Hello. 9.8 seems to be incorrectly accepting shares at least once per day. My other rig on 9.7 does not exhibit this issue. The logs show that shares are found and accepted during the 30 minute window where this appears to occur, however they are not appearing in Nanopool. Nanopool shows 0 for reported hash rate. Am I missing something? To be clear, this isn't the DevFee as I see where that connects, mines for a minute, and then disconnects. Emailed Nanopool but haven't heard back from them. Given it's not happening on my other rig and I'm not seeing any explicit errors in the logs for this rig, it leads me to believe something is different between these two versions. Nanopool graph (with two dips over 24 hours) is here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B67WP7dNsqwjcFMwSVA4TjhQODA/view?usp=sharing

hi everybody
changed my mind to mine dual now instead of eth solo, and I am dissapointed with my results
I only get 28 mh/s on every gtx 1070 and 280 mh/s on decred but I saw people with similar oc: 72% power limit, -60 core and +550 memory clock, obtaining around 700 mh/s on decred
eth only I usually get 30 mh/s
otherway, on siacoin I get 27 mhs and around 500 mhs
so what is the problem here?
any help?
I`ve just tried to lower my power limit from 85% to 72% and lowering my core to -60 (was +100) on gtx1070 and show maybe -.2 mhs on Eth speed. Mining eth+Sia(Claymore 9.7) gives me depending on the card memory (Mem clock ranging in AfterBurner from 4400 mhz(Hynix) - 4600 mhz(Samsung))from 31.5 to 32.5 mhs and SIA=400 mhs. So the first thing to improve is eth/sia ratio and it`s done with the -dcri value in Claymore to mine less shitty SIA vs ETH. I`m using: -dcri 38. You`r mining Sia at 500 and I mine that at 400 mhs. Could use Claymore keyboard commands +/- to fine tune the -dcri and then add to ur command line the best value. Suspect that u have the same problem with decred (dcri). Ur mem clock might be low, depending on the mem default settings ur card have +550 mean nothing here, all my card are at more than +550, check ur memory brand and try to adjust according to that, for ex. my best gtx1070 with Samsung mem = +800 ultra stable. Good luck!

Aynone dual mines on dwarfpool? I am getting the following error. PASC: Stratum - Connected (xmr-eu.dwarfpool.com:8050) PASC: Stratum Error: { "code": -1, "message": "invalidmethod" } PASC: Authorization failed : { "code": -1, "message": "invalidmethod" } Are you trying to mine XMR? If so you're using the wrong software or at least posting on the wrong thread. This is for Claymore's ETH miner, not XMR. It can't connect to xmr-eu.dwarfpool.com because that is XMR which uses a different algorithm this software doesn't support.

you have to pump dcri to 70+ to get higher secondary coin for NVIDIA and possibly increase power and core clocks to get the results you want.

you have to pump dcri to 70+ to get higher secondary coin for NVIDIA and possibly increase power and core clocks to get the results you want. -dcri 70 ..... For DCR? His primary (ETH) coin hashrate not high enough, why wasting times tweaking secondary at first? And like I post previously (post: 15571) +Core and +power mean an insignificant gain and a significant power usage on my gtx1070`s at least on eth+sia, but I`m to lazy to try eth+dcr. Eth = memory intensive algo, so why not tweaking mem first...?? Unless you prefer to mine more secondary coins. At -dcri 70 = losing 2 mhs of eth easy, from 32 to 30 mhs on gtx1070, so guess it depend on which coin your prefer to mine... Right now on whattomine by a pretty small margin eth:32 mhs + Sia: 400mhs = better short term profit vs eth:30 + Sia:700(- dcri 70). Math might be different with dcr, Sia right now worth nothing, might give dcr a try...

Having some weird issues with 9.8 + "blockchain driver" with 6+ gpu's.
Rig 1 (6x470) won't dual mine eth + dcr... it freezes / reboots / crashes. It mines ubq/music/etc + dcr just fine.
Rig 2 -- same issues. I added a 7th (470's) gpu today and now it won't even mine ETH only (can't create dag on random gpu #)
I don't think this driver is compatible with 9.7? I have no issues on other rigs that are 500 series.
=========
Edit: Doh pagefile was not set to 16gb for some reason.

Hey guys,
I'm thinking about giving the blockchain beta driver another try, would installing it without the bios signing patch make a difference? Also Sapphire Trixx worked without issues with my modded RX480 but last time I got lower hashrate than normal driver 17.4.4, should I give AB beta 16 a go?

I'm having a weird setup issue. Any help is appreciated.
My rig: Windows 7 x64 (Genuine), Asus RX580 ROG/STRIX T8G.
With drivers 17.7.2, I decided to update to 17.8.1 After updating and running the dual miner, my screen went blank and then turned into beautiful rainbow snow.
Restarted into Safe Mode with DDU, removed everything. Disabled group policy for Windows to auto-install drivers.
Restarted into normal mode. Disabled Avira. Installed 17.8.1 Clicked to install ReLive. Was showed an error that my display driver failed to install.
Restarted into Safe Mode with DDU, removed everything.
Restarted into normal mode. Disabled Avira. Installed 17.7.2 after fresh download. Everything seemed okay. Clicked to install ReLive, shown same error: display driver failed to install.
I'm using a beta version of Avira Antivirus Pro. Do you think it is still interfering even though I'm disabling it?
Do you think my VRAM is corrupt/bad? Do you have any solution steps to get an AMD driver installed? Next I'll DDU and attempt the minimalistic driver. Sigh.
Artifacts are usually signs of too much overclocking or hardware issues. Personally I do not think Avira i sthe problem. This is what i would do: - disable, reset and revert all overclocking changes - switch to the second, default BIOS - uninstall all GPU related software (Trixx, MSI, GPUZ and etc) - use DDU in safe mode - install 17.7.1 - run Furmark benchmark - monitor the Temperature, CPU and Memory frequencies in Wattman - if all good run miner - default claymores bat - take note on every step - take screenshots Post results here.

Having an issue on one mining rig after having to wipe drivers and install from scratch.
When running claymore everything works fine, but slowly it kills the internet connection on the machine. The latency gets worse and worse until I can no longer TV into it. If I shut down claymore the problem goes away. I've tried 9.7 and 9.8. Using AMD driver 17.6.2.
Anyone else run into this?
I'll also add I can mine with claymore monero miner just fine. It doesn't cause any interference with the network.

What's everyone's thoughts on mixing brands of cards? 2 x MSI 1060 + 2 x Asus 1060 for example. Is this more work with managing OCs?

In Ubuntu, "ps" program will show the miner process with all the parameters. Is it possible to embed all my settings in a config file, so that when I run the program in Ubuntu, the parameters don't show up in "ps" or "top"?
So, when I need to run the miner, I just have to run something like "EthDcrMiner".

At around 12:00 am (GMT) my hashrates dropped by 1-2 MH/card in all my rigs!
Does this has something to do with the DAG drop we have been hearing about?
BTW, some of my rigs run the new beta drive from AMD (for blockchain) and they also suffer from this hashrate drop.

Hi Claymore
Have you managed to replicate the issue with 12 gpu systems issue: on version 9.8 if you have more than 3 amd cards in a rig of 11 or 12 gpus ethdcrminer hangs on Algorith ASM, if you start the instance with 3 amd cards and the rest nvidia then it starts mining. then you have to start another instance of ethdcrminer with the remaining cards, . This issue was also experienced by a youtube channel Cryptomined where he had to have multiple instances on 9.8 running in order to use all the cards. When all cards are selected after the cmd window hangs nothing but a hard reset solves the hang. Hope that helps, if you need any more info or troubleshhooting with this regards you can let me know. thanks

I just have a question about the miner.
I've being mining over like 7 months now. With 6x Rx580 Sapphire 8 GB.
All my cards were giving me 29,9 stable. And now one of my cards drops to 9 / 8 / 10 / 11 mh/s out of nowhere.
Is the card brikked or is the configuration wrong ? This is the start-up line I use when I am mining.
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eth-eu1.nanopool.org:9999 -ewal WALLETNAME.Setup01-Miner/EMAIL -epsw x -mode 1 -ftime 10
I flashed the cards with the Hynix 30 mh/s rom file. And use the AMD Wattman to boost the core to 1350 , and memory to 2200 stable.
Should I try another miner or version to fix the drop for 1 card or ?
What I see as well when the DAG is being crated - the first 5 cards are like 4080 something. And then the one card is 9000 how is that possible ?
Thnx !

Hi guys,
I have one question about dual mining and speed for it on different OS.
I tested 2 OS configurations... Windows 10 + Claymore 9.8 -> hashrate was 11MH/s for ETH and ~350 for DCR
EthOS newest version -> hash rate was 10,5 MH/s for ETH and ~180 for DCR
Do anybody have some informations about drop of hashrate for DCR? It was just something about half compare to windows....
I tested EthOS because I bought some Asrock H110 and I plug 13 AMD cards and windows cannot handle it.
Any suggestion why it have so big dropdown in hashrate against windows? Or can someone share his experience?
Thank you very much for any advice
