Hey guys, Is there any way to make EthMan accessible via an external network? I opened the port 8000 and 3333 just to give it a try and I was unsuccessful. I tried to search in this forum, but I couldn't find a clear answer about it. It felt like it did make sense to open the port 8000 then type the external public ip:8000 on the browser. Didnt work Thanks!! Confirm that port 8000 is open.... https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?rh1dkyd2Hey, Thank you for replying!! I do access all my rigs through remote desktop via virtual servers setup, opening ports isn't really much of a big deal, but I did double check on http://www.canyouseeme.org/ and the ports are open. Any ideas? Make sure port 8000 is going to that specific computer, and check if anything else is listening on that port. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/48198/how-can-you-find-out-which-process-is-listening-on-a-port-on-windowsI checked and there was nothing else listening on that port on the current machine runnning EthMan. Just to be 100% sure I just changed the port to 64000. I can confirm the new port is open externally, confirm it's working on the lan and confirm it's not working with the external IP:64000 Maybe I am missing something? -_- Thanks man It should work if port is being passed from router directly to your computers IP address. Only other thing I would check is local firewall. For checking active local ports, this is really good, just found it. TCPView https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb897437.aspx

I have a GIGABYTE GA-Z170X-UD5 board, trying to boot 5 470/480s. I have them all on powered 1x-16x risers. It won't POST with 5 cards, but it will boot with 4 cards, mining now, 100% stable. Tried changing slots. Tried changing PCIE gen to 1, 2, and 3 in bios. Default display set to onboard. Is there a different setting I need to change? Looked through the bios, didn't see anything else. Is this a board that needs 16x risers if using more than 4 cards? If so, can someone link one that won't fry a card? Isn't that the point of the powered risers? The cards get all their power from molex directly connected to the riser circuit board. The only thing going to the motherboard is a USB cable from riser to 1x board for data. Motherboard power can really only power 2 or 3 cards anyway because the ATX plug only has 150W available. I have seen posts of people saying connecting molex to mobo is optional on that board anyway as long as you use powered risers.

Here is my current setup... GPU 0 Sapphire Vapor-X R9 280x GPU 1 Sapphire Nitro+ 8GB RX 480 GPU 2 XFX DD Black Edit 4GB 380x Current mining batch @echo off set GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 set GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 set GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 set GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
@echo on EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool coinotron.com:3344 -ewal molitar.miner1 -esm 2 -epsw <pass> -dpool "http://sia-eu1.nanopool.org:9980/miner/header?address=<address>&worker=miner1&email=<email>" -dcoin sia -dcri 30 -allpools 1 -ethi 16,2,16 Now since I have a RX 480 now I have to use the Crimson driver is there any tweaks you an suggest? So far I have not figured how to tweak my RX 480 or reduce voltage on my R9 380x but I did custom edit my BIOS on my R9 280x? Does the above suggestion of having two different miners running on same system make sense or will the gain be too little? Also is there any other suggested tweak settings. HashRate

Maybe you're right, but according to the manual of the MB if you use more than 4 GPU's you have to connect the molex... I own 3 of these MB and also powered risers, but never tried the cards without connecting the 4 pin molex.

If you have three USB risers connect to the same molex cable, it will burn the cable.

All the cards are 8 pin, so power draw from the slot shouldn't be an issue.

it's true that lbry will be added for dual mining? this will kill nvidia miner lol, i hope claymore will choose another coin Hello Claymore, can you add Bikercoin to your GPU and CPU Mining software please? Bikercoin is a Cryptonote based coin, so you should add the support to your Cryptonote mining software. But it would be very nice if you can add Bikercoin support to ETH/DCR/SIA Miner too. I'm the owner of an Bikercoin pool. You can reach my Pool at: http://bikercoin.acidminer.orgYou can contact me here by answer my pm. kind regards i think not possible because cryptonote is mem intensive?

Hmm, I was thinking it would be fine since it has 7 slots, and you would think a board would be designed to use all slots, or at least more than 4. Going go see if I can get 5 working by a card directly in board, as I don't have 16x risers to test. I didn't get a BTC pro because I heard their were high failure rates. This true? Or only on the H97?

Go see Bits Be Trippin Youtube videos... they are rave on that board. A board that popular must be that good, no?
