So, i readed much posts and i am confused little, is latest claymore miner works with win7 blockchain drivers or what is best to use to have back results on our RX 400/500 models back to 30mh/s ? I know there was much argue about that but there was also much incorrect answers so what is final conclusion, because i refuse to use win10, only win7. What must be used to work with undervolt and etc?
I have rx570 and rx580 both with Hynix, on win 7 they are at 30mh/s. With new Claymore miner, undervolting works with AB 440 beta 16, but you can set it in a bat file. How many of them do you have? Have you checked HWInfo for memory errors on your cards? What is your power consumption per card? What are your overclock / undervolt settings?
Well I only have Hynix ones but those numbers does not sound too bad.. If I would change something I would increase the -dcri parameter in order to reach 900mh on DCR (the sacrifice in ETH actually has a minor stability benefit - less fluctuations- at least for me)
Windows 7, Robinhood drivers, AB 4.4.0 beta 16, Claymore miner v10.0 My core clocks are locked at 1300MHz for both rigs and no matter what I put in AB it won't change a thing, so I change it in batch file with -cclock My -dcri value is 25 I think it's best for me. Is ETH+LBC dual mining more profitable with a new v10.0 miner? Thanks - Are your cards 8GB or 4GB?
- Your clocks are very high, have you checked HWInfo program for gpu memory errors? I bet you have millions...
- I have foundr -dcri to have impact on fluctuations. Personally I chose to sacrifice some ETH speed for some stability there (I am mining at -dcri 30)
- Why do you use AB, why don't you set core and memory clocks and voltages, all from the bat file? Claymore did so much work for this, give it a try
These are my bat parameters: -esm 0 -estale 0 -asm 1 -dcri 30 -cclock 1140 -cvddc 875 -mclock 2150 -mvddc 850 -tstop 80 -tt 70 -fanmin 15 -fanmax 85 -mode 0 - As for the most profitable coin to dual mine, best thing to do is try them all, write down your numbers and do your calculations. But first you should stabilize your settings
Thanks, man. Great info. My cards are with 4gb. I will check it and try to play with them when I find some time.

On another note, the new blockchain driver raise the power usage of your cards alot. If your mod was tight you may have to change some things like power limit or max temp.
Why would you say that? Comparing to the 16.11.4 I was running before both unofficial beta and official blockchain beta drivers make rx4xx use LESS power in a range of 2-5%, measured at the wall. Whats working for you for stable undervolts? AB beta16 or Overdriventool? No external utils needed. I hardcode voltages in bios and do fine-tune with claymore's miners. (New API is good on both ZEC & ETH miners)

and and this moment EthDcrMiner64.exe crashed. Try stock clocks voltages. If you are okay with them, then it is your OC (1250 is pretty high). My personal sweet spot is -cclock 1140 -mclock 2150 -cvddc 850 -mvddc 875. For those voltages, I have to lower mclock for some cards. I prefer those voltages because I have high price of kWh in my country (~0.3$)

No Fkin Luck......
Anyone else had problems. downloaded and run V10, ran for about 15mins then shut down. Had a fine working R9390x Trix-x. Its now completely not working, not being read at all the fans aren't running now. The only thing to tell me its getting power is the yellow button working. Have done all standard checks, changed cables, un & re-installed software, riser but no luck. Not knowledge able enough to get any further. Think thats a £300 card fucked. Anybody give me advice of what steps to check the card before i smash it of the wall. lol Dont have the funds to replace it so any help would be greatly appreciated....
When single card is used computer starts up but no display, using teamviewer to access. also card is not read in device manager. Does that mean the displays away so cards just a paper-wait now or cant anytime be done..........

2x Vega FE, 40-42Mh/s each. 3770k, water cooled, two HDDs, two SSDs, 3 fans.
Idle, 90w, full load mining, 511w.

Just a suggestion to make your life easier: 1) do not install amd driver EXE ever (point and click from device manager) 2) do not ever install/use AB or Strix(edit: or whatever Sapphire call their crap) 3) do not try to "fix" several problems at the same time RE dead card: try to power down, disconnect the ac plug and turn it on; try to stick it into x16 slot and see if it will work (you may need to play with your BIOS, also if you connect display make sure it's not integrated set as your default)

yeah. very interesting question. I think you need to mod the memory timing to get higher hash.

I have issues when Devfee stops mining and disconnect. Claymore trays to reconnect to my main pool after devfee mining and always shows rejected connection... any help? Many thanks!

Hello, Claymore. Could you add support for the devfee to nicehash - so that you can use -allpools 0 (like in the zec miner)? The kind of permanent reconnects between pools often fail . As a result, you have to use the -nofee 1 option for stability, but we both lose some profit. I think I'm not alone with this problem. I do not know what exactly the problem is, it began to show itself often, recently, but with "nofee" the problem disappears, since there are no reconnections between the main and the devfee pools. I have issues when Devfee stops mining and disconnect. Claymore trays to reconnect to my main pool after devfee mining and always shows rejected connection... any help? Many thanks!
Oh yeah! A similar problem.

yeah. very interesting question. I think you need to mod the memory timing to get higher hash. you think right, but it has nothing to do with the question: what are Claymore's plans in regard to optimizing this miner for Vega architecture?

First timer for dual mining, got ETH working flawlessly but cannot get SIA working or more precisely reporting and get this "TARGET-MISS" error after each share:

Hey, I am not sure if this is the right place to ask: Rig continually worked until yesterday morning, and then in logs I saw devfee couldn't mine, and tried several times during night on eu1.ethermine.org pool without success. I am trying to connect since then and I get the error: ETH: Stratum - Cannot connect to eu1.ethermine.org:4444 ETH: Stratum - Failed to connect, retry in 20 sec... I tried: - older and latest version of Claymore
- restart miner/PC
- restart router
- options like -esm 0-3
- different miners
- different pools
- turn off windows firewall
- turn of windows defender
- updated drivers
- googling similar problems with no success
I'm using the basic configuration: setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal 0xXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX -epsw x I haven't done anything network-wise since then, so I doubt port could be the problem, and there were no Windows updates in the meantime. Do you guys maybe have an idea of what might be the problem and what could I do more? In a terminal window try: ipconfig /flushdns I just tried it, get the same error. not a solution but maybe a workaround: -allpools 1 Nothing yet, still the same problem, but thank you for trying. Does anyone else have an idea maybe?

Nvidia cards truly suck for dual mining.

You are comparing an apple to an orange. 570/580 is more in line with a 1070 not a 1060.
