This is my earning from rent hash for about 0.045 BTC in site prohashing
http://www.tinypic.pl/kp8czykqg0dk

sure ... etc is daggerhashimoto not scrypt ... go away with this scam shit

It's not a scam it's just a scrypt multipool that pays in whatever coin you want. If you keep an eye out sometimes it's possible to rent hash from nicehash and make some extra etc. But the conditions have to all fall into place, profitability on scrypt, price on NH, etc....I've been doing this on occasion for over a year.it usually only last 4-6 hours but a good way to gain profits...if your smart anyway.

Also greenuser or whatever your name is, it's pretty hard to survive as just a miner,I used to be that way too, didn't want anything to do with trading at all. But I met somebody awhile back that was a wall Street trader and damn good at it, she spent several nights teaching me how to trade and do it right. My mining profits over the last 3 or 4 years were pretty damn good, but once I got trading figured out I can usually at least double my btc most of the time way better than that even. It takes a little work and time investment to learn but is really the only way to support yourself on just crypto. I pastebinned all of our sessions and got her permission to share because the philosophy was the better everyone is at trading the better for the market overall. I'll try and find the link, it's been a few years and Im working 12-14 hour days doing structured cabling for one of Microsofts new data centers so gimme a little time lol

hmmm, think about it.
You mine scrypt, and would get etc for it...
the multiminingpool must buy the etc to pay you.
buying are done due bots. Selling also.
now think why etc is dump and pump ....
that are the multipool bots mostly ...

bad for everyone because the price will be at a level 0.0043 - 0.0045 without any chances to rise without a whale going in ...

Um no, etc is not scrypt, there is no selling of etc. Maybe if there is a Dagger multipool that mines whatever is most profitable, then they may sell etc and in that case your statement is correct. There is really no downside to using scrypt asics mining scrypt coins and buying etc. If anything it helps keep the price from falling too far. Different algos, bots don't matter in this scenario. Do your homework or something buddy lol.

@ iCEBREAKER Have you considered relaxation?

Christ enough with the censorship already...and this is icebreaker on relax mode dude, you will know when the hull gets breached and he opens up on you. Apparently you madam are fairly new to bitcointalk. This is extremely tame compared to the usual psychosis, if you don't like the naughty words you certainly won't like it when the threats, all out brawls and doxxing madness goes down.

Hay, I have no issue with free speech, that's why I am willing to challenge at times.  Also, I like a laugh and can take a ribbing too but, I have friends that just can't handle this sort of space and we are pushing some real bright people away.  There are plenty of threads that you can say fu*k & sh!t and stuff like that as many times as you like all over this board.

However, Crypto will go mainstream and we need to be at the front end of that.  Having a space where you can come for info and an environment where outsiders feel confident enough to ask questions without worry of ridicule is important.  Especially at a time where the ethereum community is divided.

Anyhow, I want PoW but then we lose the PoS people and they usualy have money to invest.  So if we go for a combination we will pick up the miners that drop off the other chain when casper arrives and get some whales too.

But we want to hear from everyone

@tyler LMFAO.  23,000 ton/25,000 horsepower icebreakers may lack nuance, but make up for it in terms of ability to disrupt frozen processes such as calcified groupthink, thus clearing safe passage for the flow of new ideas and perspectives.

As for a hull breach, good luck with that.

Quote
The Arktika is a double-hulled icebreaker; the outer hull is 48 mm (1.89 in) thick, the inner 25 mm (0.98 in) thick, with the space in between utilized for water ballasting. At the strongest point, the cast steel prow is 50 cm (19 ¾ in) thick

@greenie

There is friendly, safe space for crypto-noobies.  It's called Reddit.  And for the really bright, there is StackExchange.

OTOH, this is BITCOINTALK.  It is the enthusiastically/infamously adversarial crucible through with only the best crypto may pass with its dignity left intact.  Can't take the heat, stay out the kitchen.  Think of this forum as Arrakis, where Satoshi trains His faithful.  The carcinogenic toxicity is our local equivalent of the Gom Jabbar.   Wink

Since all ETC's options are to some degree contentious, I also prefer to go with the least contentious thing that could possibly work (Because KISS).

But the only thing that matters is who ships splendidly working immaculate code first, so Charlie Hos' ETC2 hybrid project may beat Casper to the finish line.

Cheers to you for being able to take a ribbing and keep on ticking.  You'll fit right in and be helping us haze outsiders in no time!   Grin

Nice to see theris been some updates and a new mist wallet come out. Will this fix the problem of having to download 2 lots of block chains or delete wallets. Maybe a future update to not cause problems is to have option built in to it to switch to ETC and you see your ETC coins and address then at a click of an option to move to ETC and have wallets their Smiley

It would seem like this would be easy.  I use a Mist wallet and keep a copy of the blockchain data directory for each coin.  I have also opened individual addressees in the wallet one for ETH and one for ETC.  When I want to work with ETH I rename the ETH chain directory to "chaindata" and change the name of the other.  I start the wallet and immediately select to oppose the fork or support the fork.  The wallet restarts in a minute and wala! you are in the correct chain.  So for all practical purposes the wallet would need to have two chain data directories and would switch from one or the other when requested.

I have not had any problems so far but I am not worried since I have very few coins.

The removal of the diff bomb could be done quite easily in the code, did someone already did that ? I could also open a pull request if needed

If we are to remain inclusive we should be open to the idea of, finders keepers, losers weepers.  People Knew the risk when investing in the Dao.   We all know you never invest more than you can afford to lose.  They should man up and take it on the chin, what's done is done.  Time to move on and stop crying like a baby.

It's time to look forward not back.

Moreover, just because i am open to PoS/PoW hybrid for ETC, it does not mean that i will stake any of my money.  That is for people to choose and work out the risk.  There is no risk free investment

Hats are hats, there are no colours
