We are pleased to announce that Coinbase has added support for Ethereum.
With support for Ethereum on Coinbase, consumers can now easily and securely trade, send, and store Ether. To get started, visit the “Trade” page on coinbase.com or tap on the “Buy” or “Sell” options on our iOS and Android apps.
Of course, all our services will continue to support bitcoin and we look forward to adding additional digital currencies in the future.
Kind regards,
The Coinbase Team

so eth got listed on coinbase to counterbalance the volume on polo? Smiley)))

hahahahaha what a good joke! Smiley))))

Coinbase consistently pumping ETH after HF while Polo does ninja ETC addition and now has greater ETC volume than ETH.  Maybe it will become ETC exchanges vs ETH exchanges.

fuck this shit ... i mean coinbase ...

I am not used to the formatting here and English is not my first language, it has been corrected. You guys respond very fast. I hope you understand the message just as quickly.

I heard you guys (ShareholdersUnited) lost quite a bit yesterday... And even more today Grin Here is a nice little place for the (SOON™ to come) foundation's relocation, its by the lake of Zug, not far from the foundation, the move should be free hassle Cheesy Cheesy Grin

Ive only seen confirmation from 1 exchange that they lost ETC.
Not sure the others dare share the information as it would be a hard fud.

But rumors is that its still happening.
Heard from a user yesterday about a replay attack

Can I still mine for Ethereum classic with my PC  (It's not that strong) or it's impossible at this point ?

About 1 hours ago the Ethash situation was like this:

100MH/s ethash:
coin   rew.     btc

ETC   3,9   0,01810
KR   141   0.01431
ETH   0,8   0,01386
EXP   12,4   0,01237
SOIL   981   0.00912   (im not 100% sure on the calculations on this one)
SHIFT 217   0,00808

The foundation got nothing. Ethereum Switzerland GmbH managed 31k BTC from the crowdsale.

A good question who shared those remaining 12kk coins. I'm sure Vitalik got his part of the pie.

They are spending crazy and are running out of cash.... Back in January 2016 they were already closing down six entities in four jurisdictions... "there was too much to handle" according to  Vitalik

Not sure about that... According to this article, they "holds a large amount of ETH, and also a big amount of ETC":

If someone could give me an advice if I should invest here or not , that would be great.
I see some people speaking about a hacker dumping ETC or something like that ?

Man! no one can advise you on that! You should diligently carry out your own researches and don't invest more than what you can afford to lose.

Someone posted this earlier:
http://bravenewcoin.com/news/ethereum-analysis-eth-vs-etc-potential-parity/

Looks like the shift is happening; http://fork.ethstats.net/ the hashrate is slowly gaining on the ETC side while it drops on ETH. Same goes for price's. It got me convinced that ETC is going up.

Yes, this is one of those weird situations where NO ONE knows whats going to happen, with either coins.
There are so many factors and options, and all depending on reactions.

Its a crazy volatile time for ETC & ETH.

BTC seems to be bleeding too.

Are you referring to this: https://www.reddit.com/r/ethereum/comments/4vr4om/the_baddies_have_moved_3641694241898506992612617

If the hacker dump it's ETC at once (very unlikely... He's not stupid) it would be dispersed back into the market. Price will tank for a while, and once the bottom is discovered it will rise. It's what markets do....
