Tytus, Nvidia Rigs getting popular more and more... how about pushing this feature / version?!  Grin

Try this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1854250.0  It is still in early stages, but Fullzero is committed to making Nvidia more accessible for miners.  He was the person I purchased my first mining rig from and has been outstanding with helping me learn through the last 6 months.

I learned everything I know the exact same way. I plan to teach a younger person the same exact way. The gift of knowledge is an awesome one. The guy I learned from watched me do just about everything wrong you could do wrong, super tolerant. When I started the process, I was a Windows baby, now, I'm a WhoBuntu.

Hello T,

I find a "Global Reload" for all rigs useful.

Can you consider having this features in the next smOS version?

Thanks

Great Job dude. Did you have to make any special changes in the BIOS? Or just plugging in 2 X 1-3PCIe Extenders worked?
This is running SMOS correct? You are using 4 X 750 PSU's to make this work?
Also from the clocks image, I find it very hard to believe that 1150/2150 is stable on a 4GB card with powerstage 1.

update newest bios from official asus site.
Above 4G Decoding - Enable (only in new bios exists)
disable Audio/Serial
just plug 2 X 1-3PCIe

run on SMOS
3*700+1*750 PSU's
1150/2150 - little lagging after 10 hours. Now trying powerstage 2.
Custom bios on GPU.

Hi, I'm using SimplyMining OS some time.
2 days ago my rigs on simpleOS stopped working for the pool ethermine.org (-epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444).
I use miner claymor-eth 8.1 or 9.0. Howewer, If specify the -epool stratum+tcp://eth-eu.dwarfpool.com:8008 - all works fine.
With -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 - All shares rejected. Though before that everything worked great.
All the same settings on Windows works without problems. The only problem on SimpleOS with a pool ethermine.org. Although, again, everything worked 2 days ago.

I overwrite the image, removed OC settings, waited for some time - but it has not solved the problem.
To change the pool not comfortable, and want to understand what the problem is.
Make sure you have a claymor-eth 9 on pool -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 is working ?

Website: http://simplemining.net

What is SimpleMining OS (SMOS) ?
It is nice looking and easy Operating system for mining on AMD GPUs

Most wanted info:
- idea is simple: download for free my OS and write it to any drive: Hard / SSD / even USB drive
- after that you just enter your email address in config.txt file and boot your rig
- login to simplemining.net dashboard using the same email and start managing your rig Smiley
- for now service is free but in near future it will be small cost per rig like 1 $ per rig per month
- if there will be new miner i will implement it fast with auto-updates system

Requirements:
- R OS = AMD GPUs R300/R200/HD7xxx series
- RX OS - AMD GPUs RX400 series
- hard drive / ssd / usb drive - it must be 7GB or bigger
- at least 1-4GB system memory (depend how much GPUs are you using and what miner)

About me
- I am linux admin for about 13 years and crypto miner for 5 years
- Linux, programming, scripting, mining are my hobbies Smiley
- i am honest and simple IT guy who whants to make world better and give something to it
- if you want to make donation BTC: 1ERRVbvV23h51ScH73nQr6TDmaieKNuuVD
- if you want to contact me about anything just write: admin@simplemining.net

Thanks for your help. I'm looking forward to this. Hopefully I will build my mining rig. But for now I'm only using a laptop with a nvidia driver and my os  is win10. Looks good so far. I will strive so hard so that I will have my rig someday.

My walet string for this pool

-wd 1 -r 1 -epool stratum+tcp://eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal $walletETH.$rigName -esm 0 -epsw x -allpools 1

All worked

Thanks for helping. I just copy and paste your string - and all worked! I think is because this prefix was missing - stratum+tcp://

yes,  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1433925.0
Just write only options without ....exe thing

Also after i will make this new board with rewritten everythin i will add more "batch" options along with grouping.
Just need more time, Smiley
I have many things going on areound me. I dont have even time ti implement service fees .... Sad

thank you

I ran it on a USB but it was slow. It was a USB 2. not 3 key. And not all USB 3 keys are equal. Fast USB 3 keys cost as much as a cheap SSD so I switched to SSD.
