I think the killer app for ETC is the behavior of ETH users.

I can not believe the stupidity of this https://forum.ethereum.org/discussion/8679/51-attack-pool-against-etc and this http://51pool.org/

Don't they realize that they will push every half normal ETH user (and miner) towards ETC if they proceed with this kind of stuff.

Damn idiots  Cheesy

Absolutely agree! Attacks on ETC will lead into more sympathy for ETC, most likely also help from miners, and it will damage ETH's credibility - in any case.

the guy called Chandler Guo who was planing to attack ETC with his little farm from just 120 GH/s now is planing to support ETC to fight against hackers !!

Is this true, i can find no links on the net?  Post URL references you photoshop fiend

you can not find ?? his twiter page pop up first on google so look by yourself...heheh Photoshop....God, I don't have nothing more interesting to do in my life than spreading lies

https://twitter.com/chandlerguo

and his little farms

http://www.powtopos.com/

cmon guys you don't know how to use Google ? wake up it's 21 cent, type just few letters and hit Enter, not so hard to do !!
btw this is one of the most famous guy in the crypto, top news today !

Become an ETC miner and you will have a say no doubt.  It's not the dictatorship ETH was.

Does it mean that if the miners do not want the PoS, there will never be a PoS in the Ethereum Classic?

Thats where they went wrong.  They did not get the miners on board. Can you see that happening again?

Thank you for the link plast555

It's way too early to speculate. POS for Ethereum doesn't even exist yet and it's likely that ETH will not meet their self-imposed deadline of implementing it.

If you sent it to your own address you can still recover it. It's a replay issue, you should use a splitter contract to separate your funds.

If anyone has any script mining asics machines you can put them to use mining ETC.. You wont be supporting the chain because its script but you can still select ETC as your payout
https://prohashing.com
Wow, i have script ASIC!  Can anyone feedback on this site?  Is it a scam?

Don't bother. Just mine whatever your ASIC is for and buy ETC with the proceeds if you want to support it. Paying someone else 5% to do it is ridiculous.

you stole my post except you said it better so all good Wink

There was no launch or premine. ETC is the same ETH as it was before the fork.

Why wait to sync geth?

MyEtherWallet.com supports Ethereum Classic.  Make the choice when you make the wallet

1etc = 0.0030299btc atm.  or $1.90  Still very cheap.

Would be a shame not to have a few.  Cheesy

I don't dispute that but 5%?  I am better off taking the coins from my current scypt mining and buying some ETC Cloud Mining contract as my scrypt miner will not help bump up ETC hashrate directly.
