With that said, check out Bits Be Trippin' on youtube. They do a fine job of helping the startup miner. They have results posted for the RX 570, 580s

It is just some minor improvements over the core clock compared to 470 and 480. All the RX 4xx series are going EOL, no more stock in the future.

Also the RX 5xx series will consume a bit less power than RX4xx. Anyways you don't have a choice, you will need to buy RX5xx for your mining purposes. I believe the RX5xx series are performing well for Ethereum mining and a bit better for Zcash since the core clock is higher on stock settings.

On custom bios comparaison, the RX5xx will just consume a bit less. I still have to finish my testing, but this is what I think we will get in the end.

This OS is intended to be headless.  You just need to edit the config file to include your email address before you start the rig.

Same or slightly better than a 470 or 480.  They're slightly overclocked so you may get 2 MH more at stock speeds. But as soon as you start tweaking the bios, undervolting, changing memory clocks, etc.  They work almost identical to a 470 or 480.

I tested Z270-A PRO MSI and i had up and running 6 gpus.
Now i can run only 5 I messed with options.
Anybody have this motherboard and can tell what did you changed to work 6 gpus ?

They are wrking fine !.
After alll i changes ALL risers and now its working with 6 gpus
So riser it was a fault !

Hello again.
is it ok to change the root and miner user passwords?
I'd like to forward ssh ports on my router and ssh to my rig from work while its working at home.

I guess you can but it can be replaced via my global update sometime in future.
Accually i will propably shutdown in future ability to login in to your rig with password.
This will propably will be replaced via RSA key which everyone of you will get - but its just a thought  and i dont know ETA of this.
Still as i will always say "i dont support custom changes" Its becasue i dont get responsibility if my updates will fuck something up due to changes in system, you need to understand this.
Its better to make updates for no modiefied by anyone system.

SSRv2 will be in about 25 days from now and i will have big availability so dont worry.
I guess ther will be constant stock of those devices.
Extension Boards will be in about 2 months from now.
There will be also firmware update when new SSRv2 will come out, and this firmware will ofcourse work for SSRv1 becasue it is the same hardware (except cosmetic changes like new slots and more leds

How is it with the voltage setting? Just plug in the card, cut the kernel clock and the voltage value and done? It is strange that the rx 480 8GB is happy with the value 1. I plan to finally expand the farm and at rx 580 it is a necessity to limit the consumption.

I've read that is possible to reach 27/28 m/hs , can someone help me posting me correct parameter ? I don't want to damage my gpu making mistakes with wrong parameter.

You need custom VBIOS for that. Try googling: PolarisBiosEditor timings.

Stock hmmm, about 24 ?
Custom bios can do 29-30 MH/s depending on gpu tyle (those results are for RX570 4GB)

RX OS is headless only, Just set in motherboard bios Integraded graphic as default, then just change email address once flashed pendrive nad boot , thats it. It should show up in dahsboard on my website.

However, I do have a complaint for you; the browser UI is in a pretty bad state imo. At a guess i'd say you're very much a back end sorta person and so I don't blame you, it works so why make it better aye? So anyway, I was just wondering if there was any plans to make some improvements on it

Is it possible to get this info from claymore on web app: "GPU #1 got incorrect share. If you see this warning often, make sure you did not overclock it too much!" then will be more easy for me understand what gpu need to downclock cause i'm can't stay all day front on monitor to check it.

if you can run the commands in windows then you shouldnt have any issues with them on linux

3 is lowered DPM state, lower dpm state lower wattage usage. But this is experimental and sometimes it works and sometimes not.
Try using 5 dpm and see if you will have also problems.

How do you backup the original bios example I built my rig instead of installing win like my other rigs I just used smos on usb now if I want to flash my bios shouldn't I have a backup so how do I backup my original without having to install win thanks for any tips or advice

I am, but I also offer refunds if it doesn't actually work - just wondering if you offer the same.

As for, "It will work for sure" - let me guess, you're adding 0x8D 0x00 0xXX 0x00 to the VoltageObjectInfo init regulator section. What you might not know is that that section is missing on MANY GPUs. What you probably didn't know is that even if it is there, that will only work for MOST GPUs - that is, the ones that have IR3567B-compatible VRM controllers.

Wolf0 is really good at card flashing  lots of knowledge and knows what he is doing.
He is why I tell people don't flash cards unless you know what you are doing.
The example above is a hidden piece of info that he told us and it is yet another reason non-skilled flashers (sounds like porn)  brick cards.

Hi again mate!

I'm having some issues with a rig with r9 390 cards! Before I went on vacation the rig was mining with 5 cards, but it seems like the OS has been updated since i left, and now I cant get it to run with 5 cards anymore, only 4!

Which GPU that will not work is random everytime i restart it. (So its not the GPU or risers)
Im using a z170 chipset on this rig.

The rigs with rx 580 cards is running solid tho

Any tips?

1. Right now there is no such option but there will be in near future.
2. Then something wrong must be with hardware, my OS detects all gpus.
3. No nvidia right now, meaby in some future, dont know when.
You can mine everywhere you want, just need to set proper settings. But i cant help with that
