The diff depends on the pool, and even the socket. Even then if the dev fee uses the same pool and socket, but it's a variable difficulty socket, then the difficulty can be set lower when it makes the new connection and probably won't even settle in to your normal difficulty by the time the dev fee mining is over.
That's why you should look at the amount of time spent dev fee mining, rather than purely the number of shares. Number of shares doesn't mean anything if you don't know the difficulty of each.
Great feedback! Thank you! How can i double check the amount of time the program mines on behalf of dev?

Using 8x GPU Nvidia GTX 1070 FE, on windows, Asus Prime z270-a works like a charm 32.100 Mh/s on each card total power 860Watt/h. but i had a big time hassle while i was trying to install the 8th card cos of the cheap m2->PCIe connector , everything solved when i use a better m2 ->PCIe from amazon --->> Explomos M.2 Key
What MB settings did you use? And which M.2 port is used to connect?

It's probably connecting do a different pool with lower difficulty shares for the dev fee. Check your logs.

Hello, Just want to know how I can put a minus value on core voltage. I know that core voltage is set by using -cvddc -cvddc set target GPU core voltage, multiplied by 1000. For example, "-cvddc 1050" means 1.05V If I want to put -96mv, how do I calculate this ? Thank you

Okay, after 3 months of mining during the last couple weeks rig has been freezing and the last line of the log file indicates:
GPU got incorrect temperature 511 ignore
What the hell does that mean? Since I got this message, rig has been doing this at random times. Sometimes it'll take 7 days, sometimes 5 days. I just don't get what's wrong with my rig.
If these are failing risers, they shouldn't even last more than 24 hrs mining, but they're stable AF until this message.

Thoughts?

I build and sell rigs! I also sell ssd clones of the most stable Windows+Claymore+AMD driver combo you'd ever used.

They go bad, especially the skinny models (older) with floppy-disk molex connectors. The wires melt. I hope that your GPU is OK. Test it in a slot on the motherboard with no riser, and by itself. If the card works, it is likely the riser. --scryptr

What MB settings did you use? And which M.2 port is used to connect? Mobo bios settings for this build are: 1->>Sistem Agent(SA)Configuration->Above 4G Decoding>> Enable 2->>DMI/OPI Configuration->DMI Max Link Speed>>Gen2 3->>Peg Port Configuration->PCIEX 16_1 Link Speed>>Gen2 4->>PCH Configuration->>PCIe Speed>>Gen2 5->>Onboard Devices Configuration->>HD Audio Controler->Disabled ->>M.2_1 Configuration->Auto The card is connected to the farther M2 slot from CPU This are my settings on Asus mobo running 8 NVIDIA GTX 1070 FE 32.100 MH/s, but make sure you use the M2 adapter on amazon->>Explomos M.2 Key Hope it helps .

I got this error when one of the fans on an RX580 failed. I don't know how long it was running with one failed fan but when I noticed the failed fan the card was very very hot !

Is this needed if we have 8 GB cards ?
GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
Can this prevent OpenCL call, exits from your experience or something else? I know this is because of heat or OC but can be also because of missing above code ?

I got this error when one of the fans on an RX580 failed. I don't know how long it was running with one failed fan but when I noticed the failed fan the card was very very hot ! In that case, the temperature was so high that the card itself couldn't measure it and that's why you got GPU got incorrect temperature 511. That's my guess.

hi claymore sir, i want to know about power consumtion of claymore. your miner use to much power in dual mode and little bit more in single mine, why your miner is using high power compare to gnoil or ethminer...

Hello, I'm trying to set up Claymore, but it keeps crashing. Using EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal 735941e61d9a1387db1e6ec1d26bed71e996b4c8.1070rig -epsw x I'm getting 12:59:18:139 904 CUDA error - cannot allocate big buffer for DAG. Check readme.txt for possible solutions.
12:59:21:155 904 Set global fail flag, failed GPU0 12:59:21:155 904 GPU 0 failed. I'm using 6x1070 Asus Strix. I did incrase page file on disk, Try using option -lidag Card what errors randoms as well. Any suggestions?

When I still had my 8-gpu rig consisting of MSI Gaming X 580 4gb elpidas, I'm having similar problems as you. They're smooth and all but they only hash 29.6 if all eight cards are connected.
If I only plug 4-5 cards, they hash a terrific 30.1 up to 30.3 each.
I've created a thread here, in another board and even in ethermining sub of reddit but apparently, not too many miners have 8-gpu rigs to contribute their thoughts.
I'm in the process of building 8x Nitro+ 580s on Saturday and I hope and pray that it's not going to be the same experience as the Gaming X's.
lol... I've got seven 570 rigs with 8*MSI gaming, 8*asus expedition, and 8*Nitro+ mostly elpida, some of those also have 2-4*1060 Palits 6Gb all on Asrock h100 btc. The issues I'm having with dual claymore v10 & blockchain drivers: 1) the main problem is that some cards like to go down to 24-25 from regular 28-29. On some rigs first boot is almost guaranteed to be this way, often it's 28,25,25,25,25,25,25,25... but on anothers it may come in a few hours after reboot. (if it comes later the cards become very unstable and often crash, even on 1800Mem and 1080Core settings. Didn't check the stock timings yet...) Sometimes these all can lead to win hung, but now just installed watchdogs, so this is partially solved:) 2) Another issue is that Nvidia may fail to allocate dag and several reboots(sometimes even 5-6) may be required to get rid of this error. Also may lead to win hang. 3) And finally extremely irritating issue with EthMon: I've got one rig (one of the clones, so nothing special about it) that after 10-20 hours looses connection to EthMon, and will appear red, although working fine. Curious what mobo do you use with your 8x gpu rigs? Also, are you having a similar problem as mine? 8x gpus mine slower when all is connected ? or they mine the same as connecting a single GPU? Using 8x GPU Nvidia GTX 1070 FE, on windows, Asus Prime z270-a works like a charm 32.100 Mh/s on each card total power 860Watt/h. but i had a big time hassle while i was trying to install the 8th card cos of the cheap m2->PCIe connector , everything solved when i use a better m2 ->PCIe from amazon --->> Explomos M.2 Key Nvidia drivers are more stable in general, yet now less profitable in a way. Also WinX(addiversary) will boot into blue screen if more then 8 AMDs installed. MORE: to the above setup now out of 7 rigs: asus seems to be the most stable now at 1975-2000 and core 1120-1140 with 875mv. MSI gaming are really cool and smooth. Trying to exclude display (dummy/monitor issues now) some instability in 2-4 cards out of 64, including some vega pairs @Claymore that would be awesome if you'd add another line with option for custom labeling (per GPU notes) to the miner entry in the list. also so it would be possible to disable/enable such view (EthMan 3.4)
