Need some help, I have 12 cards in a system. I can run the 7 Nvidia with no issues. And I can run 3 of the 5 AMD cards with no issues, And I can run each of the 5 AMD cards solo, but  if the other 2 are allowed to run with other cards it crashes my GUI. And Apparently windows but the remote client stay alive during this crash because I can DC and reconnect to it but its just a black screen, and it appears to still has for 3-5mins after this event crashes the gui, but I see nothing in windows error logs.

Are there and logs that can upload to trouble shoot the issue?

Still happening. Rig has 8 gb of ram and a 32 gb swap/VRAM and a quadcore cpu. and help is appreicated.

I am poor, but i do work for Coin Smiley

Hi,

I just need to verify something about the amd beta blockchain driver.
I have a rig 8 GPU RX580 Gaming 8 Go (Hynix), in june i got 242 MH/s.
Actually in august i obtain 233 MH/s, in order to solve this drop MH/s, i installed this beta blockchain driver i got 248 MH/s, but i met issue with GPU clock speed frequency alternatively jumping 1000 to 1300 MHz.
Is somebody here met the same issue and find solution to solve this?

Thank you for help.

Had the same problem with my RX570, also befor kernel update. I flashed only 1 clk level to the RX570, after that they run fine.
With the RX4X0 i had no Problems to set the clk with rocm-smi, they run stabel

I have no issue with official driver, i only meet this issue gpu clock frequency jumping alternatively non stop from 1000 to 1300 MHz with the beta blockchain driver.
I dont see what you mean, you flashed only 1 clk level to solve this issue?

Can you undervolt with the blockchain driver?

Yes, but only with Afterburner version beta 4.4.0.16, i found it on the link below, i tried to undervolt it was ok for consumption, but jumping issue always there.
https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/rtss-6-7-0-beta-1.412822/page-32

I can report that undervolting via Trixx is working, without the jumping issue.

What version of TRIXX?

The latest v6.4 found here:

I build and sell rigs! I also sell ssd clones of the most stable Windows+Claymore+AMD driver combo you'd ever used.

guys , is it possible to mine with claymore on two wallets? i support a lot of rigs and i want to take percent to my wallet like devfee to claymore. now i only use dual mining to my wallet but i want percent of ethereum.

Why don't you use a percent of your rigs to mine to your wallet?

i want percent of others to mine to my wallet.

to me this seems like you're on the dark side already - rogue mining...

BE CAREFUL with ETHPOOL

oh finally i was watching my miners and I notice some of my miners will get the message "share rejected by pool"

then they disconnect you you get

or cannot connect to "US1.ethpool.org:3333"

then disconect and the re-connect, and then some of the rigs cards only hash at 8.345 and some rigs even just die.

Its a persistent problem, I will give it a few more days then I', m moving my hash to nanopool , its really fking anoying man

I have seen that before but with the new blockchain drivers rigs are more sensitive to crappy pools and constant disconects

I just use Nanopool, havn't had a problem with them. Ever

Finally I found a workaround for ADL undervolting bug in latest blockchain drivers, I will release new version within 24 hours.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Since AMD won't be updating the blockchain drivers, you may as well say that this is probably the last time you have to deal with this ! Happy holidays

they made another "blockchain" version of their drivers ? Wow, thanks, I missed this one. Will give it a try tomorrow.

Hi Mr Claymore,

I installed latest ROCm drivers on my ubuntu 16.04.3 (latest update/dist-upgrade) with 4 RX480.
I still need the amdgpu-pro drivers (using latest) for openCL.
I tried using the ROCm OpenCL module(s) even MIOpen-OpenCL, but it fails that way:

Make sure you defined GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
Be careful with overclocking, use default clocks for first tests
Press "s" for current statistics, "0".."9" to turn on/off cards, "r" to reload pools, "e" or "d" to select current pool

clearly it seems the AMDGPU are not detected correctly...

I've heard that AMDGPU-Pro drivers were not good, and maybe ROCm implementation would improve performances or control (hope for ADL library?)... but currently it is not working at all.

Anyway, ROCm drivers with AMDGPU-Pro OpenCL works like a charm.
rocm-smi moreover give me new information like electric power... It will be important for my automatic optimisation...

BTW thanks for your work. Happy to mine for you 1%.

Does 9.9 give any boost for the blockchain drivers?  are we finally going to be able to use undervolting on the Vega FE?

Vega FE can already be undervolted with the block chain drivers and claymore 9.8.

Any one else having problem with Win10 freezing?
I really like getting 117mhs again with my 4 cards but if this driver is just going to give headache after headache Im rolling back to Win7 and keeping my 105mhs.
I lowered mem from 2150 to 2100 and it ran a bit longer (previously 10 minutes before crashed windows) but its still crashing the system. Will new miner address issues with Win7 and blockchain drivers? Can anyone give advice for Win10 crashing with new drivers?

I have 2 rigs with RX580: W10+Aug11 Blockchain drivers=have no issues - works flawlessly for weeks.
I do OC sanely though. Try to run it with default settings.

Hi TechPark, how many GPU's you have on each rig, miner Claymore v9.8 and setting? what motherboard?

each card hashes at 29.5-29.7 MHs

1: 6x RX580 - 9.8 - MB - ASRock B250 Gaming K4 Motherboard
2: 2x RX580 - 9.8 - MB - ASRock B250 Gaming K4 Motherboard

Same setting on both rigs:

-epool asia1.ethpool.org:3333
-ewal YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.ZZZZZZ
-epsw x
-dbg 1
-r 1
-mport XXXX

Ideally you want to have 0 errors.
When you ping continuously pool IP address what is the latency?
Did you select the closest to you pool (geographically)?
Have you tried another pool?
Are you on WiFi or cable?
What is the value in ms for submitted share in claymore?
