A947aE40D565B66E -p x -esm 2 -epsw x -allpools 1 -allcoins 1 -ftime 10 Mining on MiningPoolHub the config is (username & worker required. No wallet address required - this is set in the pool web page) EthDcrMiner64 -epool europe.ethash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:12020 -ewal your_username.WORKER -eworker your_username.WORKER -esm 2 -epsw x -allpools 1 -allcoins 1 -ftime 10
