set pagefile to 16gb, remove # from esm line and have more than 2gb gpu's. so this is your start.bat GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 EthDcrMiner64.exe and this your config.txt -epool eth-us-east1.nanopool.org:9999 -ewal 0xEDa996a87AAaF6fa15580ADa4da6Da235bea21eB -epsw x -esm 0 -estale 0 -dpool http://dcr.maxminers.net:7728-dwal alexmobile.alexmobile -dpsw 0311 -mode 0 -tt 80 if dcr doesn't start, change esm values, from 0 to 3, see which is good for that pool

Thanks for the help...but still does not work I have no problems using NiceHash's GUI software I usually get 54.7mh/s... wanted to try to use Claymore and focus on Eth for myself. Reconfigured both the Start and config files, already have pagefile more than 16gb. I tried both ways on the esm 0 and 3 still get these errors 00:09:18:804 e44 args: -epool eth-us-east1.nanopool.org:9999 -ewal 0xEDa996a87AAaF6fa15580ADa4da6Da235bea21eB -epsw x -esm 0 -estale 0 -dpool http://dcr.maxminers.net:7728 -dwal alexmobile.alexmobile -dpsw 0311 -mode 0 -tt 80 00:09:18:805 e44 00:09:18:806 e44 ÉÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍ» 00:09:18:806 e44 º Claymore's Dual ETH + DCR/SC AMD GPU Miner v5.3 Beta º 00:09:18:807 e44 ÈÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍͼ 00:09:18:807 e44 00:09:19:007 e44 ETH: 1 pool is specified 00:09:19:008 e44 Main Ethereum pool is eth-us-east1.nanopool.org:9999 00:09:19:009 e44 DCR: 1 pool is specified 00:09:19:009 e44 Main Decred pool is dcr.maxminers.net:7728 00:09:20:775 e44 OpenCL platform: AMD Accelerated Parallel Processing 00:09:20:776 e44 Cards available: 4 00:09:20:776 e44 GPU #0: name: Pitcairn, 2048 MB available, 20 compute units 00:09:20:776 e44 GPU #1: name: Pitcairn, 2048 MB available, 20 compute units 00:09:20:777 e44 GPU #2: name: Pitcairn, 2048 MB available, 20 compute units 00:09:20:777 e44 GPU #3: name: Pitcairn, 2048 MB available, 20 compute units 00:09:20:777 e44 Total cards: 4 00:09:20:777 e44 Initializing...

I use a headless linux rig, well... I try to use lunix in all my PCs At the end I solved that problem installing X, but only the core. Then add the enviroment variable DISPLAY. export DISPLAY=:0
What do you mean the by core X ? The xorg-server package? So you can run claymore from ssh for example, not inside X, and have ADL working?

hi claymore
[WISHLIST] [NICE TO HAVE]
can you have the output to the current terminal device list the -cclock value every so often. it would save me checking TRIXX in windows and ssh into ubuntu. i have it set to 1000 mhz in config and it changes every once in a while. i have no idea why.
and i do like doing "localhost:8080" in a browser but it doesnt have the clocks. bonus points if its there too.
also: -cclock value is not in the log file?

Hello guys, I have a similar problem. I was mining fine but an hour ago I am now stuck in a Setting DAG Epoch loop between #68 and #69. What is going on? How do I fix this? http://imgur.com/a/H2AkF

I went and searched thru previous posts from users who are getting similar errors.. What I find is consistent is you must have 16mb Pagefile or more and at least 2mb on the video cards (I have this correct) I read several people tried running Catalyst 15.12, 14.9 and newer ver still end up with the same error. But no one has given a straight answer to whats causing it to "not allocate big buffer for DAG" and how to fix. I am sure the community has a solution... Thanks for the help...but still does not work I have no problems using NiceHash's GUI software I usually get 54.7mh/s... wanted to try to use Claymore and focus on Eth for myself. Reconfigured both the Start and config files, already have pagefile more than 16gb. I tried both ways on the esm 0 and 3 still get these errors 00:09:18:804 e44 args: -epool eth-us-east1.nanopool.org:9999 -ewal 0xEDa996a87AAaF6fa15580ADa4da6Da235bea21eB -epsw x -esm 0 -estale 0 -dpool http://dcr.maxminers.net:7728 -dwal alexmobile.alexmobile -dpsw 0311 -mode 0 -tt 80 00:09:18:805 e44 00:09:18:806 e44 ÉÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍ» 00:09:18:806 e44 º Claymore's Dual ETH + DCR/SC AMD GPU Miner v5.3 Beta º 00:09:18:807 e44 ÈÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍͼ 00:09:18:807 e44 00:09:19:007 e44 ETH: 1 pool is specified 00:09:19:008 e44 Main Ethereum pool is eth-us-east1.nanopool.org:9999 00:09:19:009 e44 DCR: 1 pool is specified 00:09:19:009 e44 Main Decred pool is dcr.maxminers.net:7728 00:09:20:775 e44 OpenCL platform: AMD Accelerated Parallel Processing 00:09:20:776 e44 Cards available: 4 00:09:20:776 e44 GPU #0: name: Pitcairn, 2048 MB available, 20 compute units 00:09:20:776 e44 GPU #1: name: Pitcairn, 2048 MB available, 20 compute units 00:09:20:777 e44 GPU #2: name: Pitcairn, 2048 MB available, 20 compute units 00:09:20:777 e44 GPU #3: name: Pitcairn, 2048 MB available, 20 compute units 00:09:20:777 e44 Total cards: 4 00:09:20:777 e44 Initializing...

I've been mining a month and never had this issue before... Im running Win 10, 16 GB virtual memory, 4gb ram, claymore 5.2, 6x RX 480 8 GB, Drivers 16.7.2. It's really bizarre! I think this has impacted a lot of people. I'm using Alpereum for mining and I can see that about two hour sago the hashrate halved, same time when my issues began (12:57 CET) I went and searched thru previous posts from users who are getting similar errors.. What I find is consistent is you must have 16mb Pagefile or more and at least 2mb on the video cards (I have this correct) I read several people tried running Catalyst 15.12, 14.9 and newer ver still end up with the same error. win 7 pro x64 16 gigs ram here. windows sets whatever page file it wants. plus ubuntu 15.10 desktop, x64 4 gigs ram, and it does whatever it wants too. i have no idea what its swap is set at. and it does work absolutely no problems here on both systems. just figured id toss that out here. Ok so I did just that allowed windows to set what it wants as a pagefile and still have the same issues I also have win 7 64 with 4x Windforce Radeon R9 270X 2GB Drivers 16.7.3. AAARGGHH! win 7 pro x64 16 gigs ram here. windows sets whatever page file it wants. plus ubuntu 15.10 desktop, x64 4 gigs ram, and it does whatever it wants too. i have no idea what its swap is set at. and it does work absolutely no problems here on both systems. just figured id toss that out here.
What I find is consistent is you must have 16mb Pagefile or more and at least 2mb on the video cards (I have this correct) I read several people tried running Catalyst 15.12, 14.9 and newer ver still end up with the same
Hello guys, I have a similar problem. I was mining fine but an hour ago I am now stuck in a Setting DAG Epoch loop between #68 and #69. What is going on? How do I fix this? http://imgur.com/a/H2AkF

Hello, Claymore! I am not an Englishman, so I apologize for the language in advance.
Regularly one card in rig starts to continuously get incorrect shares. It can work 3-5-10 days 24/7 with no problem, and suddenly all the shares are incorrect: "GPU #2 got incorrect share. If you see this warning often, make sure you did not overclock it too much!" Overclocked or not does not matter, the same result. After rebooting begins to work well next period.
Would be very good if the miner will be have watchdog option: if 9 of 10 last shares from one card are incorrect, then execute reboot.bat.
(Rig configuration: 2x Sapphire Nitro R9 390, 2x Gigabyte R9 290 3X, 1x Sapphire R9 290 3X, MB GIGABYTE GA-X38-DS4, Win 10, Crimson 15.12, Claymore's miner 5.1 beta, Eth only) (GPU #2 - Gigabyte R9 290 3X 1040/1250)

I had a weird bug where a 80C card was read as 135C and I have -tstop 95, my question is, if any card reach tstop, they will never start again ? Is there a way to start them after a fixed time, or temp? I had it running for a few minutes, went down to 40C but didn't start again. 17:35:26:901 15f8 parse packet: 242 17:35:26:901 15f8 eth: job changed 17:35:26:901 15f8 new buf size: 0 17:35:26:901 15f8 ETH: 08/14/16-17:35:26 - New job from etc-eu1.nanopool.org:19999 17:35:26:901 15f8 target: 0x00000000dbe6fece (diff: 5000MH), epoch #68 17:35:26:901 15f8 ETH - Total Speed: 27.476 Mh/s, Total Shares: 1163, Rejected: 1, Time: 60:51 17:35:26:902 15f8 ETH: GPU0 27.476 Mh/s 17:35:26:902 15f8 SC - Total Speed: 480.836 Mh/s, Total Shares: 2123, Rejected: 0 17:35:26:902 15f8 SC: GPU0 480.836 Mh/s 17:35:29:609 bb8 GPU 0 temp = 80, old fan speed = 100, new fan speed = 100

I feel as v5.3 version is not compatible with Parity v1.3.0 solo mining ? It just return an error -32600 :
I have tested with ethminer (cpp version and genoil version), all working well. I think, it is a problem with this miner -or- maybe some kind of special option

Question is one miner better than another when it comes to HAsh Rates? I am trying to set this Claymore up but cant seem to get it squared (yes I have pagefile set to 25Gb min and 5Gb max) Have used SGminer for X11 coins worked Fine Cpu miner for X11 coins worked fine Nicehash uses Genoil and it works fine but I want to keep my mined ETH not give away my power. Any suggestions for ETH solo/pool mining or dual ETH mining with additional coin?? Thanks I feel as v5.3 version is not compatible with Parity v1.3.0 solo mining ? It just return an error -32600 :

i want to recommend the dual mining ETH or ETC with SIA This miner is best for the dual mining If it can support Solo Mining with Parity 1.3.0 Maybe ETC (solo) + SIA (pool) It will maximize the profit Question is one miner better than another when it comes to HAsh Rates? I have tried 16, 25, 50gb Pagefiles also let windows set pagefile, nothing works may need to look for alternative Miner when I get some time to research which would give the best HashRate if any over another. any suggestions??? Ok so I did just that allowed windows to set what it wants as a pagefile and still have the same issues
I also have win 7 64 with 4x Windforce Radeon R9 270X 2GB Drivers 16.7.3.
AAARGGHH!
set fixed pagefile, I have minimum 18GB, maximum 36GB.

If a guy wants to jump in mining and has free electricity, what do you guys recommend to strat with? For start just 2 or 3 GPU. Is it better to pay more and buy new RX 470/480 or used maybe 290 or 280x? Here in my country used 290 can be found at 190EUR, used 280x at 140EUR, while new RX or even 390 is about 290EUR. Looking forward hearing from you guys, cheers!

290/290x if you have free electricity ( expect 250w-350w at the wall while dual mining ) rx480 if you can get them cheap
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 280x ( 1175mhz core / 1700mhz mem ) hashes around 17mhs ETH + 500mhs SIA
290x ( 1125MHZ core / 1500MHz mem ) hashes around 31mhs ETH + 620mhs SIA
390 are similar to 290x, not worth the extra price
